BUYER BEWARE Over a week ago I placed an order for car parts, they never mailed anything, car never got fixed, and I'm fighting with them to get a refund. They do not provide a phone number, they do nothing more than create a tracking number, but they never mail anything. You have to report them to Mastercard or Visa as well as your bank. I have to say, as wary as I usually am with dealership (because of my lack of knowledge on cars), Quality Buick really exceeded my expectations! After doing routine oil change at my local carshop, the local carshop let me know I should probably drop by a certified Buick service place and have them replace a catalytic converter, because it looked like my car needed replacement (from more research of why my engine light kept coming up). They also let me know that it looks like because my car was still under 8 years old and less than 80K miles, it should qualify under a federal warranty and that a certified service place should be able to do it for me. So, after a long hesitation because I really didn't want to stop by a place close to dealership because I was just that uncomfortable about it, I reluctantly made an appointment. Even though the appointment was a week out back then, everyone I interacted with at Quality Buick was way more than professional and didn't make me feel bad or get a sleazy feeling at all! They ended up doing diagnostic of the engine light and came to the same conclusion I was expecting that I would need a catalytic converter replacement. Best of all, I didn't have to haggle or go back and forth on the fact that my car part was still under federal warranty at all. They took care of everything and charge me 0 dollars for the diagnostic and the work without having me mentioning it at all! I dropped my car off on Monday and on Wednesday morning, I got a call letting me know that the replacement was done and my car was ready to go! To be honest, this really exceeded my expectations and I really appreciated their honesty. I was really worried about having to shell out a few thousand dollars because of the catalytic converter's malfunction, but....the service center was really honest in offering the free replacement and warranty without me even asking about it To this end, the cost was ZERO dollars out of pocket for me and all the staff I interacted with from checking my car in, to on the phone getting updates about my car and picking my car up, everyone was REALLY professional about it! Thank you to this Quality Buick GMC Mazda team for your service. I really appreciated your help and you all are super awesome and honest. They refused to replace the parts, insisting it was a separate problem. They charged me $600 and insisted my car was good. I picked it up, drove to work and it exploded on me. Nearly causing a massive pile up on I-25. I never had a problem w oil but after they had it, it blew up bc they refused to replace the parts needed which it then failed (diagnosed by 2 mechanics but special coverage has to be done at dealership). It's currently at a reputable mechanics while they assess the damage created by quality Buick. They ran my credit without me filling out a credit app in person. Applied for prequal in GM Financial website. The prequal is not supposed to affect credit. Stay clear of this place and their shady practices. When confronted with this information they were extremely rude and hung up on me. Update: Upon speaking to them again I was told that GM Financial ran the hard pull, but in the dealership name? I don't think so. GM Financial would not explicitly state the prequal would not affect credit if it in fact did. That opens them to liability. Don't lie to people and think it's okay. Be accountable for what you do. The credit inquiry is in the dealership name. GM Financial cannot run the inquiry in the business name. That was done internally at the dealership. Stop lying! I know they are lying because I have done prequals with GM Financial in the past, and it NEVER resulted in a hard pull until now. read more

The staff at Quality Buick GMC are absolutely the best! My wife and I were on our way home to Minnesota and we had issues with our GMC Yukon. They took care of us from the minute we walked in to when our vehicle was repaired. This all took place in an absolutely short amount of time. The service department gets a 10 out of 10. If I lived in Albuquerque this is the only dealership I would ever consider using! Absolute terrible Customer Service Department! We have called to schedule service and left several voicemails and no one ever answers in the Service Department. Their voicemail states "We will call you back in 30 minutes." They NEVER call back. We have left many messages and always get the same "We will call you back in 30 minutes" and never get a call back. I called Quality Buick GMC Mazda to work a recall issue on my vehicle. To my surprise, they worked me into their schedule within the week. The morning of I made it in about 15 minutes earlier than the stated time. I asked about how long the repair would take and the guesstimated 2 hours, so I took to the lobby to write reviews. I was a little surprised by the length of time estimated until I hit the lobby and saw several people waiting. They were done just shy of 2 hours and they also gave me paperwork showing me what maintenance was due on my vehicle for the next major upcoming mileage mark. I also enjoyed perusing around the showroom...maybe an upgrade one day. Aside from this visit, I popped in to this dealership about six months ago with both of my FOB remote batteries dying. I can't say enough how much I appreciate Quality GMC! I went in looking for a truck and got sticker shock after seeing the price. I spoke with Ben Gonzalez, my sales person, and he said that he was going to treat me right. Well they all say that but he certainly kept his word! For a truck that was, in my opinion, ungodly expensive, we work the numbers and came to a reasonable amount. Then I had my trade-in appraised and got a great deal for it! When it was all over, I drove away in a truck I didn't think I could ever own or afford. Payments are very reasonable and doable! After purchasing my 2020 car recently in the same place, I took it for the first oil change. I didn't have any issues until I picked my car up. I left the place with two sensors going off. I called back