This group just would not stop. They took my credit card information I gave them and made all kinds of fraudulent purchases online and was stupid enough to have it sent to their address. I pressed charges with the police ASAP and they are being investigated. I also filed a complaint with my bank and got every dime back that I paid them. Including the money I gave Groupon. And the organization that governs movers will hopefully be monitoring them more or will shut them down since my complaint. Although I doubt it since they seemed to just make a ton of excuses for their piss poor business acumen. They are so pathetic they've sunken to writing fake reviews on Yelp to boost their rating (see the unrecommended reviews). These guys came through for us with less than 24 hours notice. The company we originally had scheduled wanted us to have 50 moving blankets to covered our items that they were going to load into 2 PODS. We weren't told that ahead of time so the move fell through. We called QC Fast Moving and Storage, told them our situation. They booked us for the next morning. We went and bought 30 moving blankets so we wouldn't have the same situation as before. The QC crew of 3 came and got started ASAP. We found out they would have rented us moving blankets (no one else would so we didn't think to ask) for much less than what we paid for them. They also would have stored our items for 3 weeks cheaper than renting the pods. The crew was polite, friendly and very efficient! It was obvious they were pros. We will use them again to unload our pods when our new home is ready. read more

I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted I am with the level of service I have experienced from your moving company. I had confidence that I would receive reliable, top of the line service from QC Fast Moving that would also respect my time and my personal property. BOY WAS I WRONG! The movers showed up late and hungover from the night before. We all know that people move slower when having been under the influence of alcohol, not to mention they were late. It took forever to move the furniture. But the even bigger concern is the lack of concern for my missing bed parts. My bed cannot be properly assembled without the missing pieces. I've called several times with two promises to have a call back that hasn't happened. No one ever answers the phone or returns messages. I can't believe this company is still in business. While they did move me smoothly, they were an hour early. Thankfully I was ready in time. They left a clementine size hole in the wall of my apartment and have yet to hear back from them about repairing this. They also scratched the door jamb at my new condo. There was a $50 breakdown fee for ONE BED that I was not informed of until the day of. They were pretty slow. It took two hours to move essentially a studio apartment 6 miles. read more

If I could give this company negative 5 stars I would. I have never been so angry or disappointed with any business in my entire life. I scheduled these movers one month in advance of my move date, for a 3pm move. I called them at 3pm and they told me they were running late, called again at 4pm and they still gave me false hope that they would be here, just later than expected. 5pm rolls around... still not here. I call them, they do not answer. I call again at 6pm, no answer. Call again at 7pm. No answer and now is going straight to voicemail. They never showed. Never called back. This is hands down the MOST unreliable company I have ever experienced. Take my advice, and take your business elsewhere. read more

I encountered movers helping a neighbor and stopped them for info. I was told to check their website to see if the date I want is open. If it is, go to Groupon and buy the advertised deal - $235 for 2 movers and a truck for four hours. I checked my date on the site and it was available so I bought the Groupon and immediately called to book the reservation. I was told that before I could book, I would have to pay a $99 "transportation fee" that would not be refunded or credited in any way. I told the lady that was nowhere on their Groupon deal, that I didn't have another $99 to pay immediately after purchasing the Groupon and that the $235 I just paid should entitle me to book my appoinyment. I was not able to book without paying the additional $99 so I cancelled the Groupon. False advertisement! read more

Don't even bother with this company - unprofessional and a pain to deal with. The time they were supposed to arrive at our apartment on Saturday they never showed up (had said they would arrive between 9-10am). We waited for about thirty minutes and ended up calling them to find out they wouldn't be able to make it for another 5 hours due to truck problems. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and 3pm rolled around - still nothing and had to call again. At this point my guy and I were just done with our time being wasted so we ended up getting a last minute U-Haul and moving everything ourselves, which we wanted to avoid in the first place so we wouldn't be hurting all week. Give a customer a heads up - we shouldn't have had to call each time for updates especially when it deals with being late or not coming at all! There needs to be some kind of back up plan in place so companies like this don't end up leaving customers in tough spots. I can see why this company is on Groupon. read more

