Took my 1999 Ford Windstar in Friday at 3pm, by 11am Saturday my van was ready to go. Drove her to Moreno Valley without any issues. Quality Auto Electric & Complete Auto Repair came highly recommended by my cousin Miguel, and they did a great job. My van got these things removed and replaced: power steering pump, power steering reservoir container flushed, recharged A/C system, fixed vaccum lines to A/C system, passenger side rack and pinion. One year later and driving a very different car, but Juan is still my go to for any car drama. Like I told him, I rather have man problems than car problems but thankfully with Juan, there seems like car problems might not even be that big of a deal. I called him today for a light and a delayed starter and it turns out they were same day fixes. Harry had worked on my truck a couple times. Rack and pinion..'fine'. Air conditioning system.. Terrible job.. dosen't work and cost way to much. I'm not very happy. Well here's the kicker!! Juan at Quality Auto Electric is a life saver! I've never felt so comfortable taking my car in for service as I do here. I know Juan will be honest with me and not try and sell me repairs I don't need. I have a 10 year old Mazda that, as it gets older, needs repairs more frequently. I thought I needed a new compressor for my AC and when Juan actually got into it all it turned out to be was a leaky hose. I drive all the way from West LA because I know I'm going to get a fair price and quality service. read more

Juan and Quality Auto Electric & Complete Auto Repair are no joke! Quality is in the name for a reason. I've been bringing my cars to Juan for over a decade, even though I live near the coast (west side) now. I'm so glad he has his own shop and is continuing to help more people. That's what this man is really all about, helping people. He just happens to know everything about repairing vehicles as well. Juan is a man of integrity and is more than fair. He's helped me with my rides with tasks like flushing and replacing fluids, replacing axle seals, belts, seals, wheel bearings, water pumps, and timing kits, to just name a few. Juan and his team have welded my cracked manifold before. This man doesn't hesitate to save you money at each opportunity. He is very honest and reliable with completing any work he starts. Juan has always kept me informed, every step of the way, during any repairs or service. He consistently empowers the customer to make their best informed decision. Just yesterday, I had to bring in my car (2002 Honda Civic LX) for service. Juan helped me replace all four struts, replaced a damaged/detached gear shift knob, replaced a destroyed motor mount, replaced a head lamp and cleaned the lights, repaired my car alarm, and even helped to fix my driver side door upholstery. All completed in one day. Unbelievable professionalism!!! I've never been to another mechanic shop anywhere that can compete with Juan's prices, customer service, or competence. Bought a car at an auction for a steal but of course had its problems. Mostly electrical. Asked around and some mechanics said a certain part "could be" the reason but not certain. Decided to look around and saw the few reviews for Quality Auto Electric and decided to give them a try because the few reviews were all 5 stars and spoke very highly of the staff. I called and went in early morning to meet Juan. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy. Did a small diagnostic check for freee and told me possibilities and what he thought could be the reason (which he was right), then gave me a very reasonable price to fully diagnose the car's electrical issues and in the case the charge was more (which he was sure it wouldn't be), the diagnosis charge would go towards the full amount. Left my car and he also noticed the alignment was off. Called me and said if I'd like to get it aligned down the street for $50 and he could even take it for me so i didn't have to go back and take it myself. Brought in my car around 9am and picked it up before 6pm. All electrical issues gone, alignment complete, and even 90 days warranty on the issues he fixed. This guy is legit and he won't give you attitude or make you feel uncomfortable because of the shape of the car. He will tell you his honest and educated opinion on it. Definitely recommending this guy to my friends and family for any needs. read more

