QDOBA Mexican Eats 130 Ryan Rd Spearfish, SD 57783 August 15, 2021 Sunday - 12:45 PM for lunch 4 Adults Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 3 stars Service - 4 stars Background - Road tripping across the country with a vegetarian.  Choices are very limited.  While I was filling up the car with gas, everyone agreed on Qdoba. Atmosphere - Another cafeteria style build your meal type restaurant.  Very modern vibe, with some nice seating outside so we enjoyed our lunch with our dog. Lunch - A few choices on the menu, and of course I went with the burrito.  I love a great burrito.  Two huge spoonfuls of brown rice then topped with another two large spoonfuls of black beans.  That is a lot of filler.  Then I had my choice of proteins, I had the steak.  Cubed meat was tender, it was a actually really good but lacked seasoning.  The menu does not include any "spiced" meats such as carne asada or barbacoa.  I picked the pico de gallo, I was hoping for some heat but lucky to even tastes the tomatoes.  Then some fresh cilantro.  Overall the burrito was huge but lacked flavor and did not hold my interest. Service - A team worked the line, we started with the manager.  He was polite and friendly.  Then he passed us off to other team members.  Cashing out was easy. Future - Probably not, just because of the location.  I am just not in this part of the country very much. read more

Very upset with my recent experience at this Qdoba. I should not have to see hickeys all over the worker making my burrito. It was very unprofessional and i felt uncomfortable with that sight. I will not be attending this establishment any time soon. read more

It's tough to go on a road trip with a vegan daughter. We made it to the restaurant before they closed for the night and we picked out our bowls and sat down inside. We are still in the COVID-19 pandemic but indoor dining is allowed. I must say the food was delicious and full of flavor - of course you get to pick what goes inside your bowl. read more

i ordered a nacho bowl online and not only was my order made wrong (didn't have the rice I asked for) but also the none of the chips I got were done. it was beyond obvious that they needed more time considering that they were FLOPPY like wet and chewy. Got takeout at 7:55pm of a lettuce bowl with chicken, guacamole, salsa, pinto beans, grilled peppers & queso. I ate 1/3 of it and threw the rest out. It was terrible. The chicken was rubbery and almost seemed raw at times. The lettuce had tons of brown spots. Flavor lacking. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! read more

Came in for a burrito. They must use chuck because it was fatty and tough. The server literally SCRAPED what was left in the bin. Went out to my car took a bite and immediately exited my vehicle to throw that hot mess in a pocket away. Never visiting a MF'n QDOBA again. I went to this location for the FIRST time, I have always patronized Chipotle and this was a TOTAL let down. I'm not sure if it was the staff or the food or a combination. The server ran out of food and the food was cold. I would not go again. read more

Came here for a quick lunch after visiting Wyoming. Not expecting much I quickly found out that this is one of the nicer QDOBA's. It was very clean and just simply looked very nice. The food tasted normal and the staff was normal. Definitely come here for your Mexican eats. read more

One star because the food is Qdoba. I patronize Qdoba restaurants all over and this by far was the worst experience and it didn't need to be. The manager, she must have been having a rough day or the handful of people in the restaurant must have made it too busy for her comfort. One: I ordered a pork quesadilla with extra pork, the portion size was meager at best but apparently it was too much for the manager's liking as she made the comments to the girl making my quesadilla "that's a lotta pork". Okay, I'm a paying customer and I asked for extra, the poor girl left me hanging without my extra pork and I still got charged. Two: I asked for onions & cilantro to be added to my quesadilla before it was cooked, the manager said it couldn't be done. I reassured her it could and that is how I would like it, I've had it done like that numerous times. She argued with me stating that whomever was making them how I liked them must also like cleaning up the grill at night. She did say I could add them myself though and put a cup of onions & cilantro in my to go container. No need for her attitude. I'll continue to stick to my regular Qdoba in Rapid City, where the managers are friendly & give their name when asked and aren't judgmental arses when I ask for extra pork. read more

We've traveled for 9 months now and Qdoba became a pretty regular spot despite my personal preference for its obvious competitor. I don't usually write reviews for a chain (unless it's awesome), so cheers to this location. The service was incredibly friendly and it was by far the best Qdoba burrito I've ever had. The place was packed, but still had plenty of choices for seating. The restaurant and bathroom was extremely clean. We ordered and had our food within 5 minutes. Everything about it was great. Qdoba is great, because they are happy to make it custom for you, just like you like it. If you're hungry, you can get a burrito or tacos. I was feeling like something lighter, so I got a salad with fresh, hot grilled chicken. I got toppings that were on the spicier-side, and it was delicious! The kids menu is great, and my four year old loved his cheese quesadilla. Lots of good seats, and it was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the patio. Great attention to detail, with everything very clean and organized. The service was outstanding, and everyone was very friendly. read more

I come to Qdoba a lot with my family and usually everything is perfect. Tonight, however, the manager was extremely rude. I was ordering my food and she treated me like I was a baby because I asked a question about the menu. It is a shame to see the manager be less helpful and professional than the other employees and it makes me not want to come again. read more

I normally try to avoid the chain restaurants. If I want mexican, I prefer an authentic mexican restaurant. Stopped in here recently for lunch, and it wasn't too bad. Avoid the Guadalajara restaurant that is nearby - Not very good anymore... read more

Every time I go to this Qdoba it's a huge rip off. I usually order a burrito bowl and they give me 3 pieces of meat, a very small amount of rice, and more queso than there is anything else. I've never had a problem with any other locations except this one. You definitely don't get what you pay for here. read more
