Good looking dining area, regular menu and feature menus they real pushed the feature menu which was overpriced for the area. Actually only have one regular menu to four feature menus. One of the Mexican restaurants in this town. This place offers great Mexican dishes. With its own flare. I ordered the short rib tacos and boy it was delicious. Beef is seasoned right and not too salty topped with cheese and fried plantain which I find unusual but it worked. Dish served with coleslaw and a stew Sweet corn. When you're still thinking about the meal...it was definitely delicious!! My wife and I went after work on a Friday. We just wanted to get Mexican.we've been to the Chinese buffet across the hall, so we knew there was a Mexican restaurant next door. We didn't even think about this restaurant being an upscale Mexican restaurant. Sat down, waiter came over and got our drink orders within minutes. Salsa and chips were brought to our table and the salsa and bean dip were warm. Very pleasantly surprised! Never had warm salsa or bean dip, really brings out the flavor of a simple dip. As we were looking through the menu, our waiter brought over a tablet showing us pictures and describing the feature dishes to us. Which, I found was a really great idea because half the time you don't really know what the dishes look like. Most of the time you just pick and choose and hopefully it comes out appetizing. Showing me these pictures sold me on a feature dish instead of a regular menu dish. My wife ordered the Tempequino style tacos and I ordered the duck breast feature dish, don't remember what name of the dish was called. The tacos were a cooked very well, perfectly seasoned, tender steak, cheese was melted and brown, not sure what kind of cheese but very flavorful. It was a very healthy portion with a little extra to take take home. The duck breast was cooked a perfect medium rare. One of the most tender I've ever had. The duck breast had a nice tender bite to it, every time I bit down it just melted. I can't get over how well cooked it was! I found the sauce to be on the sweet side and a little strong on the anise. Overall, wonderful experience. Not a high end restaurant but expect prices to be higher than most Mexican restaurants around town. Which, you do get a different experience and ambiance. I've never been to an upscale Mexican restaurant before and will definitely be returning. read more

Tried this restaurant after living in Vegas for a number of years. It's exceptional, big city flavor and every part of the experience was top notch. I have probably eaten here at least 8 times and I live in Green Bay. It is that good!! Try the house Margarita, you will not regret it. The food is so creative and the chef puts out a special menu every week. I have only eaten off this menu as I always find something new to try. The service is top notch and you feel like you are VIP. Pros: they have a lot of selection on the menu, love the vibe inside by the bar, dinner area is a bit too fancy for me for what I feel they actually offer. Staff is friendly and helpful when choosing what to order. Cons: the hangover is beyond real from their drinks. I'm not sure if it the sugar, or the infused tequila or what in the world. I can drink ALOT with zero issues before getting a pounding and horrible headache, the first time it happened I chalked it up to day drinking. Second time I only had 2 margaritas the entire night and could've cried with how bad I felt. To me it is not worth the price of their menu. They also always act like you need a reservation? When it has never filled up when I've been there, so it's a bit strange to me. My bill is normally around $100 for what I feel should be more around $60 max. There's just more cons at this establishment than pros so I won't be back anytime soon which is sad to me because I wanted to love it since I really enjoy downtown Neenah. read more

Tried to go there this evening, return customer from last time I was in town, and they wouldn't serve me because they were busy. There were plenty of tables open, the bar only had two people at it, and I'm literally one person. Absolutely unbelievable to me that they would turn a customer away. I can understand if I was a full size table, but I'm literally one person. On principle alone I would never recommend anyone to this place...ever. read more

We came here for dinner after our wedding. Our service was great, as were the drinks. The meal was lack luster for the price. The chicken burrito we got for our daughter was incredibly dry. I'm not even sure what I ordered because it was so unremarkable. Also setting up our reservation was odd. We were told that they couldn't take a reservation at 6pm, but 545pm was okay. We had 3 kids with our party and were told over the phone something along the lines of they've had issues with kids being in the restaurant before and that if they get too loud we'd be kicked out. read more

