Alright so I had this review brewing before I even put food in my mouth. Why is it uncomfortably warm in here? Why are there 5 visible employees that have these unwelcoming faces, eager to rush us out the door already, we are the only ones here. And then same thing down the whole line. Is it to rush back to get on their phones and stand there and stare at nothing, or like the guy I watched him rub his hand to his nose all the way up to his shoulder and then continue to stand there ready to touch something! Like wow. And had the food as close to the edge of their side of the register and having me reach all the way over to get everything. So I won't be returning. This the best kept secret in Knoxville. You feel like family when you walk in. 1-1-22 My my family and I were craving some Mexican food and wanted to try somewhere new. I took my daughter with me to Qdoba. I can't say enough good things about the employees that work there; The 2 guys there tonight were so sweet to my daughter. It made my night and warmed my heart. They gave her a little treat which I thought was over the top because her birthday was on Christmas. I wish I got their names because they really should be promoted or recognized for being outstanding employees. Now about the food. It was delicious; the pork salad I got was flavorful and fresh. My daughter got the kids meal which happens to be free on Tuesday and Saturday which was also an awesome treat. We get to the cashier her name was Abigail (same as my daughter)... very helpful and also also a pleasure to talk to. We don't eat out very much after the pandemic because the overall service and the food quality has been in sharp decline. But I'd recommend this place to anybody. Keep up the good work. I got the burrito bowl it's similar to chipotle and salsa Rita's but almost no fillings in it. Small portions the food was okay but not spectacular, maybe if you try something else it may be better. We stopped here as a road trip through Knoxville because we have missed Qdoba SO much. The staff was super friendly, but the servings were pitiful. Not even a full scoop of protein or rice in my burrito. The dining room was empty (we stopped at 7pm), but most tables were dirty. Qdoba Mexican Eats I wanted to take my shoes off, before entering Qdoba Mexican Eats Restaurant. The floors and the entire dinning room were extra clean. My son orders the chicken burrito bowl, with Mexican style chips and fruit punch. They made each fire grill chicken right in front of us, with all fresh ingredients. We add Qdoba creamy 3-Cheese Queso and hand-mashed Guacamole to our order for our Mexican style chip at no extra cost. Qdoba Mexican Eats has the cleanest dinning area and kitchen on the planet, the restrooms was spotless. I don't recommend coming here for a burrito for veggie heads. My veggie burrito only had beans, cheese, white rice with cilantro. Where are the vegetables? How is this called a veggie burrito? 90% rice. On the bright side, their cheese dip and guacamole with chips were addicting. I had three tacos and again there was almost zero beef in them. I would say a table spoon of meat. Meal was $60. I would have rather paid the same money and gone to a local Tex-Mex restaurant. I asked when it would be ready and was told about 7. Okay. I went to run a quick errand and came back at 7. He then told me he was working on my order and it would be ready by 715. Really?? So I went to my car to wait and all of a sudden the doors are being locked and they turn off the open sign. So many people were there to pick up togo orders. He came out and told everyone they had run out of food. This is a terribly run business. Yes, we are in crazy times, but just be HONEST and tell me when I get there at 630 my meal will never be ready instead of stringing me along and lying to me for 45 minutes as I patiently waited. Woohoo! Used to have two of these in my hometown. Found one on Kingston Pike in Knoxville. YES! It was so nice to get a naked steak and pinto burrito with the flour tortilla on the side. The two star rating is for the food and the food alone .. Thought of trying out this place with my husband who isn't very familiar with Mexican food ( which I now regret). There was this one lady staff who was extremely rude .... Me and my husband ordered two different things so while I was letting the other staff know what I wanted on my order , this other lady was preparing my husbands order..she wasn't helpful in any way , she made frustrated and rude facial expression through out which kind of made us loose our appetite. I thought this place was tasty. Qdoba has some very healthy options unlike other places of this variety and the service was much faster than their competitors. The burritos were a tad sloppy with just the right amount of beans and rice and the meats they use are good quality and everything else seemed fresh. The Craft 2 menu is a great way to sample a little more fare and the portions are smaller making it a great lunch place. They also have free drinks (non-alcoholic unfortunately) on Fridays unitl 5pm. Qdoba is my favorite fast casual mexican! The food is always tasty and delicious. My favorite entree is the pulled pork taco salad. The queso and guac are not extra (like the other places) so it is also cheaper to eat here! I love that it has the coke freestyle machine. Freestyle machines are the only way I can get Diet Barq's. If it was closer to me I would probably eat here twice a week at least. It is quite a drive for me but it is worth it. I have tried a lot of the menu and have never been disappointed. read more

Friendly service, good fresh food, clean restrooms, but we tried to come on memorial day, called in advance and they said they were open normal hours. Got there 1 hr later and found that they decided to close because "things were slow today." Seriously? Ive never seen a business do that. I love Qdoba but will not visit on holidays anymore! As slap and wraps go, they're not bad. Nobody in Knoxville I have found can wrap a burrito that will stay together. My favorite item on the menu is the naked burrito. You can go as healthy as you like with this, since you're not going to be eating the tortilla. They'll put whatever you want in your bowl. You've got three types of sauces from mild to (In my opinion) mildly hot. The place is clean. The service is friendly and they're good for a quick meal. read more

I used to live and die by this place, but Chipotle is better. One positive thing about Qdoba is that the extra hot salsa is quite hot, considerably more so than Chipotle. The extra hot salsa does lack body, but if you combine it with the hot salsa, it's a pretty nice combination. The tortillas are of lower quality than Chipotle, and the ingredients don't seem as fresh. read more

My husband and I eat here at this location twice a week lately. Absolutely love it! Recently was there and decided to change it up (I usually get the chicken taco salad) I ordered a chicken burrito. I have to say first I'm not the biggest fan of soft tortillas but my husband raves about them its the only thing he gets. It was wonderful, hot, fresh, rolled perfect (I assume), extremely filling. I'm not going to give one star because the condition of the restaurant tonight is out of character from past experience. However, every vacant table was a mess. That's not an exaggeration. We had to wipe down our own table. There was trash everywhere on the floor and nobody behind the counter seemed to care. Also, at least half of the drinks were out of service on the machine. I'm hoping this isn't a sign of things to come. May be a while before we come back, though. And this is in our regular rotation.
