I was overcharged and treated like a criminal when this guy is actually one. I wish I never bought my cart from here!!!!! It's costed me over 2k to repair in just one year. This place is horrible....run away!! Sells you a new paint job and new seats for 7k and doesn't tell you cart is 20 years old and engine is shot!! First day we had it I told him cart ran terrible. He sent out a guy who said nothing was wrong with it and if I called him again he would charge 100 bucks everytime. I have since put tons of repairs including rebuilding the shitty engine. I take no pleasure in writing this review about a local small business owner, but this is the only recourse I have since he is inexplicably unwilling to simply GIVE ME WHAT I PAID $16k+ FOR, a fully functioning golf cart where everything is in the proper place and working. Here are the lowlights of dealing with Reese Capozzi, owner of Quality Carts in Wellington, FL: -Told me 3-4 weeks to complete my cart, yelled at me on the phone in Week 7 for asking when my cart would be completed while behaving like he's building space shuttles instead of golf carts. -Told me he would be using a 2019 body Club Car Precedent as the base for my cart, serial number on cart is for a 2010 model. -Delivered my golf cart without working brake lights. Did not put a horn on my cart despite knowing I needed the cart street legal. Later found out the horn was part of the lighting kit I paid for that he claims was defective, causing the brake light malfunction. Clearly lied to me that he inspected the cart before delivery or this "defect" would have been discovered and corrected. -When I had the cart taken to him to fix it, he returned it with one working brake light and the dashboard not screwed back on. Had to cancel my first inspection appointment because of this. -Agreed to fix the problem the morning of my rescheduled appointment, showed up at his shop 40 minutes late making my cart transporter late for my appointment and delayed him close to 3 hours. -Agreed to compensate my transporter for the multiple attempts that were entirely his fault, gave him nothing leaving me to pay $450 to the transporter instead of the $200 fee I was quoted. -I had to pay Reese's friend to flatbed my cart to me despite the cart being in his possession due to his oversight. -"Fixed" my brake light problem by running an independent light to the back of my cart hanging off the hazard sign. Now I have wires out in the open that look terrible and are a potential hazard while the standard brake lights still do not work. Simply put, Reese has an inflated opinion of himself and his work and is lacking the people skills and accountability to own a business(or even keep employees for that matter). I cannot recommend using anyone other than him to build your cart strongly enough. ***If you still choose to do business with Reese and plan to have your cart get inspected to be street legal, you may want to call your local state run inspection center, as I was told but choose not to waste my time confirming, that the Palm Beach County inspection center will not be inspecting his carts any longer and that the State of Florida was informed as well. Again, I was told this but choose not to do the leg work to confirm it, just mentioning it so you can protect yourself. I am fully confident Reese will be responding to this review, most likely doing all he can to discredit me, but as a consumer like you all are, ask yourself the question: would the guy writing this review really waste his time if the product was satisfactory? Of course not... I made several attempts to get Reese to fix my issues and compensate me for additional expenses incurred and time wasted. Avoid this guy, he buys old salvaged golf carts from online auctions and replaces the bare minimum of parts to get them to run and paints them. THAT'S IT. He won't come back to fix his poor work and makes excuses over and over. I do not recommend him at all. read more

Run away from this place. I wish I would've read some of these reviews before purchasing this overpriced nightmare of a cart. I came to buy another cart after our previous cart was stolen from our backyard. Hoping to get my family's life back to normal, I quickly purchased a new cart from this guy. Now I feel like I've been robbed twice. After 1 week it stopped working. Had a golf cart repair shop pick it up. They said the controller unit was burned out. $325. Quality carts did help pay $225 of that. BUT, that wasn't all. The magnet on the speed sensor was cracked and broke the day after getting it back. After that, the plug receptacle would no longer work. The shop told me that the cart should never have been sold on that state. The shocks wouldn't bounce back anymore, I replaced those myself. I offered Quality Carts the chance to buy it back and keep the lift kit I had installed, all the extra I had bought and added, new tires, new controller, and new charge port. You think he wanted it back? Haha. No. He stopped responding. I peeled his sticker off since I've officially done more work on this cart than he did. read more

I have to agree with Debbie P who I saw also wrote a review. We had a very similar experience with Reese. Our Quality Cart Golf Cart was anything but Quality. We put a deposit on our cart in late August 2020 and didn't receive it until the end of September when we were told a 2 week turnaround. Everyone knows that during COVID things get delayed, but instead of being transparent we were constantly brushed off. That set the tone for our entire dealings with this company and we should have known better. When we finally got our delivery it was at 10 pm and we were unable to inspect the cart. The very next day when looking over everything there were a few things missing that were supposed to be a part of our purchase including, but not limited to, the speed code. When my husband texted him the next day he said he would take care of it. Weeks went by and no word from Reese to schedule someone to come over. Weeks turned into over a month when I reached out to him myself. I explained who I was and that things were left open ended on when we were going to get what we paid for. He was extremely dismissive of my phone call-so much that he said he preferred to speak with my husband since he was the point of contact he had been working with. I guess he didn't like a woman calling him out on his bad service. Needless to say he sent someone over only they had NONE of the things he needed to repair our cart. Moral of the story is we never received any of the repairs that we paid for originally and never heard from him again. I don't know how you run a business like this. I would never recommend this company to anyone. We were so displeased with the cart that we decided to sell it to purchase one that we knew would have all of the things we needed. read more

Quality Carts is anything but Quality! The service is awful and Reese keeps promising to fix problems...but doesn't get it done. We ordered a golf cart at the beginning of June with the promise of having it to us by 6/19/20. After numerous phone calls and text messages, we finally received it on 6/26/20. There were issues with it including a horrible high pitched noise when driving it, a ripped golf strap, and a cracked brake pedal. Additionally, it didn't have the speed control that we paid extra to get, so the golf cart didn't go above 13mph. Reese told us that he had to get it from China and it would be a while. Ridiculous !! Our local golf cart guy got it for us the day we asked and we had to pay him, so we lost money on that. Its now the end of August and Reese STILL has not contacted us about fixing any of the issues When asked, he keeps telling us that it's not important and he has other things to do. Out of good faith we paid him in full when he delivered the golf cart. BIG MISTAKE. He asked us for a 5 star review but there is no way that i can do that with the way he has treated us I guess you get what you pay for!! read more
