Great service! The employees were great, and persuaded me to try the Habanero Lime Steak, and it didn't disappoint. My family & I stopped in at this Qdoba location this past Friday evening. When we walked in there were 3 employees behind the counter. 2 of them were assisting a group of 3 customers. (1 employee standing at the register & the other actively making their food). The 3rd employee looked to be fulfilling online orders. Never once were we greeted. We didn't even get a "Hi, we'll be right with you..." We then overheard the employee at the register say that the 4th employee was in "In the restroom, like always..." at this point we were debating if we should stay to order food or not. We waited a few more minutes & still hadn't been greeted or anything & decided our money shouldn't be spent at this location. I love Mexican food and while QDOBA isn't necessarily authentic they have some of the best mexican-style fast food available. I love the setup of an assembly line for something like this because it's so easy to add, or not add, anything. The burrito bowl and burrito are both of my go-to's depending on the situation. I always get brown rice, chicken, black beans, corn salsa, fajita veggies, queso, and lettuce. If I'm going to eat it without an audience I get it in a burrito, if I'm with someone and don't want to embarrass myself and make a huge mess then bowl it is! They also have tacos and quesadillas which are all good as well. There are beef and vegetarian options if you're not into chicken and some other salsas as well as shredded cheese and sour cream. Their chips and queso, salsa, quac are an additional charge but worth every penny. read more

After a very long day at the race track all we wanted was some Qudoba. Arrived at 9:25pm, store does not close until 10 pm. Walking up to the door an employee came out and said that they could only accept online orders. We hurried and quickly put in our order on the app went to checkout and a message said they was an issue placing our order. It was now 9:40 pm. Went back to the door and was told by another employee that the stopped taking on line orders 30 minutes before they close! Such a horrible way to treat your regular customers. Wasted so much time that anywhere else we wanted to go, we now wouldn't make it there before they closed. If you don't want to stay open til 10 then change your hours! Putting everything up and at 9 and then lying to your customers is awful. I absolutely love Qdoba and prefer it over similar places. If it wasn't for this being the closest location and their day shift, I'd never go here again. The day shift at this location is wonderful it's the evening shift that is well just plain lazy. When you first walk in you notice how clean the facility is, which has always been important but is more important than ever. I have been there multiple times and every person employed there is kind and helpful. Especially Heather! Even with a mask, you feel her smile and positive energy. The food is as good or as bad as any Qdoba... I like it, especially what used to be the Mexican Gumbo and apparently now is the loaded Tortilla Soup... same thing, different name.... BUT the service here leaves a lot to be desired. There is usually one or two kids that are really friendly and helpful and the remainder has attitude, moves slow as molasses, like you are really bothering them by having the audacity to order something and making them abandon their conversation, which actually most of the time they don't even stop while 'waiting' on you. My husband and I were headed into qboba today. Sign on the door said no chips. We love their chips with our bowls and thought maybe we should go to chipotle. We decided to go in anyway and just eat our chips at home. They had several customers. There were only two woman on the serving line. They were doing their best but we could tell as we watched them help the others in front of us that they were short staffed and short on supplies. They continued to be kind, helpful, put the customer first when not all the costumers did the same in return to them. In talking to them the one was even there on her day off. Things in this world have become out of our control and employees control, so why treat them poorly? I commend those two ladies to keep smiling and serving. I'm a fan of Qdoba in general. There are several delicious vegetarian options, and the mango salsa they serve in the summer is fantastic. Their service is fast and the menu items are very customizable. I love that they have Vanilla and Cherry Coke on tap, along with juice in the cooler. I like the brownies and cookies by the register. I like earning rewards on my frequent-customer card and occasionally getting a free meal. I like mocking the headlines on CNN (or watching them, if something big is happening) and picking up the latest issue of Nuvo. I like that they have wi-fi. What's great about the Avon location, above the usual reasons to eat at Qdoba, is the fun and friendly staff. I come to this location the most, originally out of convenience, but now also because the employees always remember me (and often, my favorite menu items.) They remember my family and friends who come along. They joke around and make you feel welcome. One night in the summer, my friends and I sat on the side porch even after the employees had closed up shop, and they just waved and said goodnight as they locked the doors. Another time, when my mom and I were leaving at closing time, some of the cooks waited in their cars until they saw that she and I had gotten in our car and started it safely. I was so excited when we got coupons for Qdoba in the mail. That would soon change... Three star food, served up with attitude that makes me never want to come back. I came with two young children in tow - my hands were full. When asked what I wanted, I asked a simple question and got attitude in response. When I finally got my order put in, I was talking with the first employee about the kids' orders and another employee started asking me what I wanted on my order. The ordering process could not have been more unprofessional. The more they asked me, the more confusing it got as I was placing three orders at once. I was expected to know what I wanted to top off my tacos and at the same time I was being asked what side my kids wanted. They rushed me to my breaking point; all the while my kids were at my ankles. I caught up with them and realized I forgot to ask for salsa on my tacos. Asked the employee to add it and she slapped it on with a look that told me I was slowing her down. So sorry, 19-year-old, that I interrupted your work day by coming in. I promise, I won't do it again. At the register I was met with a smile - the first I had seen yet. After paying, I was expected to carry three plates and three drinks - without a tray or even an offer of assistance. The next person in line was being checked out as I made several trips back to pick up my food. My son's quesadilla had a pile of chicken in the middle of it. His chips were slathered in lime. My chicken was lukewarm. To top it off, the soda machine served the most disgusting Vitamin Water I've ever tasted. When I asked my husband, who came in later, how his tacos were, he cringed and said they were fine. We came to Qdoba excited for good food and fun family time. As a general proponent of the low-carb lifestyle, I stopped in Qdoba today for a naked burrito, hold the rice (and the beans)! In my bowl, I got a measly 1 & 1/2 spoonfuls of grilled steak (the tray was near empty - apparently I'm not worthy of the refill), half a spoonful of habenero salsa, and half a spoonful of queso. Look, I know that the rice and beans I omitted earlier are there for "filler", but seriously? My bowl was lookin' awfully sad. I got my nekkie burrito to-go, and without a drink my bill was $8.71! For something from a semi-fast food chain that weighed less than half a pound. I was re-thinking my purchase before I had even paid. The pieces scrounged from the empty meat tray were surprisingly fatty, and the queso lacked flavor. The habenero salsa was good though, and did warm my lips quite nicely. All in all, I'd give my "meal" (snack?) a solid C. I have no qualms with you, Qdoba. And I will probably be back (when my options are lacking), but I just can't justify spending $9.00 on something I could have made at home for 1/4 of the price that would have been tastier and more filling! read more
