I used these guys one time back in 2012 and it went great I recently referred them to my sister. She used them and it went awful -they were very very very very late - they took a long break for lunch , they left in their truck with everything packed and went to lunch with my sisters stuff! If you want to spend 3 days moving, and if you love being charged 4 times the original estimate, then be sure to hire Dynasty Movers. My girlfriend called them as a last resort to come over and move her small 2 bedroom home on a Sunday. They quoted her $295 for the move. They arrived and got right to work. A few hours later, the head mover (who looks like Jesse "the body" Ventura in his younger days) informed us that we'd misled them and that the move would require another man. Sure, fair enough. The other man arrived and went to work. Then after a whole day of moving, the head mover informed us that they'd have to spend about an hour TOMORROW to finish the move. Oh, and they wanted a check right now for $550! We had no choice, we paid. The next day came. Instead of spending an hour to finish up, they spend another EIGHT hours and charged us ANOTHER $494!! So this move, which the offered for $295, ended up costing us $1000!! If this is what you want, then hire them immediately. If not, then dont walk, RUN. Avoid them at all costs. I chose Dynasty because of the great reviews they received on Yelp. I had a small moving job (3 rooms with little furniture) and only 10 miles. I got a verbal quote for $295 and was told I'd have to pay cash. Two nice guys showed up on time, but then took their sweet time getting started, took a LOT of smoke and restroom breaks, and were not in a rush to get the truck packed. They did protect the furniture, but I had to pay extra. When they emptied the truck, they just dumped everything. Didn't make any atttempt to ask where I'd want things put or have them organized. Then to drive the 10 miles, it took them an hour (equates to 2 hours, since they double travel time). They didn't drive over 35 mph on the streets and 45 on the freeway (which had no traffic). My total bill was $550 and they pocketed the change. I did include the tip, but a courtesy of asking if I wanted change would've been nice, instead of just assuming. The movers arrived late, about 15 mins. I had to call the main company who called the movers and the guy who answered said he would call me back to let me know where the movers were. I never got the call back, but about 10 mins later the movers arrived. Not a big deal, as long as they stay for the full time I requested. We were quoted a $165 minimum for 2 hours to move several big furniture items, like couches, a bed, and a desk. They did a great job moving everything and wrapping everything so that there was no damage to the items. However, we were charged for shrink wrap when we also provided our own. And we didnt use all of it. $20 for that....I dont agree with that one. As for the movers themselves, honestly.....I did not feel safe leaving my purse around, so I hid it. I also felt slightly uncomfortable being alone in my apartment with them. Luckily my fiance was there most of the time, so it wasnt that big of a deal, but I could see how some women would not feel comfortable. And they did a great job with the move, but thats how I felt about the movers personally. Once we were done with the move, the total cost went up to $245 and it was suggested by the movers that we tip them on top of that. I really dont like when people do that. It makes things very comfortable and awkward in case you dont feel that they deserve a tip, or if the two parties disagree on the amount of the tip. We didnt have a problem, but I still think that is rude. Also, we were charged for the drive! Not sure why, it was explained to my fiance. But we were under 15 mins away! We suggested taking the freeway since it would be faster and they said no. So if you are going to charge me for the drive time, then take the faster option. read more

Dynasty Movers Team was great and a lucky find. I had pre-scheduled USA Relocation for my move a week prior. However, on the day of the move, they arrived 2 hrs late and then argued about everything so I had to ask them to leave. Right after, I got on to CRAIGSLIST and found David (Dynasty Movers). He agreed to send two guys first thing in the morning. Matt and Steve arrived on time and without any fuss started moving my stuff. I didn't have too many boxes but had enough (and heavy) furniture to fill a one bedroom apt. They were so efficient and quick that in 1.5 hrs, they had loaded the truck and we were on our way. They did not waste a single minute at any time. The unloading was fast (about 1 hr) and there were no damages. Matt and Steve were very professional, polite and friendly. Being alone during the move made me quite nervous but Matt and Steve were so good that I was at ease right away. Plus David (owner) gave me a really good deal on the move. My family and I have used this Company many times over the Years, These guys are Great! The actual movers show up on time and ready to work! They work non stop from arrival to the completion of the move : ) Which is very important since you pay hourly! They are very professional and they know how to get the job done and they have insider tricks that the average person wouldn't think of....Such as wrapping up dressers, nightstands etc....so the drawers don't fall out! They are very thorough! These guys work at lighting speed and don't huff and puff and act like they are dieng! We have never had any damage to anything that they have moved. With one day's notice, I called Dynasty Movers last weekend .. I got 2 guys, Jimmy and Tommy. They knew their stuff, hardworking, professional, clean, well-mannered and nonsmoking guys. They took two potty breaks and went back to work, and were gracious when I offered coffee, water and a snack. They were sweating like crazy and kept