It'll be a cold day to revisit. We tried to call for reservations after they opened at 4 PM. No answer so we tried to just stop by at 615. Told we could not be seated until 730. I glanced into the dining room and a bit less than 1/2 of the tables were empty. We asked about why we couldn't get someone to answer their reservation phone. Got blown off. Hostess said everyone on her handwritten list at the desk had called for reservation days ago. Her list was written with names crossed off top to bottom but just think: everyone called days before and in sequence of getting seated or the list was just like a hostess would list first come first serve. Didn't believe her then, still don't believe her now. Winter is coming but it will have to be attic cold before we consider another attempt. I prefer being told the truth. read more

Four of us decided to go in and have a drink. On a Wednesday evening, it wasn't busy. I should have known by the red velvet rope that it was going to be interesting. We were asked if we had a reservation, and there was one table occupied. No, we would just like to sit at the bar and have drinks. Again, we were asked if we had a reservation. The gentleman seated us and brought a drink menu. We waited and waited and waited. No one ever came to take our order. We got up, removed the red velvet rope, and stated to the person at the desk that they obviously didn't need our money, and we walked out the door. We will NEVER ho back. My team at work has been ordering from here at least three times a week for lunch / dinner -- it's hands down one of our favorites. The salmon asado is one of the best things I've eaten (creamy poblano sauce? yummmmm) They have a great "very hot but really good salsa", as well as excellent tacos / fajitas / etc. Zacatecas gets the details right!!!! read more

The food here is good, but a bit pricey for what you are getting and not worth the price tags. I've been twice and sat at the bar both times being served by the bartender who coincidentally is one of the owners. I would have given 5 stars, however the owner/bartender is a bit on the unfriendly side at least towards me and my colleague. I did however witness him being extremely attentive and nicer to some young women, on our first visit, who were also sitting at the bar and was more concerned with flirting with them and didn't seem to have much time for us either time (second time we were the only ones at the bar). I've never seen this place very busy. The food is good, on the small side for portions with the price you pay so I'm sure that has a lot to do with why it's not very busy. Not sure if I'll go a third time there are other places in the area that are just as good if not better for a lot better pricing, atmosphere and much friendlier service. read more

They had a cute little buffet for lunch. My waiter was so great- he recommended the Mexican sandwich, which I have never had anywhere. This review is based on one visit. Atmosphere: Tall ceilings and dark dining and bar area. Everything was clean and well kept. Hints of hispanic heritage in the artwork on the walls. Service: Odd. There was a host who greeted us at the door and when she seated us, she told us that we could not have a booth after asking because those were for people who had reservations (note during the hour and a half of being there, only 1 couple was seated in the booths). We had a person who brought chips to the table with salsa, a person who brought us water glasses, a person who brought out the tray to serve the food, and a person to actually serve the food. We also had a waiter that took our drink orders and told us the specials. I felt overwhelmed, by the time service was over 7 or 8 people had played some role in the dining experience. Food: The oddest complimentary chips and salsa I've had to date (my boyfriend agrees). It was warm, and it tasted like marinara sauce-it was ungodly sweet. The actual entrees were delicious. I was so hungry I think I ate 90% of it (since the appetizers were extremely expensive we decided to opt out of this option, $10 for guacamole-what?). I ordered the seafood chimichangas, they needed more sauce since they just laid the chimichangas on top of it on the plate and it was cold quickly. The refriend beans had a lot of flavor (after squeezing half a lime over everything) and the rice was cooked well. With each of us having 1 drink a piece (and my boyfriend had a budlight as well) with just 2 entrees it was $68 (before tip!). I've known Ernesto and Heidi (owners) for quite a few years and we've gone to this restaurant since it opened. As we are still locked down during the Covid-19 pandemic my wife and I are trying to support one local restaurant a week. Last night we tried something new...Uber Eats! We each ordered a (chicken) burrito grande and holy Moses...was it ever good! We were also amazed at the size of the burrito, the generous sides and the huge bag of chips.
