First and not our last visit! Excellent ambience, beautiful and elegant decor, very clean. The staff was courteous and efficient, they took extremely good care of our party. We started at the bar and enjoyed our delicious cocktails. Dinner and appetizers were very good.

No form of leadership nor directions a tru dumpster fire

The 5 star reviews are friends and family members of the owners. The train wreck at the Restaurant is many things, poor management, clueless of how to run a Restaurant, over priced food, dirty Restaurant and the fact of the short cuts they are using, marrying liquor and charging $$$ . Go see the train wreck at the train station Restaurant !

Scallops with mushroom and pea risotto.

Birthday dinner review for my mom! I had previously enjoyed dining in this location when it was Tango (https://www.yelp.com/biz/tango-bryn-mawr-2) and was sad to see it go despite curving upwards to 4 on a 3.5-star leaning. But the more I read about the live music, happy hour, brunch, and good dining vibe that The Pullman was offering, the more intrigued I was to give it a shot. While our dining experience was top-notch, I can only curve to 4 this time around because I have to take in that music, happy hour, and brunch before I can curve higher. The main dining room still has that great view of the incoming trains, and they really improved upon the bar & lounge interior which makes you visualize it as perfect happy hour and music-viewing spot. For drinks it was hard to pass up the refreshing Paper Train cocktail with Dad's Hat Rye whiskey, aperol, amaro, and lemon juice. I also appreciated the rotating mix of beers on draft and can which led to me finding a Keystone State of Mind collab brew between New Trail and Other Half. For food we first enjoyed the tuna nachos which was more of a tuna crudo served on a good-sized chip with all the fixings. For dinner, the pan-seared scallops with wild mushroom risotto were buttery perfection, and the lychee creme brulee added a bit of a fruity kick to a timeless classic. With it being a good bar spot to watch a game or take in a happy hour, a great dining destination, and a good spot for live tunes I'll definitely be back!

Ate here again tonight for the second time. As much as we loved the first meal, this meal was…read moresomehow...better. Service: each person with whom we interacted (hosts, manager, food runners and especially our server...she was fantastic). Food: For the table, we got Calamari: very light and crispy, but the meat was nice and tender Pepperoni and soppressata pizza: excellent, with an amazing sauce, sausage and crispy outside tender inside crust. Dinner: The kids both got the Rigatoni Vodka. This is what I had the first time we visited. It was just as delicious. Packed with flavor and the sausage was perfect. Tender, and just a touch of heat. My wife got the Gemelli. A pistachio pesto - this was probably the best pesto I've ever tasted. Creamy, fill of flavor and a touch of acid that brightened it up nicely. Incredible. I got the Bucatini Amatriciana. Pomodoro sauce with guanciale. Blew me away. The pomodoro was unbelievably well balanced. Exact amount of sweetness, slightly acidic and the guanciale brought the salty note, in the form of crispy crunchy bacon flavor, but surprisingly tender. Blown away. We had to try dessert. Tiramisu: it was as good as expected. Very well made Vanilla Panna Cotta: this was exceptional (like pretty much the rest of the meal) delicate and creamy, and a huckleberry compote (?) that was insanely good. A touch of salt was in there to make it positively sing. I could not more highly recommend giving this place a try. Absolutely the whole package. Loved it and will be back!

Carina Sorella was soooooo worth the drive!…read more We started with the calamari , it was perfectly prepared, beautifully seasoned and served with a lemony aioli that was delicious. For my main course, I had a crispy fried chicken cutlet topped with a perfectly dressed Caesar salad (not on the menu but absolutely worth asking for). I believe it was around $31 and worth every bite. The frosé was spot on too but order it as soon as you sit down so it has time to reach that perfect consistency. The service was amazing . Everything was on point. I'll definitely be back!

The bar literally has a phone booth in it. It's totally unique and is a staple in the area. The bathrooms are a little funky, but it's all part of the experience. The beers are cheap and the hot dogs are delicious. This is a great place to stop after work for a bite. It is a smoking bar, so thats something to consider, but I didn't find the smoke to be too overwhelming around happy hour. Lots of character! Check it out

There's a strange-looking critter up top along with just random stuff riddled around the bar, and a bunch of popular beers on tap. All the staff were really friendly (shout out to Kevin!), and they were on top of keeping drinks filled. I also ordered some food - a double smash burger and some fries. Both were really tasty - that burger was really juicy! Great fixings on that burger, but it's a bit on the small side, so if hungry, probably a good idea to order the extra patty. Fries were really good too. They take cash or card, and they hold on to your card in a cup near the register until you close out - not what I've usually seen, but makes sense, I suppose. I'd return for another hangout with the guys! Kevin, come toss some discs with us!

We decided to stop at The Grog Grill which I had only been to once before in the 23 years I've lived in the area. I recalled that at that time, the Grog burger had been named best of the Main Line so I tried it and thought it was definitely not the best burger. The service was excellent, the pub environment was pub-like, we were seated at a high top at the back of the restaurant and next to a door to to the outside which made it very cold! I wore my heavy coat the entire meal. Cobb salad - 3/5, I think it's hard to mess up a cobb salad, but this was just okay. Tons of bacon bits and not a lot of salad greens, almost like a deconstructed salad which is weird for pub food. Mushroom flat bread - 3/5, just okay What redeemed our lunch was that when we asked for the check, our lovely server told us that the older gentleman at the bar had taken care of it along with the checks for several other patrons that day. That's never happened to me before! I will need to pay it forward...just maybe not at The Grog Grill.

Roll, meat, and cheese, it's a cheesesteak. It's not going to win any cheesesteak contest, but this was a great stop. Friendly, professional bartender. Bar and table seating. The Brisket Chopped Cheese comes on a very nicely made and toasted seeded roll. The meat was very good. It may have been better in a pile and eaten with a fork. It came with cole slaw and spicy aioli. They added a ton of great flavor. I liked my beer. I considered getting a second one. The guy next to me told me he liked my shirt, so he won a t-shirt. We picked La Cabra for a late lunch for no reason other than we had never been there before. There were more people inside than we anticipated so we bellied up to the bar and began asking questions. The bartender was fantastic. Not only did he let me taste a couple of house beers before I made my selection, he recommended different items on the menu.. all which turned out to be great. We started with the buffalo chicken dip. Loved it! It had great flavor.. smoky... with lots of chicken and great thick corn chips. While we worked on the appetizer, we struggled over sauce selections for our sandwiches. Our fab bartender were offered us samples of all of them. I loved the pit sauce. They are all housemade.. and so good, we took home the leftovers. Beware the dangerously spicy one though. It can take your lips off but it goes great with a beer. We ordered pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Both were moist, tender, infused with smokieness.... so good, I asked about the smokemaster. It turns out there are two La Cabras. One makes the beer and this place handles the smoke so we made an excellent choice in locations. We also got cole slaw, beans and mac-n-cheese. The cole slaw was crisp, very fresh. They made a very different take on beans. Large smoky beans and no gooey sweet BBQ sauce. The mac-n-cheese was a massive hit and if you love this dish, they have entree size takes on it. By now we were full, very happy and feeling a bit guilty that our kids missed such a great meal. We ordered dirty chocolate pudding as takeout and La Cabra went all in. The kids loved this chocolately cakey pudding that came complete with gummy worms. We will definitely go back for more and maybe tonight now that I have remembered how great the food was, thanks to this review.
