I would probably give this location zero stars if I was able to. Poor customer service, not from just one employee, but the line of employees. The toppings for the salad area was a disaster...messy and unappetizing. Chips were soggy. I had asked for clarification on sizes of bowl options (as none were on display) but I was met with sarcasm and a lack of respect. As a person that often frequents Qdoba locations, this is the worst I have ever experienced. Management should pay closer attention to the attitudes and working compatibility with its staff. I don't like to judge an entire location based upon one person having a bad day, but they all seemed to be having a bad day. read more

This place is really good as far as chain burrito shops go, but the state of the restaurant only lets me give three stars instead of the four I was hoping for based on the other reviews of this place. The floor was SO dirty with bits of food and napkin everywhere that it was hard to find a place to sit comfortably and eat. The restrooms were no better- the trash cans were overflowing and it felt like it hadn't been cleaned in a minute. This is just a poorly maintained establishment. The food they actually serve you on the other hand was quite good, and the default tacos you can order are flavor packed if you suck at creating burritos (like me) with big portions. I know this place is run by kids, but it doesn't need to look like their bedroom floor! read more

This is a welcome stop in the middle of Nebraska. A bit of civilization in the middle of no where. When we stopped here in the middle of a cross country trip, the place was packed with people at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. I am giving this 5-stars because it is so hard to find any good food in Nebraska. I had 3 steak tacos that were of normal Qdoba quality - very good! The service was slow, very slow given there were at least 9 people behind the counter. The staff was confused doing their jobs, and the Nebraskans ordering food were often confused and slow in ordering - perhaps not used to this type of restaurant. The restaurant is brand new with an OK layout. It's a virtual oasis of modernity where mediocrity often reigns supreme. I will be back. read more

This one had a lot of teens working, who clearly were both incompetent and not particularly invested in things. So, my son's nachos wound up with a lot of stray debris in it, my taco shell was stunningly overcooked, my son's cookie was raw in the middle, there was a borderline lake on the floor near the drink fountain and the entire place was just incredibly sloppy. It does, however, have a full bar, the first time I've seen one of those in a place like this, so that was kind of special. This visit was offensive enough to my wife that she tried (unsuccessfully) to ban future visits to this chain, which was probably excessive and not particularly reasonable. My family and I were on vacation and stopped in for a meal. Line was long, tables were and dining area were very dirty. Waiting in line alone was a good 35 minutes. When we got to ordering the food station was filthy and hadn't been cleaned or sanitized. The restaurant was out of certain items. The staff were slow, talking, not well groomed or customer appealing. Employees were not properly trained. The manager had an attitude and altercation with another customer. Overall neatness, cleanliness, sanitation and customer service came far from any standard guidelines. read more

Quick and easy stop on our way through to Council Bluffs. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Lots of extra options at this location with breakfast and a full bar. We ordered on the app but ended up needing to wait an extra 10-15 minutes or so. They ran out of steak which was pretty annoying, but still had ground beef. The food was great and it was a huge portion. Great place to eat besides the minor inconvenience. One of their bartenders/staff picked up trash then dropped it on the ground and then picked it up off the ground and then placed it on a customers food plate because he went to the bathroom and left his food (hadn't even touched his food yet) and when she realized it was brand new food, she picked the trash off and left the plate there and didn't say anything to the man when he returned from the restroom. She just stood behind the bar while he started eating his food. She even went to the hassle of asking other staff about what she should do and no one said to remake the food for the man. I wish there were a term in English for when a burrito makes you angry. If it existed, my recent experience at Qdoba would warrant it. While its very existence in North Platte is welcome for those driving across Nebraska, the food is such a let down that one might want to keep driving. We ordered two veggie burritos. The fellow making them put so little filling in each that we were mostly eating tortilla and an occasional bite of beans or rice. For nearly $20 for two burritos - neither of which had any high-cost ingredients - this was a real bummer. Really, though, we need a term for when burritos make you angry. read more

The good: It's Qdoba in North Platte! The rest: After ordering food for an entire family, I had the gull to ask for a bag to carry it in (I don't know where I came up with this tomfoolery)...well, the girl behind the register became filled with such a passive aggressive rage that after a huge sigh, visible sag of the shoulders, and the eye roll, she grabbed a bag. With a look of utter disdain on her face she started slamming all the dishes around and made it super hard for herself to get the food in the bag. Stuck her arm out with no eye contact and said "here". I was trying not to laugh, because this lady is clearly on the edge, and you know they have giant knives back there. After we were in the car, I turned to my husband and said " what did you do to her?" He laughed and said "you were the one who had to go and ask for a bag!". I agree, it was all my fault. So my advice - if you want some qdubs, pull on in! It's up to you if you want to get really crazy and ask for bags to carry your food in. Ask at your own risk, but have some fun with it! Don't say yoy weren't warned though, when you experience that barely suppressed rage. Advice for the NP Qdoba: it is standard to put your customers orders in a bag. Maybe go to another location and test the method for yourself. Also, maybe bring in some counselors for your cashier. read more

This Qdoba seems to be staffed entirely by 16 year old girls, and is about as messy as a 16 year old girl's room. I like Qdoba, and the food was good as usual, but really, it wasn't exactly slammed with customers and the place needed to be broomed and cleaned about 2 hours ago. The bathroom also needs a little TLC - overflowing trashcan, etc. C'mon girls, step it up. read more

Had the loaded Tortilla Soup with brown rice, pinto beans, grilled chicken and cheese. Fantastic!! Could have been a meal on its own. Grilled Adobe Chicken burrito on a wheat tortilla with black beans, fajita veggies, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Huge burrito!! All very good tasting. Great place to eat!! read more

Let me begin by saying that if I was to judge this restaurant on taste alone it would be closer to 3.5 stars. The dismal lone star was awarded for overall dining experience in North Platte, NE. My husband and I stopped at 6:30 PM on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. As we went through the line they ran out of chicken, black beans, and pico, and the workspace for food preparation was a mess. We seated ourselves at a dirty table (all the empty ones were filthy) and were generally impressed with our food except for the soggy chips that required a fair amount of chewing and not so much crunching. My husband discovered they were out of straws and instead had a box of short straws from Walmart sitting next to the normal straw dispenser. The bad news about the women's restroom was that it was completely out of toilet paper (which I discovered too late). The good news about the bathroom was that there were a few squares of remaining toilet paper thrown haphazardly across the floor within arm's reach of the toilet. And, my glee from my turn of luck almost made the dismantled soap dispenser and overflowing trash unnoticeable. Upon leaving the restaurant, we also discovered that ALL of the trash cans were overflowing and as we stood cramming our dirty plates into the tiny crevices of one trash mound we offered a bleak "Good luck!" to the steady stream of patrons who were about to share in our epically awful dining experience...except for most of the food, which wasn't half bad. read more
