I generally enjoy Qdoba and have 5-star worthy experiences, this time was very different. I walked to and from to get my Qdoba, being a car-less student at Indiana. After arriving home with my to-go bowl, I disocvered they neglected all 3 of the sauces I asked for. After catching a bus back and politely explaining to the worker what happened, they did not apologize, and they barely, and begrudgingly, gave me tiny containers of the sauce I originally ordered, refusing to place it on the bowl I brought back. Then, when I asked for a small bag to hold my sauces, a curly-haired, monotone man, who I always see working there, interrupted me before I could finish and said aggressively said no. I wish I had asked for his name to include here. Needless to say, I'll take my chances at either Chipotle in Bloomington senior year before coming back here. read more

I enjoy QDOBA especially with their app. I feel like I am always getting FREE chips and queso. My coworkers and I visit the Greenwood location frequently. They are busy at lunchtime so go early. Or order online and pick up. I recommend the Brisket, it's so good, juicy and tender. If you have a smaller appetite like me, ask for a small bowl and save a couple bucks. Sorry. Not sure if it is located downtown or what. As a road warrior and a frequent consumer, this one was well. Very lack luster. The flavor was blah, bland. As of some one missed adding something. Staff seemed mor interested in chatting with each other than listening to customer. I asked for chips and guacamole. They forgot to add it and bill me. This was my first time experiencing Qdoba. I would say the experience was beyond my expectations. Firstly, the ambiance was okay. The lights were slightly dingy, and the staff was okay, but overall it was clean. I will say the food was great. I got a bowl with chicken and steak. The steak had a great char and wasn't dry. The chicken lacked some flavor but was cooked well. The rest of the food combination I concocted was flavorful and had a blissful texture. Overall great meal and experience. If I had to relate my experience to an Olympian it would be Shaun White. Doesn't look like anything special, but once Shaun got going, you knew it was going to be an electric experience. read more

Spent $22 and found a hairy bug leg in my lettuce. The lettuce they put in my bowl was brown and nasty and it was the last bit of lettuce they had in their serving container. Spoke to 2 different people and there were no apologies at all. Everyone on here is comparing Qboda to Chipotle. I can't do that because I have never been to Chipotle. Gasp! I know. People think it's some kind of sin that I have never been there, but honestly with all the food poisoning that goes on there, I don't care to go. This was my first visit to Qdoba, and honestly, it was great. The only reason why my coworkers and I came here was because it was Spring Break for IU students and the traffic was slow enough during breaks that we actually get over to that side of town. They said they really like coming here but with the traffic and students, it takes more than the hour we get. The restaurant only had one other group of people, so everything went so quickly. I got three of their specialty tacos: Two Timer. Three specialty tacos for $9. This taco reminded me of the tacos I used to make for myself when I used to work at Hot Head Burritos in Evansville during my college days. (Hot Heads is exactly like Moes). They put queso in between the steamed soft shell and hard shell taco. In this queso sandwich, they put pork, pico, lettuce, cheese, and salsa. It tasted exactly like the tacos I used to make back in the day. The pork they had was exactly the same as Hot Heads', and it was sooo good. Some of my other coworks got nachos with the chips on the side and a burrito. The portions are huge and everyone enjoyed everything they got. At the end of my meal, I went back up to buy a cookie. I have finally returned back to the home of my favorite chips and queso. It has been wonderful. The service has been great, food has been made correctly, and I was able to get a quesadilla! Always clean and they do a good job giving you the proper proportions. Their line is always shorter than chipotle, and it moves faster too. The employees aren't all that friendly, but they do a good job. They also have a convenient table for their online orders, and they're rarely behind on them. read more

Why don't I come here more often for a quick, flavorful, nutritious meal? Excellent variety, great value, employees are fine--its time to review Qdoba. We end up at Chipotle more often than not, in part due to the large portions and the fundraisers (good job, Chipotle!), but frankly, I get tired of the same old thing, and it's expensive, and there is an obsession with carbon--the predominant flavor for chicken and for fajitas is burnt.! But this isn't a Chipotle review; it's about a better alternative. Did you know that you can get anything you want on your tacos? No extra charge? Beans (black or pinto), rice (seasoned white or brown), guacamole, steak or chicken or carnitas and I don't know what all, corn, sour cream, salsas of all sorts, cilantro, fajita veggies (not burnt!).... free quest! all of it, or whatever you like, they will put it on there for you, and it was $3.75. Total. And it was delicious. No extra charges for items!!! The chips (free with the burrito bowl!) were delish-fresh, salty with lime. Lime and lemon are complimentary by the soft drink machine. The burrito was huge, too. The chicken was great. My crew liked the decor, and the cleanliness of the restaurant, and appreciated the more personal build of the meal, compared with the impersonal production line of Chipotle. Higher quality and more up-market interior than Moe's (although without the salsa bar Moe's has), a bit industrial like Chipotle but warmer; this is our new quick Mexican family fix. I used to be in love with Qdoba. But after numerous hit and runs due to its extremely convenient location, I fear I will never enjoy another burrito from this particular chain. What's the problem? Let's start with the fact most of the ingredients taste like they've been left out for several days, at unsafe temperatures mind you, to possibly cut down on heating costs or something. For whatever reason, the end result are burritos that are bland, boring, and lacking in every department. Compared to its far superior family-owned competitors in town, it's probably the worst burrito in town. Reason: Asked for a cup water with my burrito on 10/1/15 at 2:42 AM (I informed them I would write a review before doing this). They told me it would cost $2.10(ish) for water because they ran out of "The Water Cups" and I needed to pay for "A Drink Cup". I informed them I was only interested filling the cup with water many times. They didn't seem to care much, "Sorry that's just our rules here". I only had $10 in cash. College town Mexican eatery supreme! Place order here type restaurant. From the very beginning the choices are myriad and the lads are right on their game. Here, sample this and this. We can do such and such. Pay at register, sit down and enjoy an amazing meal custom to your taste. Yum! I got the Two Timer Knockout Taco and it was delicious! They put some sort of warm queso sauce on it and it was my favorite part. The whole taco itself was warm, which honestly surprised me because the main competitor sometimes has some cold to their food. I did have to wait in line for a little while, but it was not necessarily that they were slow at ordering up and cashiering, but rather just busier with customers. This store rules I love buying my food here and just hanging out. I sit there for hours watching the tv and looking at apps on my phone. I don't tell anyone but sometimes I eavesdrop on other customers. Usually they're only mildly interesting conversations but I just like the sounds of people's voices. This place is close to work so I'd go on lunch break and often pre-order. I really liked the food at most Qdoba's but the service here is horrible. I've been there 10+ times and it's just gotten worse every time. If you pre-order they're guaranteed to mess up your order- every single time. The other half of the time they're out of almost everything or close over an hour early due to "computer is down."
