John was very helpful and professional. Put my roommate's mind at ease. He is a gentleman and a scholar! God bless you, John.

Quality air answered the phone on the first call and dispatched a technician same day. I paid around $250.

We had a backup and Jonathan came out to resolve. We agreed to a camera inspection and rotor. He…read moretold us that there was a break in the line and that we needed to replace it. He told us it works be $25k. When we didn't immediately agree to get the $25k in work done (who doesn't get a second opinion for that much work?), he informed us that we had to pay extra for a copy of the video!! The rotor and "camera" cost us $749. The next day, I called him asking for a copy of the estimate bc I hadn't received it via email yet. He said that he doesn't give written estimates bc we might use it to get a cheaper quote from someone else!! We didn't use the water at all until we tried flushing once the next day. The backup was back, which wouldn't be too surprising if there was a break. We called a different plumber. He did another rotor and camera for $400. He didn't find a break. He also provided us with a copy of the video and a written estimate if we wanted to replace the cast iron. We watched the video. The pipe is in surprisingly good condition and there is no break. It's unclear what caused the backup. It's been over a month and there has been no further issues. I called Jonathan and asked to see the video showing the break or a refund of only the cost of the camera. He repeatedly *insisted* that he never told us that there was a break and that he only told us to jet the line. No wonder he refused to provide a written estimate. Fortunately, I had the payment receipt which mentioned the break. He then started to discuss not charging us for another camera if we hired him to put in a cutout. I declined and he said that he'd call me back in half an hour. He didn't call back. When i texted him late that evening, he demanded to see the video showing no break. Why does he want the video showing no breaks when he insisted that he never said that there were breaks? Maybe I should have sent it to him, but he had already gaslit me and now he was moving the goalposts. I told him I'd play if for him if he came over, but I wasn't going to email it to him. He refused. I told him that I'd send it if he sent the video showing a break. He didn't respond (this part was over text). I have no evidence that he even did the camera. His rotor job appears to also have also been subpar considering the backup reoccurred so quickly and the pipes are fine now that another plumber rotored them.

He also explained the warranty. He cleaned the area and moved everything back where we had it, he was respectful and professional. We paid $2,500 for the installation of a very small water heater in our condo back in April. Fast forward just 7 months to November and I texted the owner Ron to see what could be the cause of the leak. He said most likely the HVAC, but we looked ourselves and could not find a leak. It's tough when you have 3 kids. He said he'd come by for a service fee (but did not indicate cost of this "service" fee). He charged $300 just to come look at it, and it was indeed the HVAC. The HVAC guy came in the next day and stayed for over an hour and took care of a cracked PVC pipe for less than the 5-minute service call of Emerald Coast Water heaters. I have bought and sold several properties and NEVER been charged so much for a service call. I asked politely if I could whittle than figure down to $200 (which is very fair) and the owner refused. He then proceeded to add a $30 late fee to the bill after just a week. Avoid this company. Highway Robbery ! $300 for 5 minutes.

My main issue when I asked for a breakdown of the charges was when he gave me 3 different prices for the part...$800, Then $900 and finally $1,000 in text. My problem was when I conducted a simple google search you could buy the exact same back flow preventer for $400-$600. Then he proceeded to tell me he spent 4 hours on my job. Unfortunately, I was able to witness that was not the case from cameras on my house. I would have been fine if he would have offered a simple gesture to remove even $50. Bottomline he is way overpriced for the work he does. On top of that I do not like being misled. It would have been nice to have a heads up that this was going to be an $1,800 job. I was not in dire straits as the house was vacant. I have since spoke with 3 plumbers that would have all done if for much less. I definitely would not recommend working with this individual.

We've used them for installation of HVAC, water heaters and large electrical projects. We also have a very useful contract for them to conduct seasonal check-ups & Tuen-ups of our systems. She proceeded to tell me (because I asked) that when they come out, they will give me an estimate, but if I don't like the estimate and chose not to get work done I will have to pay an $89 fee because they came out. She literally told me with a straight face (or voice) that Peden could not give me even a ballpark figure for an outdoor electrical box install. Tsk tsk. I respectfully asked them not to sell my information and told the woman on the other line that if her manager ever got the fortitude to provide a ballpark figure I would be OK with him calling me. SCAM.
