They are reasonably priced, on time, respectful. They even did a couple things that weren't on the estimate with no extra charge. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

BALDWIN CONSTRUCTION DALE AND BETTY BALDWIN. BEWARE OF THIS…read more CONTRACTOR These people are not capable of any construction or paint Sheetrock work if your looking for quality workmanship. We will start with the outside work I had them do . I had to chase Dale Baldwin around to make sure that he and his helper were doing things right. Of course he started putting vents in the soffit none of the vents are the same distance apart or turned the same direction. Corner boards which he replaced with new. Started out he wasn't cutting the two the same length at the bottom. Insisted on using screws instead of nails fond numerous screws that were not set below the wood. Their texture work there is no resemblance to any texture in my home whatsoever. Simple knockdown texture. Inside both bedrooms were never cut in at the base boards. Paint spots all over my carpet then tried using goof off to clean the spots with. This just made big splotches of the dye pulled out of the carpet. Stain work on the trim for the window casing was awful put it on and never wiped it down. The 45 degree corners of inside window casings had 1/2 gaps that had to be filled with wood putty. Paint all over light fixture in bathroom and bathroom did not cover with one coat of paint. He was paid to put two coats. I have a total of 41 pictures of unfinished unacceptable work. BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR!

I have a pretty old master shower that had started leaking a bit which caused some mold issues with…read moresome trim around the wall near the leak. Also, the shower's caulk has degraded to the point where it needed to be replaced along with the shower door (which was the main source of the leak, with Plano water destroying all of the old seals etc)... So it was time to get things looked at. Tony came out and gave a very thorough look at my issues and recommended I get the shower door replaced, caulking re-done, and baseboard trim replaced from the damage that was there. He also suggested I get the dry wall in the damaged area replaced, however I opted not to do this since I have wallpaper and didn't want an empty white area where the new wall would be (I'm willing to accept that the wall behind the damaged area probably needs to be replaced; will most likely use AmeriConstruction to help me out with that down the road when I eventually get all the wall paper removed). Communication was great with Tony. He worked extremely hard getting the right people involved in my project. This being one of my first (what I consider) BIG projects, I had a few companies come and take a look. AmeriConstruction was the most reasonable and the repairs suggested by Tony made the most sense. Other companies were trying to get me to remodel the whole shower or the whole bathroom. They had no interest in just replacing a shower door, baseboard trim, and re-caulking the shower. Tony maintained great contact with me, keeping me up to date with what materials I was responsible vs the contractors. I ended up being in charge of acquiring a replacement shower door from Home Depot, some silicon, caulk, and replacement baseboard. The first day, the contractor came in and replaced the shower door. The installation was professional and quick. They also listened to my concerns about the particular corner that was leaking, and I feel like they went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable the repair for that area of the shower. They even used their own silicone because it's what they trusted which is fine with me. Tony gave me a text/call after the first step was completed and made sure that everything was too my satisfaction so far. So onto the next day (Silicone needed to dry before next part). The next crew showed up to do the baseboard trim replacement and re-caulking the shower. Again, they were very professional and quick. They also listened to my concern about the corner in question. They even suggested adding more caulk underneath the corner (hard to explain), just in case water splashed up into the corner. There had never been caulk there before, they said, but I have no issues with extra protection. Tony gave me a call after that and made sure I was happy with their work as well. Overall it was a fantastic experience, and I'm already lining up some more projects for AmeriConstruction to handle for me. It's my understanding that they literally will do any job, small or large. Things to note: You will most likely be responsible for providing the materials for the project. (Really not that big of a deal, now that I've been through the process). Representatives from AmeriConstruction will do their best to show you the necessary materials needed and where to get them. In fact, one option was for me to get a frameless glass shower door, and they knew someone they worked with that could provide that for me; but for my use-case, I'm not sure frameless would be the way to go, so I went with a framed door from home depot. There was no pressure, either way, just suggestions which speaks to AmeriConstruction high ethics. Fantastic experience! Thanks to Tony and AmeriConstruction for putting my worries at ease and doing a great job on my project! Get ready, I'm lining up a lot more stuff for next year.

5 years ago, when a tornado hit our house, Americonstruction worked with us and with our insurance…read moreto get a settlement to make repairs. On the surface, everything is beautiful. There were some problems with sub contractors, but the owners tried to make those things right. 5 years later, it feels like every time we turn around we find another problem. Not cosmetic, but problems with the quality of work. Just a few problems have been trim that didn't get put back up under low windows, shelves mounted with the screws in the wrong place, pebbles left under the flooring, I can go on and on. Our most recent was that a shower door just fell off. As my husband looked at it to put it back up, he found that they had mounted the heavy glass door into the shower surround with nothing behind it for the screws to hold to except some glue!!! Efforts to repair this problem found that they mounted the whole shower surround with nothing behind it but the studs. No shower board, Sheetrock or anything!!! The subcontractors cut corners everywhere possible and no one monitored the quality of work. Use the utmost caution if you hire this company and monitor EVERYTHING because they won't.
