My friend and I stopped here on our way to a conference for lunch. I have never been to a Qdoba and she loves, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Qdoba is like tex-mex lots of fresh ingredients and many different options. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the taco salad bowl. I had the option of a taco shell bowl or not. I chose no taco shell bowl. On e you make your decision you then get to choose your toppings. I loaded up on fresh veggies, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Soooo good! Burrito Bob was making my bowl, and when they ran out of shrimp, he gave me a serving of steak instead but later brought out the extra shrimp when it was done at no extra cost. Upon ordering a fairly small order, the girl that was on the drive through was pretty rude, I'm not a fan of someone saying "what" like I'm bothering them. While the wait time was long, I can understand it as people are short staffed but I don't abide general rudeness. This location is one of the only Qdoba locations with a drive-thru. I rarely use it as I typically go to Qdoba with my family. And, they are in love with the Coca-Cola freestyle machine that allows them to pick from more than 100 soda flavor combinations. Menu - This location has the standard Qdoba menu. Qdoba recently changed their menu. I'm not a fan of the new format, but I've left my comments and hope they go back to the original menu soon. You can still get some of your old favorites (Craft 2 - a mix and match of items) if you ask. When this location opened, they had fabulous customer service. It's decreased some since they opened and have had some turnover. My biggest complaint is that when I am there with the kids. The kids start ordering their meal. (Note - all meals are made in the "Subway-assembly-line" fashion). Then, they will start making my meal. It's not long before I have someone asking me about the contents of Kid 1's meal, someone asking me about the contents of Kid 2's meal, and someone asking me about my meal. And, they are all giving me that annoyed look that I am not responding to their question first or quickly enough. We always go back because it's something that the family can agree is good. They have healthy options (burrito bowls and soups) for those watching calories and carbs. And, they have kids meals with various sides. Very impolite staff, if you ask about the freshness of the rice they give you an attitude. No one greeted me or said "thank you/have a nice day" anything as I left. I went here at dinner time for a to go order on a Saturday, not busy at all compared to Chipotle at the same time. I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at the Neenah. WI location tonight. Placed my order through the app. Went to pick up the food and checked the receipt. Everything was fine. Got home and one of my kids did not have his food. I called for a refund for the missing food. I was told that refunds are not given. But I can come in next week and get FREE TACOS. Yes. They are giving me free tacos NEXT WEEK since they did not give me the tacos I PAID FOR today!! Are you frickin' kidding me?!?!? I did ask to speak to a manager but they were "in the bathroom. I usually frequent Chipotle but decided to give QDOBA a try for dinner. Not impressed from the start...A young woman said someone would be with me in a moment while I stood there and waited and waited for the young man to put on his gloves slower than a turtle. Hair hanging almost in his face below his cap. I ordered the bowl and asked for brown rice, the brown rice was not fresh and I asked for fresh. He stated he did not know how long this would take...after some time I did get fresh brown rice. I asked for chicken which was tasteless and full of grizzle. Chips were included which were not fresh either. Needless to say for my first visit and probably my last visit not impressed. None of the staff seemed interested nor in a RUSH to assist. I had an issue with my quesadilla from here two days ago. Looked like a burrito bowl with a tortilla. I couldn't even eat it as a quesadilla. So I was upset and called. They said come in for a free one. I get there, in the drive thru and the lady was very rude to me. I don't know her name and no receipt (as it was complimentary for their previous mistake). So I'm in the drive thru and she's asking me what I want, queso salsa and sour cream and guacamole. I said what about the rice and beans? She goes well you didn't ask me for that. I'm like you didn't ask ME. she said because it doesn't come with it and that's probably why my last one was such a mess. I'm like ok sorry. And then I asked if I can just have a burrito instead and she said well I already made it. That's what we do here. We make it as you order like subway. I'm like ok I didn't know sorry. Well then if you already made it how could you put rice and beans on? She said because I didn't put it in the maker yet. K whatever lady. She had a horrible attitude and tone in her voice. Like I'm the customer. Idk how you do things here. Aaaand I'm in the drive thru so it's not like I can see. And then the guacamole.. disgusting. It seemed like they took black (old) avocados and made this today. It smells rotten, tastes disgusting and looks old. I just called and asked when it was made and the girl said "made fresh every morning. Why what's wrong with it? (I explain) oh but our avocados were really hard this morning so that's probably why it's like that. I can give you more if you come back." I love qdoba very much. The food is always great, but today the drive through lady was TERRIBLE. It started fine, then it went to " I'm out of white rice it's going to be a wait" I was on my lunch break and didn't know if it would take a long time so I kindly asked if she could tell me how long?, Her response was "as long as it takes my cook to make it" Well thank you for giving me a 5 mins or a few mins or asking me if I would like to wait. She was for sure in a fluster, but it does not excuse talking to a guest like that. Also, after I payed she said "ok, have a nice day" and walked away. When she realized I was still sitting there, instead of asking " is there something I can help you with or did I miss something" all she said was " Sorry" . Sorry? She didn't even give me my food.