right away and they told me that the "check tire" sensor will go away after driving the car for a few miles. I drove back to work/home and woke up the next day with a completely flat tire. I called back but they didn't care. They told me I must of pick up a nail leaving the shop. i had to tow my car to VW o get the tire replaced and pay for a new tire. If a customer orders a part it needs to be the correct part that fits their vehicle. I took my in for a oil change and a burnt out headlight. They called 2 hours later and said it was ready. When I arrived to pick it up I checked the headlight and it had not been fixed. They said I had to start my process all over again and it took another 2 hours. The checklist they gave me even showed it was checked off as ok. My 92 year-old mom was told she couldn't drive anymore, so I was sent to Missouri to get her 2014 Buick Encore, drive it to California and present it to my daughter and her husband. Somewhere a few miles east of Albuquerque, the check engine light came on. It was 4:15pm and, somewhat nervous, I called Quality Buick-GMC and told the service advisor I was in transit on I-40 and would like to stop by for a quick check. The service advisor told me he was sending his techs home at 5; even if I got there soon he was swamped and couldn't get to the car until "next week." No sympathy for a traveler and his plight. No offer to "bring it by and we can at least have a look"...no expert advice like "did you check the gas cap...?" I asked if he could recommend someone who could help me locally and he said "no." I would suggest that brand loyalty sometimes starts with dealership service writers, and this guy--and this dealership--barely deserve one star. As an aside, I called a friend who has a similar car, and he offered four suggestions of simple items to check...and sure enough, it was a loose gas cap. "Very common problem..." my friend told me. You would think the service writer could have offered some advice like that. Maybe it's time for retraining at this dealership. At the least...some attitude adjustment might be helpful. read more

The whole process was easy and straightforward and I truly felt that Joe fought to get me the best price possible on my new/used car. Purchased a NEW 2017 Terrain from the dealership in June of 2017. Immediately the Air Conditioning system went on the fritz. After three years of trips back and forth to the service department, and three summers of unreliable air conditions, the dealership has done absolutely nothing to try to repair the vehicle. The vehicle came with a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty that was in the end useless. Not a slice screw was turned or nut tightened in an attempt to repair the NEW vehicle that I purchase. So here I am, the consumer, no protection, no compassion or assistance form the dealership. Paying for a new vehicle that never worked appropriately. Had the dealership reached out to the manufacture to document the issues that I was reporting the vehicle would have been classified a lemon. But the service department never did this, they just scratched their heads and sent the car home not working. Maybe buy from a dealership that stands behind their service, who will do something to assist their customers when something goes wrong. FURTHER UPDATE: I purchased a new vehicle at Quality GMC in June of 2017. Since then I have experienced both transmission/torque converter issues and well as major AC issues. I have brought the vehicle in time after time. And time and time again I have been sent home with a non conforming vehicle because you guys could not "reproduce" and issue. My AC was finally worked on in September. We will see if it is actually functional come summer. The transmission was reset once. The issue has persisted. I brought my vehicle in this morning, for the ongoing transmission issue, and was told that I would be charged for the diagnostic even though I am still covered by my powertrain warranty and this issue is know about my vehicle to the service department. Once when they answered, I got transferred around till my only option was , you guessed it, voice mail. They have charged my account (via PayPal) but after 4 days have no provided confirmation or shipping information. Alternate phone numbers are not answered. Stay away from them. Now it will have to wait up to three weeks to get my money back. I recommend using a Credit-C not PayPal. And stay away from these jokers. I ordered the same parts from Summit. Site listed what was in stock and when it would ship before I even hit the buy button. Order was delivered two days later. My car had a power steering issue and I was just passing through on my way to Kansas. I went to another shop they told me they would have to replace the whole power steering for $600 plus labor. Worst Service and Parts department experience I've had. My wife went to purchase a new key for our Yukon Denali due to family circumstances we couldn't control. The service department told the parts department they only needed one key to program it instead of 2 telling my wife she could have our $70000 truck back by close of business today. They failed to tell my wife that they needed two keys instead of one leaving her stranded in ABQ with two little kids, no clothes or a place to stay. The floor foreman was rude and lacked the customer service required for a position of leadership at a premium dealership. If you buy a vehicle here, it's a great experience. Worst experience at a dealership in my entire life. Within a week my car died, and they acted like I should fix it. On top of that, they told me I would have 45 days until my next car payment... My experience has been nightmarish to say the least. I ordered a part from them on 12/5. After several unsuccessful attempts by phone and email to verify the shipping address for the order immediately after placing it, I sent an email on 12/6 cancelling the order. To that time I had received no confirmation that the order was even received by them. I then received a shipping confirmation and sent an email telling them that I had cancelled the order. After advising them that I had actually received the order, they responded with an apology and offered to send me a return label with instructions telling me that there will be no refund for shipping and a "restocking fee" of 15 to 35%.