I do not recommend this company. They moved me from an upstairs apartment unit to a downstairs unit, in the same complex. I initially told them I could only afford to pay for 2 hours and it really shouldn't have taken the whole 2 hours. I even had a friend help, which they didn't particularly like. At exactly the 3 hour mark, they were done. So, of course, I had to come up with the extra money that I had not planned on. I'm an older lady on a fixed income. That said, I left 2 days later and was away for a week. When I returned and started to unpack things, I noticed that a fire-resistance storage box that I have, which was locked as it had personal papers in, had been busted open. I also had $120 in an envelope inside a card, which I had received as a mother's day gift. They took that money from me. I had planned on using that for groceries. I contacted the company and sent them pictures of my busted box and the lock and they said they couldn't tell anything from the pictures, which were very clear. Needless to say, they did not refund me the $120 and acted as if I had made it up!! Horrible company and customer service. If you do use them, put your valuables up if you don't want to get ripped off. They don't deserve any stars, but it wouldn't let me post without clicking at least 1. read more

I highly recommend this company for all your moving & storage needs. I have used this company twice in less than a year. The owner came out personally to provide me with an estimate. The rates are very affordable, the staff was professionally and easily identifiable. I felt like they cared about my belongings as if it were their own. I usually don't write reviews, having said that, I can't write a positive review for this company. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! I called the day before to confirm that they would be coming and they said yes. The day of move they were late; I gave them 30 min buffer before calling the company. After finally calling every number they had, someone answered. They said, they would talk to the guys and call me back. One hour later, I call back because I hadn't gotten a call. They wanted to reschedule my move to another day, after I had taken the day off for this move. So they stated that they could move me at 5pm that same day. I asked them to confirm. They said that they would talk to the movers and they would call me back. They told me yes at that time and also tried to call to confirm an hour before the 5pm move. They then stopped answering my phone calls. So I had my fiancé call from a different number. THEY ANSWERED and stated that they would need until 630pm, which we had to comply since we were running out of options. Needless to say that they didn't show up at 630pm. I called all the numbers again. Finally at 645pm someone answered and I wanted to talk to a manager or owner...guess what they said...yup...we will have them call you back. I had to hire a U-Haul and pay for movers last minute. Don't make the same mistake that I made with this company. Pay a little more and get a company that is reputable. They say that they are part of Better Business Bureau. I tried looking up after the fact...I couldn't find them on website. They got average reviews on Groupon...difficult to believe. read more

An AWFUL experience!! While the workers themselves (Bo & Marques) were good, we had issue with the owner who identified himself as Charles Owens. We found them on Groupon and were told that I did not need to purchase the Groupon and they would just honor that price ($149 for 2 hours 1-hour of manpower & 1-hour of travel time). We were scheduled for 8am 12-4, by 8:40am I had to call to inquire about where they were. Before they started we again reviewed the amount discussed ($149 for 2 hours), they began working at 9am, the move was completed at 11:08am. When it came time to pay they told us the amount would be $263, due to additional fees not initially disclosed citing an $89 travel fee from THEIR location to the originating move location also stating that travel fee counts as an hour travel time, they were also told up-front that there would be a stop at a storage facility (no mention of an extra fee for that as well-$25). We got the owner (Charles) on the phone, when I told him what was told to me by HIS employee who was there & corroborated what HE told me initially the owner became EXTREMELY rude yelling telling us that it was NC law that they charge from the time they leave their homes (travel time) AND then the travel time in the GROUPON kicks in, also made statements like "when you go to work don't you want to get paid" I had to ask for an apology for his employees because of THEIR lateness. THEN while on speaker phone he said¬¬¬ to one of his employees..."Did you take their stuff off the truck, I told you NOT to take it off until you got the money from those Mother F----S". Really??? How un-professional!! I'm sure he forgot he was on speaker phone when he said it, but that does not excuse it. Charles Owens or Amankwah is the absolute WORST most in-professional person I have ever dealt with, I would rather carry furniture on my aching back than use this company. I guess Mr. Charles should also realize, we researched the NC law and found that when it comes to movers, the clock STARTS when they get to your house, NOT when they leave their house!!!! Not to mention my fiancé helped move a couple of items so it's not like the movers moved 100% but wanted to get paid for $200%.
