Yesterday was my cheat meal and decided to have a Naked Chicken Taco Bowl and the tortilla soup. The bowl was without the shell with romaine lettuce, griiled chicken, black beans(black bean corn salsa is no longer available), pico de hallo and fat-free picante ranch dressing on side and tortilla soup. Annoyed is an understatement. I put in an online order before leaving work on their website. Went to pick up to notice when I got home (live 30 minutes from this location) no brisket was in my bowl when it clearly stated it on the easiest to read paper print out of my order. It literally tells them EXACTLY what to put in the bowl. It isn't rocket science. I called them to tell them, I hear the guy telling the employees that I was missing brisket and that they need to be checking the orders, which to me sounds like this is an ongoing issue and I wasn't the only one. My wife and I absolutely love this place. THEY HAVE A BAR. Happy hour prices are on point as well! If you order drinks you get free chips and salsa. Bucket of beers, frozen or on the rocks margaritas, they have plenty of great options. Some times when they are backed up I've had bartenders leave the bar area to pitch in with the regular crowd... but nothing egregious as a few other reviews mentioned. I love the burritos, they stuff them full of everything you like and nothing you don't. It's nearly the size of a small baby- yum. If you aren't a big eater the child's nachos are a great choice. This was my 1st visit at this location and it was a positive experience. My cashier Courtney greeted me with a smile and told me about the survey inwhich they don't always mention the survey at other locations. The person that made my quesadilla was Deb and she did a fantastic job-taking her time to make sure my quesadilla was nice and neat just the way I like it...I totally dislike when they just throw the ingredients on the tortilla, But, Ms.Deb took her time placing the chicken, cheese and pico nice and neatly...the taste was nice and fresh!!! I didn't think I would like Qdoba, but I am happy to now have one in the area. I don't care for Chipotle at all, don't see the hype. I'm not super into Mexican, so if i'm getting it I want to get the good quality stuff, not fast food. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Qdoba, We have been here a few times now and each time the food has been great, It is definitely higher quality than these other fast food Mexican places. I usually get a quesadilla, my fiance usually gets nachos or a bowl. We haven't had a bad experience here, the service is competent and fast. The best part about this location is THEY HAVE ALCOHOL!! I've never had a drink there, because this location is by my work, but I'm assuming it's for the college students. This place is clean with fresh foods. I like to mix two meats into my burrito. Offering better than average fast food Mexican food with an added twist of a full bar, Qdoba is a welcoming addition to Bryn Mawr. With Chipotle, El Limon, and now Qdoba all within a mile or two, this area is becoming a regular fast food Mexican mecca. Of the three, I still need to give the edge to El Limon, but Qdoba is a close second (poor Chipotle is dead last, especially the terrible location in Ardmore). What makes this Qdoba location so interesting is the addition of a full bar inside. I didn't get a chance to glance at the drinking menu other than the list of Margaritas, but what an interesting twist for a fast food location (this should make this a popular spot for college students). I tried the taco salad with the Tequila Lime Chicken (a little south of $10), and it was really good. The chicken was well seasoned, the ingredients were fresh, and the taco shell was light and not greasy in the slightest. It was a ton of food and the staff was very pleasant. Overall, Qdoba comes to the Bryn Mawr restaurant scene fully loaded, and it's sure to be a popular alternative to it's nearby competitors. read more

A Disappointment, but Not the Food I really enjoy Qdoba food and I used to love this location but not anymore. I ordered food line and set it for immediate pickup. I didn't get there until 45 minutes later due to being stuck at work. The food was still not ready. I'm about 10-12 mins away and I needed to be back by a certain time for an important meeting. They began prepping my order upon my arrival but they were also in the middle of their lunch rush. I took a seat and hung out for awhile assuming they'd call my name when it was ready. I gave it 20 mins because that was the longest I could wait since I had to get back for a meeting. I finally went up to the register but in the midst of the rush, I was completely ignored. So I just stood there and it was obvious that I was just trying to interject quickly to the cashier to ask about my order but she completely blatantly ignored me and just took the next customer. Unless she was both blind and deaf, there was no way she would've missed me. She didn't even look my way. Finally about 10 mins later, a customer finally stopped and let me hop in front of her where she couldn't ignore me. I told her my order and she went back to check. Apparently the order had been ready for "awhile" but no one thought to check to see if I was still around. That made no sense to me, at all. And yes, I was late to my meeting. Never ordering online from this place, especially during the lunch rush, ever again. read more

I'm giving this QDOBA location a one star not because of the food, but because of the customer service experience I have constantly received at this location. I have been to this location multiple times (currently and in the past) and I must say the recent staff crew need training on customer service. I have had situations where staff debate over who would attend to the customer and or chit chat amongst themselves and other staff who are clocking out while attending to customer with customer's plate wide open beneath them. This singular act alone poses a health risk to me because they don't wear mouth guards. I also find the chit chatting to be very disrespectful as they always tend to forget to educate the customer on certain deals that might be misread or misunderstood by the customer until payment due to how engrossed they are in their private chit chats. If you really want to eat at Qdoba, I would advice to go to a different location or order over the app and pickup at this location because the customer service here is nothing to write home about. read more

