You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!

Their menu has a couple options and a good priced combo meal which includes the entree, 2 spring rolls, a cupcake, chips/salad, and a drink- all for under $20. Their tea options were multiple pages long and they also had plenty of options on retail to buy for yourself. I got the bbq bowl both times since it was so good. Everything is given in to-go containers so it's easy to pack up and I had plenty to bring home. The seating is pretty limited having them inside and outside, but there is a whole study room dedicated for being quiet that have some wall plugs for charging your devices. The lounge is also darkly lit allowing natural lightly which makes it perfect to focus on your work. The only downside is that the ac doesn't seem to be strong so it gets hot inside especially if there's a lot of people. I heavily recommend trying a sweetened iced hojicha latte with soy milk to cool you down! The worker was sweet and explained to me the process of how it's made which I enjoyed learning about :)

I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a cafe con leche. Cafe: Strong but very good taste! Very similar to La segunda Kennedy. 9/10 Cuban: Nicely toasted with thick cut pickles. Great amount of roasted pork and fresh ham. One of the best I've ever had and definitely the best in the USF/north Tampa area! 9/10 Open Sundays but closed M/Tues No complaints! I think I'll try it for breakfast next time since I usually don't like having coffee after noon.

Tables weren't being cleaned. Was told a 15-20 minute wait for a table...was more like 40 minutes. Got coffee while we waited. Again, took like 15 minutes, but was very good. When ordering, was told they had no pork, which goes on their Cuban Sandwich, the "award winning" sandwich they are known for. Not sure how this happens when it's your "thing". Took over an hour to get food. The side salad was not good. It had lettuce, a few shaved carrots, and that it. The burger and chicken cordon bleu sandwich were good. Place will be good once they get their act together.

There is also a coffee shop and some seating inside, which I did not partake in on this visit but it's a nice added touch! I also sold some books/media here and the process felt a bit unorganized, but I got a decent amount of cash for my items. Be prepared that it will take a few hours, even if you get there right at 10am, but you can leave and come back or stay and shop around. They also give both a cash option and a store credit option, with the store credit amount being slightly higher. Overall a nice feature in a great shop!

Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). Rating - 4.2/5.0
