Highly recommend! Food was great! We were in town for one night and looking for good Mexican food. The parking lot was packed so thought we'd give it a try. Filled with locals including families celebrating. Was really busy but we didn't wait very long to be seated and service was fast. Everyone's food was delish! It's freezing, and i decide to walk to an Italian restaurant. As I head north (?), I pass by San Pedro in time to see a very nice Mexican family exit. I immediately called an audible and walked in. At first, it wasn't looking incredibly promising; chips and salsa hit the table, and were very bland - no salt at all on the chips and a very unremarkable salsa. I check out the huge menu, and decide to go all in on the Molcajete Mexicano. It hit the table with grand fanfare, and I dug in. It was absolutely awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed it, though the "hot sauce" could be hotter, but that's just me. Tasty and delicious! Loved it and ate every last calorie. I can't go the five star route due to the aforementioned chips and salsa and the fact that the menu said my dish was $19.99 and I was charged $21.99. Definitely worth one visit and possibly more, just take note of the price on the menu and compare to your check. read more

I have been coming to San Pedro for 8 years and every time I come, I am blown away at the quality and quantity of the food they serve. I rotate between the super burrito, chicken fajitas, or the cheese chicken. All of them are amazing and very authentic. The chips and salsa are unmatched by any other mexican restaurant in the area. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and regularly check in on you to see how the food is or if you need refills on chips or drinks. The atmosphere is unbeatable. The food was average. Pretty darn good for Nebraska but average for communities that have a large Hispanic community. It was edible and fairly tasty but not beyond that. Solid four stars. Had a large horchata (the largest I had ever seen) and the Tacos Marinos with shrimp. The host (owner?) seemed busy with his phone both when I arrived and when I left. Love it! Good portion size and a large amount of meat. The onion and peppers were nice and slightly crunchy which I like. Passing through the area on our way to Denver. We have dined at SO MANY Mexican restaurants in our lifetime, and this one did not disappoint. The chips and salsa are authentic, we asked for a hot sauce and mixed that with their house salsa, yummy, perfect! We ordered a ala carte chicken chimichanga, chili relleno, a #33 which is a tamale, chili relleno and a tostada. With two waters, the total bill came to $18.18 with tax. The flavors are deep, fresh and authentic. The service was good. The lady who seated us with glasses was not overly friendly though. The bathroom was clean. Every worker we encountered was friendly and in an upbeat mood. Chips are your average tortilla chip but the salsa was flavorful with a nice spice. My burrito was massive and the perfect mix of flavors. You will not leave here hungry. I love the casual vibe and atmosphere. It was a laid back experience with good food at great prices. This afternoon my mom, a friend and I came here for lunch. We were given the menus and then the chips and salsa. It took some time for the waiter to come to our table, Typically the waiter takes your drink order first, then comes back for your food order. But not here. I ordered a chimichanga, but it wasn't like any other chimichangas that I have ordered in the past at other restaurants. It was just the meat inside and the lettuce, tomatoes, salsa and cheese was just on the plate. Not what I expected at all. Also, the waiter wasn't too friendly. When he gave me a refill on my soda, he just kind of slid the glass onto the table as he was quickly walking by. And to top it off, it took a long time for him to give us our bill.