a positive attitude the whole time. I actually felt sorry for them; they were hustling to get the job done. They worked fast, wrapped, packed, were respectful to my my house and property, delivered and moved my stuff to a 10' x 20' storage unit without any damage. I definitely would recommend them and use again. My suggestion is to have everything written out - itemized exactly what you plan to move, the location from point A to point B down to the miles, and be very specific when calling of what you want done. I thought it would take 2-2.5 hours to do the job, Mr. Troup said more like 4 hours and he was right. I was skeptical but he knew what it was going to take. He was right on spot. I give them A++ and 10 stars. The long story .. As a woman in the process of relocating, my husband has already left, leaving me to make this move alone, I was apprehensive about the move and hiring guys I didn't know. I had to move stuff to storage in order to get my house ready for showing, Everyone I knew had terrible experiences and no one they would recommend. I found Dynasty Movers on Craigslist. I called them on Saturday to move the next day-desperate measures. I had contacted a total of 3 different guys/movers a week prior but come the day before, the one guy I went with never called me back the day before to confirm, my gut feeling was he was flaky, so I started calling other places on a Saturday, for a next day move. I spoke with David Troup. He was upfront of all the charges and fees, he was $20 more an hour but he was able to accommodate my schedule and two others I contacted weren't much cheaper or accommodating. Dynasty movers is a member of the BBB and they care very much about their rating. The owner reached out to me and we came to an agreement to resolve the issue. The movers were 2 hours late because they're truck broke down. And then once they showed up, they accidentally locked their keys in the truck, and I had to wait an additional 3 hours for AAA to come and unlock it. Wouldn't have been so bad except that I was stuck in my empty apartment all day with no TV or food! That being said, I don't think this experience was reflective of their company or their service in general. It was an unfortunate mistake that anyone could have made. My daughter and son-in-law have used Dynasty Movers twice. The first time they were very pleased. The second time they were very displeased because the movers took much longer than the estimate which made the move more costly and then they didn't even finish the move. They simply said nothing and never returned and left them with a garage full of stuff that took my daughter and husband 2 days to move themselves. But the worst thing was that the movers folded their king sized mattress in half and tied it for the move which was totally unnecessary and unheard of. It broke the mattress and when it was unfolded it had a great big bulge because the inside mechanism of the mattress had been destroyed. My daughter and son-in-law have been calling Dynasty Movers for 2 months now about the damaged mattress bu the owner is too much of a coward to come to the phone or return a call and deal with this complaint. We have never had movers do anything for us and have been afraid to have someone come in and possibly damage or destroy our belongings. We were referred by a family friend and from the moment we got a call from David to confirm the appointment the day before and until Gene, Eddie, and Roy moved our things it was nothing but pure satisfaction. We didn't have to touch anything, they touched base with us on all large and small furniture and everything made it up the stairs without a scratch, and the carpets were left squeaky cleans. I cannot say enough good things about these three gentlemen and at that price they were practically working for lower than minimum wage. The person at the storage recommend this moving company to me and I decided why not give it a try. After reading all the yelp reviews, I was skeptical, but I still decide to give it a try since I really need to move. The manager that answered the phone was friendly and quickly set a moving date and break down the estimate cost for the move. You will have to pay for 3 hours even if it's under 3 hours, and they charge you every half an hour after the 3 hour timespans. I figure I was just moving some of my remaining furnitures and boxes (we donate many furnitures prior to the move, so there aren't that many things) to a storage that is 10 miles from my house, so it won't be bad. I WAS WRONG, it end up being 7 hours! They send 2 movers and a big truck over and they were on time. In the beginning, the movers were fast and trying to move things as fast as possible; however, they start slacking off afterward (probably after knowing it might take more than 3 hours). They did a good job wrapping the furnitures, but they are ROUGH on the moves (especially moving things downstairs). They even BROKE the stairs of my front door and the water cord connecting to the fridge. I understand things are heavy, but they are not gentle at all! Knowing that the stair is slightly old, I was going to let it slide. But there are more to come. Then they have to take apart my fridge to move it into the truck. They take apart the cabinet next to the fridge, and they almost forgot to put it back if I didn't remind them. After we finally arrive at the storage, they were chatting and taking their time to move things inside. I understand that the move will take over 3 hours, but 7 hours to move from A to B (10 miles) is ridiculous since we didn't have that many things. They didn't ask for tips like the other yelpers mention, but I did tip both of them in the end. However, I wasn't please and I will probably never hire them again. When they arrived they dismantled the bed within seconds and quickly navigated the furniture to the truck. Time for the appointment - He didn't show and didn't call - I