On 6/28 a dear friend stopped in. He is disabled and they don't have curbside. While typically on a scooter he used his walker. A younger employee saw him came and opened the door. After taking his order since it was to go, this young man offered to help him back to his vehicle and said he would be glad to run it out to him. My dear friend was so impressed and wished he carried cash to tip. He remarked you do not see epic customer service anywhere these days, the fact it was the younger generation was even better. Love Five Guys, always great food and good service. This location is no exception. We stopped by for lunch, it was busy but everything was very organized and they were getting the orders ready quickly. I ordered my favorite, the veggie sandwich with cheese. Grilled mushrooms, green peppers, onions, topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, melted cheese, and mayo. The bun as usual was very fresh and good which makes a great sandwich. I love the Cajun fries, even the small size is more than I can eat by myself. The fries are always excellent, perfectly prepared, and served hot and fresh. I went to this 5 Guys recently and was charged $21 for a double cheeseburger, small fries, and a small drink. On top of that,they turned that pad around and wanted a tip. They didn't get one. I love their food, but I am not paying that. At these prices, I don't think they will be around much longer. read more

Not sure why i've been craving burgers or five guys in particular but here we are. i placed my order online. they have an easy online ordering system that allows you to customize every item you order from burgers to milkshakes. i ordered a lettuce wrapped little cheese, oreo milkshake and little cajun fries. five guys is a pricier burger joint as their ingredients are freshhh and they give you so many fries, def worth it. i placed my order and did most of my waiting in the car (because PANDEMIC) when you let the system know you're doing pickup at this location they have a button you press to let them know you've arrived. i pressed it and went inside only because typically they don't drop fries until you come in for freshness *i dislike this so much and it seriously defeats the purpose of preordering your food if you have to stand inside and wait. i dislike it the most at the downtown location as parking is terrible so usually i'm trying to scurry in and out* i go in and there's a few people waiting socially distanced and plenty of staff. the manager is yelling and tbh it's annoying and what caused the confusion and chaos. the inside was not clean like it should have been for only 2 patrons to be dining in. they somehow got behind and confused on orders and i ended up waiting 10min passed my ready time for my food. it became a mess with many of us standing around ppl only getting partial orders and they didn't offer any apologies to anyone waiting. overall the staff was nice, my food was correct and delicious, and my bag was over filled with fries. i will be back :) read more

I went around noon on a Thursday with some coworkers and was surprised we were the only customers there. All off the workers were so happy and friendly. I have always tried to avoid Five Guys because of what I have been told many times about their incessant grease on both fries and burgers. Grease is not so much a friend of mine anymore. This morning I had a real hankering for burgers, probably relating to a conversation about Five Guys last night and my not so sunny disposition towards them. HOWEVER. I went in with an open mind and was super surprised at all the toppings (grilled onions & mushrooms!!) which usually cost extra. I got the mini bacon cheeseburger & mini fries which ended up being the perfect mid-day portion. I usually get burgers medium well but this was a great well done burger. I wish I could've had a few more bites but for what it was I'll take it. The fries were a little too salty/seasoned for me but overall great. I love 5 guys and the chain never fails to deliver the best fast food. Buns are the what makes them different. But I was disappointed in this location because this is First wave of openings with COVID and only 2 workers wore a mask out of 8-10 people. It's not a good sign when I was there only a few days ago and don't remember much about my visit. That tells me that while nothing went horribly wrong, it wasn't stellar, either. I do remember that a "large" order of fries was big enough to feed a small army. And they have malt vinegar for the fries and free in-shell peanuts while you wait. So there's that. One major problem with the location. It is all windows and faces the sun in the evening. Thankfully there were not many people dining in (we saw a lot of carry out orders) because we snagged one of the few remaining tables in the shade. But today, unfortunately, our order was taken by a short white skinny man who I assume is the manager (the way he was treating all of his employees badly) was disrespectful the whole time my boyfriend and I were ordering. He sighed every time he had to ask us something and he kept rolling his eyes the whole time. If we were disrespecting him, I'd understand. But we have both worked in food services, so we're always polite. Then the food was just straight soggy. Five guys is an amazing chain that I don't get to very often. So this is a treat! The portions are enormous and the food is delicious. I asked for everything on my burger and got everything plus grilled onions and mushrooms. Yum! The fries are fresh and you can get them with Cajun seasoning added (which I did!) The ambiance is typical of a fast food restaurant but the music is awesome. The soda machine is one of those where you can get any coke product in whatever flavor you choose.
