Hands down the best bubble tea spot in Tampa (and dare I say Florida?) what I love about this spot is their flavor combos are so unique and delicious. I also love that they use fresh fruit instead of all the artificial powders and flavorings. My favorite bubble tea is the Yogurt Avocado Tea which comes with fresh yogurt, avocado smoothie and crystal boba. Second favorite would be the Mango Pomelo. Their bubble tea is well worth the money. Gaining 2 stars with this updated review. I love grapefruit tea but served with fresh grapefruit. This place has just that!! I finally found a place in Tampa that is closer to home where I can get this tea. It's an icy tea -- they mix the green tea and grapefruit with ice in a blender which I love! They serve with freshly sliced grapefruit in the cup for a beautiful presentation! I got mine unsweetened but I would definitely recommend getting light sweet with this drink to take away some of the tartness. Overall delicious drink and I'd definitely be back to get this!! Great tea shop in USF area. Price is not cheap but the drink quality is great. The shop is super efficient and you wont have to wait for too long unless it's super busy. My fav is def cream brulee milk tea. Their mango pomelo is also great. The sweetness level is also just right and no need for adjustment. Last time we tried a few different fruit tea drinks but were not impressed, will probably stick w the fav ones. They blended l fruits w ice and tea all together, makes it somehow a slushie - which is very weird to me. I thought you're supposed to blend fruits alone then add it to the mixture of tea and ice to make it a fruity tea. Honestly 3 stars because the service is great and the staff is always super nice. Tea wise... not so much. I've been to this place 4 times (just trying different teas bc maybe I was just ordering the wrong thing) Unfortunately most of their milk teas just taste like sweetened milk (no real tea flavor here). Tried a few teas without milk and the tea itself just tasted overstepped and bitter (Even with it being sweet). The cheese foam is okay, not as thick as most cheese foams I've had. Rather just go to other tea places in the area since this place seems to be pricier than most. ~$7.50 for a small cheese foam tea with boba. $7.50 for half the size of a normal sized boba tea elsewhere....No thanks. HEAVENLY! Looking for authentic, delicious bubble milk tea that's made with real ingredients and not powder? This is the place! I have been going consistently for the past couple years and it has never failed me. Their fruit tea is definitely on the sweet side, so lower your sweetness levels on those. The cheese foam and matcha are to die for. I am a moge tee fanatic. If this place was closer than 30 minutes, I would be here constantly. The only downside is their parking, but if you get here right at 12:30 p.m. on Christmas day, three of their retail parking spaces are open! Otherwise, you can park across the street and walk. I'm now addicted to their cheese foam and matcha drinks. You can even get it together! Chris W. criticized me for not getting boba in this drink, but it really doesn't need it. I accept their standard ice/sweetness and it's perfect. (It's very minimal ice, like I tasted two small pieces and I drank it immediately.) What a great boba shop with all the latest drink trends! From cheese foam to yogurt teas to mochi in your drink, Moge has it all. I really appreciate the number of options they present (although it can definitely be overwhelming). If it's your first time there, I highly suggest using the ordering kiosk so you can sort through the options slowly. Moge is very popular, so there usually is a 5-10 minute wait for your drink. They have tables that you can sit at, but there are only about ~5 and they are often taken. It seems like most people will opt for their drink to-go. All in all, love having Moge Tee as an option. Yet another delicious boba tea lounge opened in the USF area, and Moge Tee offers a relaxed and quiet place to sip and study. I discovered Moge Tee on Instagram, and since I was in the area, I decided to stop by. The parking lot is pretty small and you have to park in a space marked for "retail." The staff was very friendly. I was excited for their Yakult drink offerings, but they were out of dragon fruit, so I ordered an orange Yakult tea with boba. They slice fresh fruit and put it right in your drink. It's nice to look at, but I found that the orange pieces clogged my straw and made it difficult to drink. The flavor was great and I was satisfied with my drink. You can adjust the ice and sugar levels of your drink, which I really appreciate. The prices are higher than the other boba places in the area, so I don't see Moge Tee as my default place to go, but this is a solid choice for drinks. Their menu is extensive, so there's a drink for every palate. I would return to Moge Tee if I was in the area again. read more

