I ordered 8 but could only stomach 4 of them because they were so salty. It's like they over salted the wings and then added the old bay. I was so disappointed. Other than the challenges of finding parking in South End in the evening, this was a perfect way to sit, have a drink, have a bite and simply enjoy being out. A beer for me, a can of something nonalcoholic for Mrs. K., and we got the spicy cheese fries. Lots of fries and lots of cheese (layered through, not just on top) and chopped jalapenos. My favorite bar to go to and people watch. It gets interesting after 7pm lol. I prefer going here during the day for lunch and you can choose from their full menu. I think their late menu starts around 10pm where it's mostly just a few sandwiches and a few apps. My go to is their wings and I always get a house salad. It was pretty chilly in the city when I came here with my mom while visiting my brother. We came here to have a beer. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone wanting to catch a game. It's a pretty big area and has a lot of seating. It was nice being one of the only ones here. I've walked past this place before in previous trips and have seen how packed it can get! You order food at the bar then you're on your own for finding an open table and retrieving your food from the kitchen window, which sits back and off to the side of the bar. We weren't sure how the ordering process worked because it wasn't obvious from the signage, or we missed it in all of the commotion. It's a hipster hangout spot for the 20-something crowd. We went on a Saturday around 5p, so it was busy and noisy. So, if you're looking for a sit-down sports bar type dining experience for the family or a "mature" couple, I don't recommend this place for that. My friends and I stopped into QC pour house this weekend after spending the afternoon visiting some breweries. The place was very busy, but we were still able to get served pretty quickly. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar and then we're able to grab a table for 6. The food came out within 15 minutes and everyone enjoyed what they got! The pretzel bites came with beer cheese which was really yummy and great to share. I had their buffalo chicken sandwich with tots and it came with a good amount of blue cheese (which I love) and a nice amount of buffalo sauce. Came in for a date night and basically felt completely ignored when we went to the bar to try to interact to see how it works at this particular location we were told nothing about the special that was going on we we're not helped and didn't seem like they were even interested in our business so we left. Overall I just think it was very poor customer service and the whole vibe of the area inside was just off. This is 100% the place to be on Sundays! I went to meet up with friends and watch some football & the atmosphere was awesome. Also, really liked that it wasn't a select team bar, there were fans of every football team there watching games. They have drink specials everyday of the week. I got the panthers punch, which was sour but good! Also, enjoyed the pretzel bites - easily some of the best bar food I've had in South End! On the inside, there really cool charlotte graffiti. However, not a ton of tables available- so be prepared to stand if you go on a busier day/night. For moving, they brought us complementary mozzarella bites, pretzel bites, and fries which was really nice. The mozzarella bites were my favorite. I love QC, it's one of my favorite bars in South End. They have plenty of TVs to watch a game. Big open windows to enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice, and plenty of seating and standing room. They have weekly specials which is nice. During the week when it's not as busy they have games you can play. On the weekend it can get pretty crowded. Although it closes by midnight on the weekends so it's not late night spot. I cannot recommend coming here to eat anything, only to drink. Also, as a 33 year old, I felt too old hanging out in this place which sounds like a crochety thing to say. The food was bad enough that I don't even feel the need to comment on it. Hopefully, things have changed since opening night. We visited on opening night and it was slammed, however, we did score a high top table. There's no formal waiter service so you place your order at the front for drinks and food. I ordered a cocktail and it was okay but when you're coming to a place like this, you're coming to socialize. It's conveniently located in the heart of South End on the corner of Tremont Avenue and Hawkins Street right down the street from Common Market (CM) South End, Bang Bang Burger, Sycamore Brewery, Hawkers, Shake Shack, Elsewhere, etc...It's in the core of South End. Atmosphere: QCPH always keeps the bar + restrooms + outside area immaculate. I never have to worry about fruit flies and just foul conditions because they keep it pure and unsullied. From the windows --- to the walls ---- QCPH is a place where you don't have to worry about a nasty environment. Staff: Probably some of the best staff in South End. Every bartender/bar-back/owner (J) are always not only professional and knowledgeable about their products, but all around amiable. Every time I go there, I feel like they are my family and you don't get that at a lot of places. I am a regular, but still, la familia for sure. Food & Beverages: 1-10....11+ for sure. They know their stuff. I've tried some of their items but my favorite by far, and the most original, are the hand-pies. So fu3kin' delicious and inexpensive for South End. Definitely worth the try. A fun hangout spot! I love the wide open windows with bar standing areas to people watch in south end. The murals and art inside are local inspired which is fun for photos. The draft beers were local and available for a great price. The side of fries for a quick snack came out fast and were really tasty. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful for our first visit. Corner bar in the heart of southend! Yes, there is a occupancy capacity due to covid and yes there is typically a line outside. But that means it's great, right? There is a walk up order section right once you walk in at the bar. Menus are online if you want to plan ahead. This sports bar shows all the games and has a food menu as well. Drinks aren't too overpriced and you can easily hang out for a while to watch a game or catch up with friends. Food wise, the sweet potato tots were very good and always a go to. The Club and the Italian sandwiches were just okay. The club I received had a soggy bun and I was left still hungry. The Italian didn't have a lot of meat on it and fell apart easily. Definitely plan to grab food somewhere else while you drink here. Word to the wise, the 3 single stall gender neutral bathrooms do typically have line when it's busy. QC pour house was the last and the first establishment I visited during the pandemic. I was there the day they closed their doors in March. And then came back the first Tuesday they were open. I personally enjoy it here because the location is fantastic. It's located in the southend with easy access from the light rail. Also, I just enjoy the environment. The building is open and spacious, with lots of open windows and plenty of seating. They also have free Wi-Fi. So it's nice to work here. The staff has always been very friendly. They have different drink specials throughout the week. I typically go on Tuesdays for their five dollar wells. I have not tried their food yet. But it is on the list. It is a great place to come and unwind. Have a few drinks, and get some work done. read more

Staff is super friendly and service is very quick. There are a variety of seating options from bar seats at the window, booths, tables for 2 as well as large tables to accommodate bigger parties. It can get pretty packed on weekends and during sporting events so I definitely suggest calling ahead to check if there's a line if that's something you're concerned about. If you're going on game day, you better be committed and get there early if you hope to have a chance of finding a table or stool to sit on, maybe you'll have a view of the game. Even if it's a road game this place seems like the hot spot for the South Enders. We got there 45 minutes before kickoff for the Panthers @ Packers and the place was slammed. Mostly with the casual football fans who want to hang out and drink and get educated by the true Panther Fans. Don't expect to find parking anywhere close. You'll need to walk 3 to 4 blocks. I would recommend an Uber or rent a scooter. Of course the place is understaffed and if you can't get a seat, don't expect to be waited on event if you stand at the bar, the staff isn't focused on getting you a beverage. It's new and trendy and if they don't up their game, they will soon be passed over for game day bars that understand they need to serve their customers.
