Crispy tortilla chips get soggy in packaged salads. How can Chopt NOT know this? This gives their Southwest salad the 'ick factor' in my opinion. Mini bags of tortilla strips on the side would be a great alternative. read more

We ordered a Cobb and Greek salad. Disappointing! If there is no salad place other than this, think about skipping the meal. Mine was topped with a crushed gob of avocado, a tasteless dressing and wilted lettuce. The slice of bread was a throw away. Hers was the Greek with Feta (ok), tomatoes, avocado and a gooey mess. We ordered lunch for a group and nobody had a good meal. My salad was so slimy with the lettuce I had to throw it away. I tried a wrap and it was just mushy lettuce, soggy tortilla pieces and some sauce and shredded cheese. I never like to waste food and could not eat any of this. read more

I was in Bryn Mawr this afternoon and wanted to grab a quick healthy lunch. So I stopped in at Chopt. To start, the service was really friendly and upbeat. You can order and customize your salad at the kiosk. Easy order. The food came out pretty quickly and it was very good. Fresh delicious ingredients and great salad dressings. I loved the way the ingredients were literally chopped, not sliced or shredded. Especially the carrots! I'm taking a star off because I felt that the food was pricey, costing a few dollars more than expected for these products. Not outrageous, but a tad high in price. Nevertheless, I would definitely return. read more

Saw this as a fresh salad and wrap place. Had lunch today and after figuring out the order kiosk ordered an oriental wrap and raspberry seltzer. Took a seat and my name was called in about 10. I was surprised that the wrap folded like a burrito wasn't cut in half. I went to the counter and asked them to cut it and was told that they weren't permitted to. Odd but the nice polite young guy gave me a plastic knife. It worked but quirky. Nice and clean, although my table hadn't been wiped. The wrap was good but should have had a sesame dressing. The food was phenomenal. I had the fried chicken wrap. It was huge. I held it wrong and the topping fell out. It was a mess so I had to put it back together again. Next time I won't make that mistake. Better than cava no doubt. Only reason for the 4 star is the order kiosk. It was my first time there. A little confusing. This place is very convenient, quick and easy. You place your order at the kiosk, or you can order online for pick up. They have a lot of variety and customizations you can do. All ingredients tasted fresh. I got the falafel wrap thing, delicious, and I ordered the individually wrapped cookies to reward myself for eating healthy. The portion was massive. I ate half my wrap for dinner and the other for breakast because I couldn't wait for lunch. Still had crunch to it, no next day sogginess detected. First to Review!!!!! I've been to every Chopt in the Tristate area and for the first time ever I get to tell you about it FIRST! This is my spot nationwide. I've eaten it all and today I am here to tell you all about it. This one is a little different as there is no counter ordering, just 4 kiosks to order from with the whole menu in pictures. I took my time and went through everything and settled on a custom craft. This salad has been crafted with years of research and to me is the one and only that I will eat for my final meal on death row. Grilled Chipotle chicken, Bacon, Avocado, Pickled Onions, Pumpkin seeds, Goat Cheese, Crispy Shallots and Walnuts. Crunchy, Creamy and with a heavy portion of Mexican Caesar and fresh squeeze of Lime is simply divine. Do not pass this place up as it will make you feel full but not full so that you can rock the second half of your day. They have a TV that tells you when your order is ready and then you can pick it up in one of their marked cubby holes. I hope you all enjoy this chain as much as I have these past few years.
