Worst taxi ever. Called was told by the rude ass dispacher it will be half an hour.. An hour and a half later they show up. The woman driver then told us she had to stop at her house before she picked us up. The car was old as hell and beat up. Overall ill stick to lyft. read more

Tonight (Monday, February 17th/18th) I found myself stranded at work after my car's front two tires deflated in the cold. I was on Route one in Attleboro, Ma- but the taxi service there (Houle's) apparently closes at 10pm. It was midnight. I looked up the nearest cab service and Quality cab was it. Service: I am so glad that I called them. They were very polite over the phone and gave me a quick estimate for the cost of a ride. There were also surprisingly fast at picking up. The driver, whose name I wish I had gotten, was very friendly and professional. The car was spotlessly clean and warm - quite a feat given how snowy the weather has been. The meter was clearly visible and the route the driver took was direct. I would definitely call them again. Cost: The estimate was high - but reasonable given the circumstances: They needed to drive across state lines just to pick me up. Then they had to drive the 4-6 miles into the center of Attleboro to drop me off. That left their driver outside of the service area and unable to take on any other fares for close to half an hour. To drive across the state line incurred a $5 surcharge and their meter rate was, i think, $2.50/mile. Because the driver took such an efficient route, the ride turned out to be about $10 less than the estimate. Out of fairness to their business, I won't disclose the final cost, but I was happy to pay it. Quality Cab made a bad night much better. read more

I just had a very difficult experience with these people. At about 2:15, as Hurricane Michael rains were getting bad, my friend, who is severely handicapped and I called for a ride to the bank. Round about 2:45 we called to find out where they were. Close to 3 we finally got word they were about 50 street numbers away and could we walk there? My friend lives off his VA pension. He cannot even stand up straight and doesn't have a coat for this weather. The next time they called we got connected to the driver who said his windows were too fogged up to go looking for us and we had to walk. I told him my friend is severely handicapped. He seemed not to be paying attention. I called my brother who this once agreed to drive us. I called them back, and when I identified us by our address the dispatcher yelled we had told him we were at the other address. Which we did not. I told him we'd made other arrangements and of course they hung up on us. My friend is still severely handicapped and I still can't reach his case worker to beg her to put lyft or uber on his phone. read more

I've called 3 times and it's always "they're just a couple minutes behind" if they were honest about how long it would take in the first place I wouldn't be so aggravated. I called for a cab after shopping and it was raining pretty bad and the guy answered being a smart ass and then shows up drives right past us and calls me back saying i came i waited im gone..worst experience ever.. Quality Cab's service is poor to non-existent. We are a business and often have clients who need transportation to the train station or airport and despite calling in advance and confirming the cab, they fail to show up and we don't even get the courtesy of a phone call. We will NEVER call them again. In fact, they go by several names; Royal Cab and Checker Cab. Cab service in general is poor to non-existent in the Pawtucket, RI area, so if you need transportation when you're in the area, you should make arrangements with friends or neighbors and don't count on Quality Cab. read more

Im a bartender in the area...i called Quality cab to assist me in getting a guest home...the operator was so rude. Said he didnt have to bring a drunk home if he didnt feel like it. That he was the only cab that services the area and wished me good luck in finding another one sarcastically. Cabs are meant to bring people home when they arent able to! I wish I could give this terrible service negative stars because this is the absolute worst taxi service I've ever taken in my life. First, they are consistently 10-15 minutes late no matter how early in advance I call them. Second, they have meters in their cabs, but they shut the meters off before you arrive and then charge you way more than the meter would have said. Third and most offensive, I have been hung up on on multiple occasions by the operator who, when I can keep him on the line, has always been nothing more than gruff and unfriendly. They have a monopoly on the cabs in the area, which is why they think they can treat their customers like that. Thank god I'm moving out of the area soon and will never have to deal with these horrible business practices ever again. read more

Called last night and asked to reserve a cab for 1145 am, noting that we needed to make it in time to the train station for a specific departure. They took our reservation. The next morning they called at 1030 am to confirm that they were still coming. At 1155 they were still not here, we called and found out they would be at least another ten minutes! Absolutely unacceptable. read more

The worst cab service I've ever dealt with. I simply called the cab so that my mom would get picked up from the store. When the guy heard I called for my mom he rudely said no and hung up. Try other services like Uber or in my case a different company like Slim Taxi, you might save your time from talking to some smart ass behind the phone. Define Quality! I called the night before to request a 6am pickup. Then just to be sure I called at 5:40am to see if they were sending someone and they assured me they were. Then they call me to tell me that there going to be late but they will get me to the train station on time. At 6:18am I call to see were they were. They get on the radio with me on the line and ask the driver where she was and to my dismay she was still in process of dropping someone else off. Which in turn made my wondeeful girlfriend late for work because she had to drive me. Perhaps they should change the name to We Don't Care Cab or Late A lot Cab. read more

Just as Eli said, the operator is rude and quick to hang up on you. They charge more than the meter displays, and since there is no alternative cab in the area, you can't dispute it, unless you want to walk for the remainder of your stay in Central Falls. My advise to you is to either buy a car or pay one of your acquaintances gas money and avoid this crappy company like the plague. read more
