When we brought it up he said "it'll wear down over time". We've since contacted him with multiple issues that have come up, with no response. Our concrete is flaking up, discolored, chipped in areas with wood exposed underneath? Also the brush finish is not consistent at all. Smooth in some areas and VERY abrasive in others. Our neighbors also had a concrete retaining wall poured by him, that's tipping over. All in all, I would not recommend Straight Up Concrete if you want a quality finish.

They were all respectful and worked hard. Demo, framing, base laying and compaction, rebar, and then the pour all were done well. A section of one slab cracked overnight, as concrete sometimes does, and Andy immediately offered multiple options to make it right. I elected to have them cut out that sector and repour it, which they did the same day I requested it. I was very happy with the finished product, with Andy's communication, and the price was reasonable for the work. I would highly recommend Andy and his team to anyone looking for residential concrete or paver work.

I have been very pleased with the results, which have really elevated my enjoyment of my home's outdoor areas. I would also caution anyone considering going with System Pavers to steer clear of those crooks. I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. It was an expensive mistake that I hope to save others from repeating. If I had gone with Pacific in the first place, I would have saved lots of money and hassle.