took off work to be there. I called his office and spoke to Monica, she said he was out of the office and could take a message and have him call me. He didn't call by the next day so I called back, got him on the phone. He apologized for not showing up saying he forgot to put my appointment in his appointment book and made an appointment to come out two days later, again he didn't show and didn't call. I had a move scheduled for 12/11/11 at 7:00 am with some no name movers, well, they didn't show up. I had packed my computer and it was at the new place and my phone doesn't have internet. So, i asked my friend to help me find movers ASAP. She text me a few numbers and i went with Dynasty movers. They showed up in an hour of me calling them and got the job done nicely. They wrapped everything and took care of my furniture. I helped them bring stuff to the truck to make the time go by faster and they didn't seem to mind. They really rescued me on my bad day. Although a little pricy, it was worth it and the two guys that showed up were really nice and helpful. I have a storage bed that requires assembly and they took it apart and put it back together perfectly. I would use them again. They showed up around 9:40 and finished around 12:30, with a tip I paid $245.00. read more

These guys are pretty good. They moved me yesterday at the very last minute and I would use them again. I had hired another moving company with a high BBB rating and great references--I checked them. That "other" company, confirmed that they would arrive the next morning. Low and behold, they didn't show up and nobody was answering their phone from that company. I was stuck scrambling on a Sunday at 11:30 a.m. trying to find another mover. Dynasty Movers came to my rescue. Pros: *Absolutely NO damage to my old apartment or new house *NO damage to any of my stuff--including my expensive leather recliners. (I did keep a VERY close eye on them though.) *Available at the very last minute and had a crew at my door within 20 minutes of me calling them. A+++ As far as Pros go--I mean, this is kind of all you can ask for when moving your stuff, right? Cons: *Really slow driving. Apparently, their trucks are outfitted with some device that doesn't allow them to go more than 55 miles per hour. At least two other moving trucks were passing us. :-( But again, none of my stuff was damaged. *My two guys didn't really get along that great. It was a little uncomfortable to have one guy berate the other in front of me. Keep the personal drama outside of the work place, nomsayin? *Seemed a little slow at times. . .and it was a little pricey for two guys and a truck $80/hr plus an 8% fuel surcharge of the total. Doesn't double drive time kind of cover that? Again--this was last minute, so I accept that I didn't have time to shop around and negotiate lower prices. I probably could've been charged a lot more. . . Overall a good moving experience. I recommend them for orange county. read more

Dynasty Movers did a great job meeting my moving requirements. Not only were they available on short notice (2 days) but they defeated the challenge of fitting my 2 BR apt in an 8x10 storage space. Steve and Gary were very friendly and always asked how I'd prefer things be done and if I had no clue they offered suggestions. The company does call before to confirm and after to ensure the move went well. The only complaint I had was they arrived almost an hour after the scheduled time. I had a 1 bedroom apartment, moving from a 1st story in Corona Del Mar to a 2nd story in Long Beach. Based on a previous move, I guessed that they would take about 60-90 minutes to load and the same to unload, so a total of 3-4 hours including the doubled drive time, but it ended up being 6.5 billed hours. They were careful and wrapped up everything really good, but I wish they had hustled a little more. I also had an armoire that had a slightly broken door, that they ended up breaking all the way. I wasn't too concerned about it because the piece is old, but they didn't even acknowledge that they DID break something when I had to sign the paperwork at the end. Also, David, the owner, sounded extremely frazzled on the phone every time I spoke with him and they had to ask me twice about everything they were moving. I was nervous that they might forget me or be late, but the guys were right on time. If David reads this review: You should place customers on hold while you figure out what is going on around you. You would instill more confidence in your customers that way. read more

Had a great experience with dynasty movers. They moved me within an hours notice. Jerome and Brian were very polite and professional. They moved my stuff as quickly as possible in the 100+ degree heat. The price was fair and all of my items were handled with care and arrived at my new home in the condition they left my old home. Brian and Jerome offered to move my furniture around and asked where I wanted my boxes and things placed... Instead if just dumping everything and running. The move did take longer than originally quoted. Im sure it had something to do with the heat. I was searching the web for a place that would help me move from the IE to the OC and came across dynasty. I called and spoke to David and he was extremely helpful. He said that they would call me 24 hours before the move which did not happen, and they were late. However, when they did arrive they were fantastic. They were polite and very helpful. They do charge double for the distance. They were fantastic and couldn't be happier with the help that they gave me. I have used Dynasty Movers for the 5th time. I moved from Sacramento to Southern California (Inland Empire) and again Dynasty did a great job. They were thorough, gentle with the furniture at both locations. They kept me informed of arrival times at both sites as well. I had my items boxed and ready to go. Rundown of our experience