I replaced it and it persisted so I bring it here. They took a look at it and let me know my car needed a valve cover replacement, new spark plugs, and to replace the sensor I had just replaced. There might have been more but this was almost a year ago so I don't exactly remember everything we did. Fine, I trust them because this place has been highly reviewed and it seemed very professional. So I spent about $1500 on repairs. Maybe a week later the same code comes on so I'm confused. I take it back to them and it takes days for them to get to the car because their "diagnostic tech" is really busy. Fine. So they call me and tell me that the code I'm getting is because my timing chain is fucked and it's going to cost $4500 to fix it... Which I don't have. So I sit on it for a few days while I see if I can come up with the money or what I'm going to do, before they threaten to charge me a storage fee for having my car with them. Fine, I understand they don't have all the space in the world. So I get to the shop pay their $150 diagnostic fee and try to take the car. The battery is dead. They gave me a jump and I drove home but there was no check engine light. I found it weird and thought it was a fluke. Long story short I replaced the battery, battery cable, oil, alternator and the car is just fine. I've been driving it for almost 8 months. I put in maybe $500 in parts. While I am trying to figure out what the problem is I message them and ask if they charged the battery, or if the battery died on them at all. No answer despite multiple messages. And this is what bothers me you have no problem messaging me multiple times to threaten me with fees but can't respond to one simple message. My point is this shop is shady. They wanted to upsell me on expensive repairs I didn't need. Now I'm not even sure if I truly needed those $1500 in repairs the first time. How do I know it was an upsell? The guy who gave me my car back said, "we just go based on what the scanner says." And that's when I knew this shop sucked. Why would I be charged a ridiculous $150 fee for you to scan my car? Personally that doesn't seem like diagnostic work (at least a proper one). I feel like some of the things I discovered on my own an experienced mechanic would have found. The car had an electrical problem. In between those two visits I took another car to them to see if they could do a transmission drain and fill. I put that in the appointment request and I made the appointment days in advance. When I get there they say they can't work on the car because it has a lot of miles on it, which again is fine but why are you making me waste my time and bring my car to you if you aren't going to work on it. Do you not have someone who checks the following days' appointments? Why does your website allow me to make the appointment if it doesn't meet your shops criteria. All in all I say stay away and find a place with honest mechanics.

On July of 2025, I took my car to a shop because my car was making noises...brakes, tires and so on needed to be replaced, I paid for that. Then, as I was driving my car it came to a complete stop. I was unable to move because it wouldn't turn on, my fuel pumps were the problem. Paid to have those replaced at the same shop that I trusted. On March of this year, 2026, I'm at Target and my car failed to turn on. I towed it to the same shop and they "repaired and replaced my non-working fuel pumps" because it was still under warranty. My car is acting up, possibly fuel pumps again. This would be the third time in a year dealing with the same problem. Long story short, brought it to G & J Auto Repair Shop to have George inspect it because I feel that he is honest. Spoke to him in March of this year when my fuel pumps gave out again. I had warranty and so I decided to take it back to old shop. He has been understanding, has checked my electrical concerns,inspected the fuel pumps and has taken the time to inspect my overall car, so that I can have a peace of mind! Another mechanic changed the spark plugs/coils but the code was still popping up. G&J was able to diagnose that I had a bad vacuum hose. They replaced it, and the code was cleared. For AC repair, George quoted me on the cost for AC compressor and fan replacement (parts & labor). Pricing was very good. Next day they had my car ready for me to hit the road. I pulled off the lot with my AC blasting ice cold, engine codes cleared, and car running Great! So thankful for George and team taking care of me. I do it then the car is still leaking oil. Dennis (the mechanic) recommends a rear main seal replacement but I don't do it and 6 months later I decide to get to the bottom of why my car is leaking oil and I see it's still the oil pan gasket so I decide to switch it out myself and i see how bad of a job these people did and tried to scam me into doing more work than needed. The oil pan gasket was the problem from the beginning I seen the gasket they used and it was a make your own gasket (later if silicone or something) very messy work some of the gasket was inside of the pan and inside the upper oil pan apart from that it was ripped and still leaking oil. Just be careful check your work before leaving the shop. I paid over $500 for the job to be done with very cheap materials.

Left my van there for almost two weeks. Every time I called, Juan would either tell he would call me back in 5 minutes or tell me he was working on the van as we spoke! May be so, but the 5 minutes never arrived. Other times someone else would answer the phone and never called back. Awful customer service. Two weeks later I just showed up and picked up the car. I was referred to Juan by another mechanic to investigate computer fault codes on my BMW several years ago. I kept his contact info. for future ref. and decided to return to Quality Auto Electric to fix a headlight / running light problem I was having on my 1965 Chevy Impala. Thx quality auto . They did a good job on my truck. It even broke a month or so later but they warrntied it and has been working just fine ever since. I would recomment this place. It is a little hard to find but its worth the trouble. Good luck everyone. Thank you agian read more

Not sure how this place can get such high ratings. Left the car for checkups, but they do nothing. Do not recommend this place at all.