Someone told me this is the only QDOBA with a bar in it. Is this fact? Unsure. But does it elevate this location? Yes. This place is the cute-siest QDOBA I have seen. Let the record show I have only ever been to one other QDOBA. Think Chipotle's industrial aesthetic plus a bar and a patio overlooking scenic Lancaster Ave. The margaritas during happy hour begin at $3 and they are dangerous/delicious/maybe don't have more than two. If you are college aged/ look college aged it's a good idea to bring two forms of ID because they will ask for it. Wouldn't normally pick QDOBA over Chipotle but lure of the bar made it worth it. The food was good! Not a huge fan of the Impossible Burger they offer as the vegetarian protein option but it's still nice that they offer it. read more

Went in 2 weeks ago. Ordered on the app. Waited 30 minutes and was told it was ready to pick up. Went into the store to pick up meal and waited 10 mins. It Wasn't ready. I had to cancel the order. I NEVER received my $15 back. Charged my card. The manager said to wait 3-5 days. It was never refunded. I called customer service and the store. Not one offer to fix the error. Local hotspot for families and college students. Love that they have a bar with happy hour M-F from 5-7. Margaritas aren't bad for as cheap as they are. I love QDOBA because it tastes so fresh, my only issue with the chain in general is that their bowl does not allow you to get the amount of food that you would get at Chipotle. When I originally went to Qdoba, I was sort of apathetic to the whole idea of it and thought they were just another Chipotle rival. When I went to this location (in Bryn Mawr) I had Qdoba and the experience differed from another location. From the first time I went to this location to now, I have been consistently satisfied with the food and thought it was fast food prices with better than or comparable fast food quality food items. You can't go wrong with any of the toppings here! I always the get the burrito and the service is usually pretty accommodating and double-wrap it (if needed). In addition, the service is pretty prompt. This location is far superior to the locations of Chipotle and the other Qdobas nearby and the overall experience is better. This is a great place to have in the Bryn Mawr community for cheap Mexican after El Limon (which is a tad better) and serves a good Chipotle-style burrito. Recommend if you are in the Bryn Mawr community for cheap CYO burrito. read more

Normally a pretty decent quick meal. However, last couple times the quality of the meal was awful. This time, the rice was so salty I could taste the ocean. The veggies tasted pickled even though they're supposed to be grilled. Our burrito had all the meat at the very bottom. Our bowl was supposed to be double steak and barely had x1 steak. Im a huge Qdoba guy. The rewards app says Ive been there nearly 100 times. Ive always loved their service, portions, and quality. Recently however, the experience has not been the same. The portions are a joke and it is clear that the management is trying to make a greater margin off the customers. I went to get a bowl a couple days ago and literally got a half of a portion of rice and the smallest dab of guac. The guac has also been very bitter lately and does not seem as fresh. Management needs to tighten up because they are starting to care more about their cash flows than giving the customer a filling meal that uses quality ingredients. I am going to write this review in two parts... Food and friendliness of the servers.. For fast food type Mexican, I think the food is very good.. I have been here approximately 4 or 5 times since it opens... The service is fast, they have parking, which is a huge plus... For basic, corporate food the quality and consistency is good.. Now my huge pet peeve, which will actually probably make me less inclined to frequent this restaurant... In the 4 or 5 times I've been there, I've never seen a single employee/server crack a smile or make you feel welcome.. They are reasonably quick, but it would not hurt them to. Are the customer feel welcome, thank them for coming... You know, "service with a smile" there are enough burrito places close by that serve high quality food, if I don't feel appreciated as a customer I will take my business else where where I can at least receive a smile and a thank you for spending my money there read more

I can't rave enough about this place! The workers are all so friendly and I'm obsessed with the Coke freestyle machine. I came at 9 an hour before it closes and the employees who are absolutely miserable were already cleaning up and when i went to place my order the employee rolled her eyes at me because she had to take things back out. She then proceeded to whisper questions to me and act annoyed when I could not hear her. As the line grew longer more employees came to help with more attitude. They skimped on all parts of the order giving barely any meat or toppings and then proceeded to throw my food into the bag and not even ask me if i wanted a receipt. I am so thankful for QDOBA, and I am astonished it took me this long to make it to this new location that is on my route to work. Each QDOBA experience is consistently of great, fresh quality, and with the addition of a FULL BAR AND MARGARITA SPECIALS, what else could I want in this world???? Found a large, sharp chunk of plastic in my friend's food. When he went up to attempt to discreetly let them know at the register, 2 employees walked right by him and 3 made sure to keep there conversation going behind the counter to ensure they didn't make eye contact. He finally had to get there attention, which in turn got the attention of the other customer standing there. Instead of this being a discrete exchange, now another customer has heard what had happened while standing there with her family. They looked at the large chunk of plastic in his food, handed it back to him, and told him to get back in line for a new bowl. Now the line has grown to about 4 people. My friend had to wait in the back of the line, holding his old bowl, waiting to get food uncontaminated with plastic pieces due to whatever the workers had let break-off into the food. read more
