My car was hit by a falling rock from those dump trucks on the freeway yesterday. What started as a small chip quickly grew into a 14-inch crack in just 10 minutes. I contacted several companies on Yelp, and Zak responded promptly and gave me a great quote. However, I chose Zak because he answered my questions honestly. He told me that my car did not need the cameras (for the lane departure warning) because my cameras were not mounted on the windshield but on the roof of my car. As an engineer, I appreciate an answer that makes sense. We scheduled a visit, and Zak was able to secure the glass and visit my home this morning. During the installation, Zak was very friendly and explained to me all the steps he performed. He also cleaned the glue residue and finished the job on time. I was calling around shops for quotes on January 5th. I called this place and it was thee best quote I received. $185. I made an appointment for Monday, January 8th at 8:00am. I contacted him again on January 7th to ask if it was ok that the car was on a trailer, he said ok. Today, Monday January 8th no one showed up at 8:00a. I looked in my Yelp messages and he said he would be here at 12. Then I received a call from the tech saying he'd be here at 10:30 (in 10 minutes). I had called several shops so I wanted to ensure the correct shop was coming. I asked: "this is Quality Auto Glass for $185?" He said this is quality auto glass, but it will be more like $200 out the door. I took to Yelp messages and explained the timing & pricing issue and was told that the $185 price was for cash only. So I had to leave and go to the bank to get $185. Their work was good. Price was best I found, the confusion and stress of not being able to be here at the appointment time & changing prices was awful, so I gave them a 3-star. Get it together guys. The tech was friendly, he knew what he was doing. The scheduling & quotes provided need to be congruent with the service provided. Again. The tech was nice & did a good job, the other stuff was stressful and when you have your car stolen, engine blown and just get home from towing up to Stockton from Southern California at 55mph making it a 16 hour trip and 3 hours of sleep, this was not a pleasant experience. read more

My front windshield glass was full (I mean FULL) of cracks and chips and even two straight lines across from left to right. So as you can see it's time to change it. So I use Yelp to reach out to 10-ish businesses that does auto glass replacements and at the end I went with this business. They not only seem sincere but also base on the interactions back and forth with the technician, I have a feeling he does a great job and will put his heart into it. And plus the constant updates and communication was a big factor too! I live in Pittsburg, CA and they were willing to come all the way out here from Stockton, CA. Outside of their coverage area (not too much but still...) Anyways, came out here and didn't state any extra charge until I ask and even that asked if I want to pay a little extra and did not demand it. Of course I did pay him more cause a hard working individual with a heart deserve it! So the technician got to my location and contacted me to meet him at the car. We spend about 10 minutes going through details on the work and explaining to me what he will be doing. The best part (and another reason why I know I made the right choice) was that he took the car apart explaining AND showing me what needs to be done and what damages was already there so I know it was not part of this "replacement" process. Cover Your Ass and I really like that about people. Upfront and taking responsibilities for their actions and not have to be innocently blamed. After car was taken apart, technician did his thing and I went back into the house to finish eating. Once awhile I would look outside to make sure he didn't drive my car away or doing anything bad. He did NOT. Anyways so when I saw him sweating I went outside to offer him water and luckily he was in the shade to work so he was good. He was finishing up the replacement and I loved his work ethics and work attitude so far. And base on what I see from this point on til the very end, I for sure know I did not make a wrong choice. The way he put the pieces back onto my car, the way the windshield looks, the glue and the molding looks fantastic, and I wish I was able to find a reason to complain but couldn't. Not even a dirty windshield glass cause he clean it after everything was done. I have attached photos of before and after as evidence of his work. Also of the findings that the technician found that was from the previous windshield replacement (unknown when) because I got the car after that. So you can see what "bad/unprofessional" technician job looks like. Overall very satisfy with this business and the technician, Zaki! And you can see I don't write review much. I only write reviews of businesses that deserve my time and effort to praise or complain about. This case it is well worth my time and effort to compliment/praise about this business. read more