with DM this past weekend: Our original movers who we had used before and were pretty good had to cancel on us - fine. I go on Craigslist to find another moving company who can hopefully take us on same day. I find Dynasty Movers - I give them a call. After some back and forth and giving them the details of the move they say they can have a 2 man crew to our house at 1PM. Waiting starts: 1:30 PM rolls around.. no movers... I call.. "they will be there at 2" 2:30 PM rolls around... no movers... I call.. "they are stuck in traffic, they will be there soon" Eventually they show up at 4 PM. As soon as the they show up the guy in charge, "Jerry", starts complaining about how our apartment is on the third floor. He is also mentioning how his back hurts from a moving job the other day. I am thinking "Ok why would they send me a mover with a bad back?" I can tell today is going to be difficult but I give them the benefit of the doubt. All boxes and everything else besides a couple big bedroom items are out near the front door ready to go. While they move the big items, I personally move all of the boxes, small furniture, etc. out to their truck. It is probably 50-60% of the work. Jerry mentions his back again. I mention NOT ALL items will be going up to the third floor, so please don't worry. We have a garage at our new apartment and we will be storing MANY things in the garage. He continues on about the third floor. We get the truck loaded up and head to our storage unit 10 min away. When we get there, wego up to the storage unit on the 2nd floor and I roll up the door. At the site of what's inside Jerry yells "Oh, F$%k NO!" and stomps off. I look at the other mover who just shrugs and rolls his eyes like "I don't know." He mentions that Jerry can act like this and there are other guys that won't work with him. I'm like OK... what the heck is going on here. Jerry comes back and starts to say something. I tell him that I am paying him for his time and that the inventory is not that far off from what I told the lady at their office. Jerry tells me once again that he has a bad back and if he would have known there was "this much stuff" he would have not taken the job this late in the day. I say "this late in the day?" you were supposed to be here at 1 PM!!! you were three hours late! He says how could he be at our place at 1 if he was up in Calabasas. I said I don't know you need to ask your boss. Which brings up another question. Why would their office tell me 1 PM if they were literally up in Calabasas? Jerry goes to the truck to get a picture of the outdoor chimney he moved the other day to show me as some sort of explanation. I just look at it ask him why he is moving if he has a bad back? He explains it's supposed to be a "light day" for him. Again, this is making no sense to me. I tell him "Fine, listen, let's just move this stuff to my apartment into the garage, we will take 2 big pieces up stairs. and we will call it a day." No answer. I say "Did you hear what I just said" - he says "yes" and walks away. At this point I am furious. It's time to go to our apartment. I get a call from the boss, "Dave". I tell Dave how upset I am, how is worker is cursing and dropping F- Bombs, how he is complaining his back hurts, how he doesn't want to move anything to the third floor, etc. Dave understands and thinks the weather is affecting Jerry and apologizes and offers to send out two guys to help the next day at 9 AM. I confirm 9 AM with him several times. We drop everything off at our garage and call it a day. We have no bed so we have to make other arrangements to sleep elsewhere. At the end of the day it come to be a 3 hour job + 1 hour and a half of double drive time. I owe ~$302. I will say the other mover, "Tim", was excellent! The next day rolls around and we drive to our apartment. 9 AM.. no one is here. My Fiance is pissed at this point since the lack of the job yesterday has put us behind with our plans. 9:30 AM I call and get ahold of Dave. He is trying to get some guys together to come out. Not sure why he didn't call me himself to give me a status update if they weren't going to make it at 9. A few more calls and pushing out the ETA Finally at like 10:40ish their movers call me and say they had a late start and will be here in another 30-45 minutes. At this point I say no thanks I am done. Dave calls me and I let him know what the movers said and to cancel the job and I am done waiting. Dave wants to offer a lower rate, but I would rather not even deal with this company at this point.They end up showing up at our apartment but we tell them no thank you and they leave. In the meantime I went and found 2 workers to help us move the items/furniture from our garage up to our apartment and it took LESS THAN 45 MINUTES. With NO COMPLAINING. It was AMAZING and a breath of fresh air! I will never use Dynasty Movers again and want to forewarn anyone else looking at using them. read more

I received a call from my original movers 10 minutes before they were supposed to show up saying that they weren't coming as their guys hadn't shown up. They referred me to David at Dynasty movers and while I called him panicking, he instantly put me at ease, gave me an estimate and assured me that 3 guys would be out to help in less than 2 hours. The guys were great! (Steve and Chuck - forget the other one's name). My apt is extremely tricky to move in an out of as was the place I was relocating to. They packaged everything securely and the whole job was done in less than 3 hours - extremely efficient! They were also great to communicate with and be around! The moving company I hired never showed up and gave me yet another time to come. I couldnt pay another days rent on top of my new place so I called around and Dynasty Movers said they would be there within an hour. They were at my old place and it only took 4 hours to get everything moved from my old apartment to my new one.
