We were looking at Luxury Vinyl floors and took home several samples. Upon returning to the store with one that we wanted to get quoted, etc., we had a poor experience. We walked in and there was one man, which we believed to be the Owner and his dog. Nobody was in the store but my wife and I. We walked and was approached by their dog. I explained that my wife is frightened by dogs. The man said that is a good dog and would not bite us. I explained that this is not the issue, and that my wife is afraid of all dogs, friendly or not. He still did nothing as we stood in their showroom by the door. I walked in and tried to keep the dog away from my wife and a woman from the upper floor, yelled down at me to stop trying to keep the dog from going where he wanted to go, which was towards my wife. She said I would upset the dog.. I said, what about upsetting my wife? I asked if they could put the dog somewhere while we were there and she snapped back, that this is there home and the dogs home and they have no doors and the were going to let the dog go where it wanted. I finally dropped the samples on the table and said, we are done and will leave. This company cares more about their dog then their customers. I love dogs but, I believe a caring owner would care about others concerns, especially trying to run a business. We think they must do alot with builders and do not care about the residential one off owners looking for flooring. Beware, they may be hard to work with you have installation issues! read more

Screaming children loose in the store, uncontrolled bulldog floppy about drooling on my feet and a sales person remarkably uninterested in discussing our request for a quote on an approximately 850 sq ft purchase and installation of medium to higher quality, brand named product. We mentioned we wanted to price shop a specific style and manufacturer and she indicated she carried the product. She then asked where we had gotten our pricing offer ($$$ not disclosed to this sales person) and we said just up the street...well that was apparently the wrong response because she immediately shut down the conversation and suggested we leave her store and hire her competitor. I turned my back to leave and she continued her rant to my wife. I left the store and my wife followed a few seconds later. Needless to say we were both stunned by this SALESPERSON'S demeanor and lack of customer consideration. I suppose this company's markups are way above their competitor up the street and they cannot compete on installed price for medium to higher quality products. Website says this is a second generation, family business...appears the second generation has some learning to do about sales and customer service. read more

I used this company about 6 years ago for replacing my bedroom carpets and they were great, so I went back to them. They were good in the beginning, however, they wouldn't return my calls or emails, so I would just show up at their store. When they finally put me on the schedule to have my floors replaced from the hurricane, it was January. They were schedule to take up the old floors on February 20 and did that. It took 2 days and then the new floor was scheduled to be installed on February 22. I got a call from my sales rep who informed me that the truck did not have my flooring on it and that it would be delivered the following week. It did not arrive to be installed until March 13. Again, my calling and leaving messages did not result in return calls. Then the new floors were installed and they were supposed to install the baseboards. Again, delays on getting someone here to do the work was time consuming. Finally the baseboards went in and the installer did not caulk. I was told he should have caulked but didn't so I had to wait more time to get someone here to do that. They sent their project manager, who, by the way, was the only person who listened to me about how some of the items were installed incorrectly, etc. He said he would fix a lot of the items which he did until the owner or manager, or someone told him that he wasn't to fix some of the items like the way they installed my bathroom floor and then didn't put a transition or anything on the door opening. Then they had the nerve to call me about my bill, saying the job was finished and I needed to pay the balance. I told them it was not finished, and they sent the project manager out again and I was told he couldn't do anything about the tile floor in the bathroom. He also said they sent a paper for me to sign to say I was happy with the results. I wasn't happy, but they weren't going to make me happy since they did not fix the bathroom floor. I signed the paper but I didn't want to get the project manager in trouble since he was the one who fixed most of the items. I just paid them to get them to leave me alone. Their customer service skills are nil and I would not use them again. The product was good but the service and timing were not. Please make sure you get things in writing or be prepared to wait for them to send installers, return your calls and emails. It seems they are more interested in their commercial accounts than they are their residential accounts. When you spend $17,000 on flooring, you expect a little customer service. If you know a good contractor, use them instead of this company. read more

Went there this morning to see about getting carpeting. Salesperson was standing inside the door and could not have been more unwelcoming--she was not helpful --gave some information unenthusiastically and then when we told her we would not be able to wait 2 months for installation she informed us no one in the area could do it sooner because the installers are backed up. We went up the road to another store where the sales person was more than happy to help us --spent the time--gave us a lower price --SMILED, and our carpet is scheduled for installation in two weeks. If you have a competitor right up the road you should be pleasant to potential customers that walk in your door. The store looked to have very nice products and probably does good work--but a first impression when you walk into a business is very important. This woman needs to be retrained. read more

Last October I had Quality Carpet install new carpeting in my bedroom. Upon completion I noticed that there was a jagged edge where the new carpeting abutted against the wood floor. Several calls later and missed appointments to fix this, the unsightly edge remains. When I call to remind staff that no one showed up as scheduled the response would be "I forgot", "someone will be there this week", "we are coming today ". The customer service is inefficient and incompetent. Purchase your carpeting elsewhere. read more

I shopped some local carpet stores, including the "big box" just down the road. I found Quality Carpet offered a better choice and a better quality than the big box for less money. The installation was timely and the installers did a good job in a short time. read more

The carpet was ok. But the installers cut a curve wrong, and didn't get it tacked down right. Had to wait about a month to get them to come back. It staying down now, but is not fit right and i can feel some of the nails. read more

We used this vendor at the request of our builder. Everything they touched was a disaster. They did a very nice job laying wood look tile in our entire first floor, but we are still cleaning unsightly mastic stains from this floor and the bathroom tile floors. Additionally, the master shower drain was clogged with grout cement and spacers. The plumber had to cut out 3 ft of pipe under the house to correct. Several times they told us they would work the next day and did not show up. Multiple issues with kitchen and laundry backsplash material led us to use another tile company. The upstairs carpeting was cut in too many places and noticeable seams have been commented on by many people. I feel sorry for Kyle because he was left to clean up after every mess. Nicole needs to decide whether or not she wants to be in this business. Our builder certainly won't use this company again. I wrote this review on Google and it wasn't published, so I would not trust Google reviews. read more
