After I asked for the refund, an employee brought my meal about four minutes later and apologized, explaining they were out of syrup and butter for the pancakes. These kids are so lazy nowadays and ignorant, have no type of customer service at all and i'm just genuinely confused as to why an employee like this would be hired in the first place but sadly it usually starts with the managers allowing this.