So happy to finally get to try Moge Tee - Tampa. The purple yam bubble milk tea called my name. I was thinking that it was ube. But, they said they didn't have it. I picked the mango pomelo fruit tea with cheese foam. Oh that's a long name. Didn't realize I picked the most expensive one. It was so good. I'm so glad I could pick the level of sweetness. At first I missed more sweet, but seeing that the cup was so big it was just fine. I want more of this. I do love cheese foam. This is a new building with usf students in it. Love this place. The staff (Amber and Nicole) were so kind and pleasant. They walked me through some of their menu items as (to my knowledge) they have a few toppings and drinks that most boba and tea places in Tampa do not offer. I was in the area and knew I had to stop by and didn't even think to see their hours, I basically got there like 15 minutes before the open and they still took care of me. Thank goodness, because I live so far away and would've had to stop at some competition near by(so many boba places by USF). I tried three drinks: Mango Pomelo- so good, fruity(fresh mangos), and loved the jelly add-ins. What I will note next time is to ask to hold the grapefruit. Not a fan of grapefruit. The cheese foam on top was amazing and went well with the fruity flavor. (Also my first time trying the cheese foam) Taro Milk Tea- The taro milk tea has chunks of taro in there. If you have never tried taro the actual root, it is very different than your typical taro milk teas. It is less sweet, the taro chunks are sort of pasty and potato-y. I know this is probably the more authentic way and taste, but I'll definitely keep to my sugary, sweet taro milk tea without the actual taro. I also tried the Creme Brûlée Uji Matcha and I loved it. It was creamy and smooth. The matcha was perfect and just the right sweetness. Some sips you got just creme brûlée, which by itself is so good and sweet and some sips you would get a mixture which gave a perfect blend! Will get again. PARKING- Quite limited as it is an apartment complex I believe. I was sort of hesitant to park in the Visitor parking, so I had to do some strange turn around to fit in the first parking spot which is for retail. This location is easy to miss. read more

I've been looking for some fresh, authentic boba tea since moving to Tampa 4 months ago. This is it for me. This location was a bit difficult to find but it was more user error than anything so no fault to the restaurant. It's located at the corner of new apartments. It's very minimal in the store and the set up was nice. I really wanted to try their Creme Brulee drink since I've never had one before. Staff was really nice and helpful. The area is full of students so that's who most of the customers were. We also got the strawberry yogurt drink as well to try. Creme Brulee: It wasn't really hitting it for me. I don't think it tasted like creme brulee at all and the milk to tea ratio was off. It was more tea. Strawberry Yogurt: It was okay, nothing to rave about. You can change the sweetness to the drinks but I didn't know what to expect so I went with what it came with, maybe I'll go back and change the sweetness and update this review then. read more

This is my favorite boba/ tea place in Tampa. It is a shop tucked away in the corner of an apartment complex close toUSF. The restaurant is very clean and has a calm ambiance. The service was great and the boba shop employees were very kind. I appreciate the uniqueness of the items and the freshness of the drinks. I tried the taro tofu pudding tea which was an amazing drink, I ordered it at a 50% sugar level but could have went up to a 70. FINALLY. An authentic boba place that is up to par with the ones I'm used to in California. This place is the best combination of tea quality, menu variety, creative drinks, cute packaging, and beautiful atmosphere! I got the mochi matcha. I've been dying to try a boba drink with mochi, which has been so hard to hunt down and are usually in a very few trendy boba shops. It was a matcha milk tea with cheese foam, red bean, and mochi paste. Note that the mochi aspect of the drink is a liquid paste rather than a chewy ball that you typically think of when you hear mochi. I personally loved it but it may not be for anyone. They only had one sweetness setting for this particular drink which I think was perfect. The shop was beautifully decorated, had ample seating space, had free Wi-Fi, and is a great space to study. Not to mention the bear cup the drinks come in are so cute!! Overall I'm glad I finally found a boba place in Tampa that is as delicious as it is instagram worthy. read more

Moge Tea is a chain teahouse located behind an apartment plaza, next to University Mall. Since this was not noted in previous reviews, I did not know what to expect. Parking is limited to about 3-4 "retail" spaces, so be careful not to get a ticket. There are quite a few bubble tea shops in the surrounding plaza, so there is so much competition in the area. You can also park in the plaza lot in front of the apartment building and cross the back street to walk over. There is no seating inside of the shop. Moge Tea is known for using fresh ingredients in their drinks. As an example, instead of powder taro milk tea mix, they will use fresh taro. The flavor and texture is more natural and has less synthetic ingredients and powder mixes that other tea shops use nearby. Note that the classic boba they use is a golden boba, not the black boba that you might be used to. I have tried over six different drinks at Moge, including their soy pudding desserts. My favorite so far is their original milk tea and their grapefruit Yakult. Due to the popularity of the drink chain and fresh ingredients, you will notice that their prices are $1-2 higher than other shops. read more

Why 5 stars? Because my drink was unique and refreshing. --- --- --- When Chris W told me about Moge Tee, I was intrigued. I read many of the reviews (not Chris's because he takes 3-6 months to write his) and many of them mentioned that the drinks here are a bit different than what you'd find at your run of the mill Boba shop. I wholeheartedly agree. I ordered a mango pomelo, which was, at most, a distant cousin of a typical mango boba slush. I really don't know what was in it - I just know it consisted of mango, slushiness and cheese foam. If you're weirded out by cheese foam, I recommend giving it a shot. It actually mixes quite well with the sweetness of the drink (and no, it doesn't taste like cheese). My wife opted for a taro boba slush, which true to the reviews, was much less sweet than the typical taro slush. I am so bummed that this location does not have the souffle desserts like they do at the locations in Asia, but maybe that will be added to the menu soon enough?! The concentration of places to get boba near USF is hilariously crowded. I could definitely see myself visiting again in the future though! read more

They might have the best tea I've had in Tampa. I had the cheese foam mango tea. I forgot to ask them to reduce the sugar, but unlike every other place in Tampa, I didn't feel like I was getting diabetes from drinking it with the normal sugar level. The drink was just perfect. Fresh mango flavor, great tea taste without bitterness. The cheese foam was just slightly salty and very creamy. It made me think of cream cheese, which goes well with most fruit. The drink wasn't overly sweet at all. And while the drink was more expensive than any other place in the area, its quality was so high that I don't mind. Even the cup and lid were the nicest I've seen! As mentioned by other posters, the parking situation is not ideal. The store is located at the bottom of an apartment complex, and there are only 5 retail spots (plus two disabled person parking spots). They were full when I arrived, so I had to drive around the parking complex (no great place to turn around), then drive across the street to park in one of the spaces behind the Dollar Tree. I read that the apartment complex has started towing people parked in the resident spots, so I wouldn't take that risk. I'll happily return. It's worth it despite the parking situation. read more

Another foodie Instagram discovery! And lucky me, I was still able to try them during their grand opening week! Tampa's newest boba place on the scene, Möge Tee near USF in Tampa is definitely more authentic than any other local boba spot I've patronized. It is bright inside, very sleek and modern in decor, bright vibrant drink menus and friendly staff. When you walk in there is a table with masks, hand sanitizer and paper menus, as well as social distancing floor markers throughout. Staff is masked up too. After my oldest son, his girlfriend and I read the menu board, we made our decisions.... I ordered the fresh pineapple tea with white boba, my oldest ordered the Oreo milk tea and his girlfriend got the fresh mango tea with white bubbles and I got an earl grey bubble milk tea for the next day. We caught their "buy one get the second one 1/2 off" special. The cashier pointed out a few gift card promos so I purchased a $30 GC and got an additional $5 free. And I was able to use them for my purchase that evening. The location was tricky to find as its behind the main plaza (with Sweet Buns and Boba Cup) and down the small service road from Cookie Munchers. I'm realizing that good boba is hard to find in Tampa; coming from the west coast, there's usually a boba shop on every other corner that will get the job done. But here in Tampa, it's a little harder to find. Moge Tee is closer to the university, so it doesn't surprise me that it's a lot of students from the USF campus that form most of the customer demographic, but this place is definitely worth checking out. The shop is clean, simplistic, and serves its purpose of supplying boba and tea and serving as a local hangout/study spot. They have self-order kiosks (the modern age) as well as a cashier to take orders and the drinks come in the traditional teas that we're familiar with, as well as unique flavors and twists that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I came and got a simple brown sugar milk tea (which I usually do for quality testing) and I definitely think this place is worth coming back to try more of the unique flavors.
