This is one of those places that is easy to over-look because it has always been there, essentially unchanged. But there in lies the charm. It must be twenty years since my last visit but it will now enter into my takeout rotation. The sign is correct. BEST GRINDERS IN TOWN! I ordered a medium Italian with everything and it was chock full of meat. I ate half of this meat bomb before work and finished it off when I got home. The medium is at least as big as a large from the "you know you chain", all for less than $7. You would be nuts to go anywhere else for a real GRINDER! read more

Fruit and veggie market that doubles as a sandwich shop. They aren't kidding when they say they have the best grinders in town. A small sandwich and a bag of chips will run you less than $7 and you'll be stuffed. Great portions, great quality sandwiches. Their chips selection is good, too. If you combine this with the local Seekonk meat or fish markets, then you can avoid going to traditional big box grocery stores. read more

I am in love with this place! - they not only have fruit, they have veggies, nuts, roots, honey, and other wonderful natural products. They also have a deli counter with grinders and whatnot, but I've yet to try that portion (so this review has no bearing on that) - all the food is fresh and if anything is a little "off" they give a tremendous discount - they label everything so you know if you're buying local, shipped in food, or organic food - $50 got me (and none of this is discounted) : pineapple, 5 jazz apples, 6 plums, 4 peaches, giant box of pumpkin seeds, 7 russet potatoes, 3 vidalia onions, 2 shallots, one garlic, one stalk of celery, one grouping of green onions, one bundle of lettuce, box of blueberries, box of strawberries, box of blackberries, 3 limes, bundle of fresh parsley, 5 cucumbers, and a few more things I can't remember off the top of my head. Talk about leaving the store happy! - takes credit cards and is located right off Rte. 6 in Seekonk with ample parking. It's also inside so if it's rainy you're good to go as well! read more

This roadside fruit stand has a good selection of fruits and veggies (both conventional/organic and shipped-in/local. They have a little stand for Rhode Island goods (Johnston, RI made sauces, Aquidneck honey, other goodies) near the deli. At standard grocery stores, you never know how many bruised fruits and veggies might be lurking in the display stands, but at Quality Fruitland they take care to pick the slightly damaged but still edible goods off the shelf and sell them at a steep discount if you aren't that picky. Good prices and good people, worth stopping by to see what they have in season if you're nearby. read more

Wow! I'm so glad I found this place after a recommendation. This cute little shop had ample parking. The produce was absolutely fresh and the prices are great. I appreciate the selection of stonewall, some of which I've never seen before. I saw on yelp that the sandwiches were good so I got a medium roast beef for lunch. Again amazing. Let me start off by saying... BEST ITALIAN GRINDERS EVER!!! They are HUGE, made to order, and CHEAP..... A large Italian grinder is enough for 2 to 3 people. I have even cut one into strips and served them as an app at a party... The florist shop has some of the most beautiful arrangements i have ever seen, not cheap by any means but you get what you pay for! They have a huge assortment of fruits and veggies and is set up like a roadside farm stand. Great! Now I'm craving an Italian grinder.... read more

This place has really good sandwiches. The deli gets very busy so it tends to take a while to get a quick bite, but as long as they didn't run out of bread you will be happy you waited. They also have awesome fruits and veggies and nice flowers. read more

I have had really good experiences with this small produce stand/deli. They have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables available, as well as a small selection of dairy products and condiments, and even plants. The homemade chicken soup and kale soup have always been delicious. My family even comes here every year to get our Christmas tree and wreaths. The reason I always go back though is that the people working there are so friendly and helpful. read more

Do not use QUALITY FRUITLAND for your flowers. ( unless you are giving them the freedom to do whatever they want) They will give you THEIR vision, not yours. So nice in person then your flowers come wrong on your wedding day and all of a sudden it's your fault! They don't believe in customer service. They say that as long as the flowers show up ...you are not entitled to any kind of compensation and you, even if they are the wrong colors and wrong flowers! Then they tell you that because they have been in business for '30 years' that you are wrong and they are right. 'They've never made a mistake." DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you used Cathy, make sure that you asked for a contract! Because she will just scribble all over a piece of paper and you will never get a copy for yourself so when it comes time to prove that they messed up you don't have any evidence. read more

All about the grinders here! They do have some great local produce but price is a little higher than I'm comfortable with. Their grinders are amazing however, and a large feeds two easily. Buffalo chicken grinder is great and also will normally get there chorizo and peppers! Great price, everything is so fresh as well, I recommend this place to everyone. read more

Love Quality Fruitland! The fruits and veg are fresh and fairly priced, the take out sandwiches are delicious, the soups and chili is homemade (yum!) The people who work there are always in a good mood and helpful. The flower arrangements are stunning and very fairly priced. I love when they get local strawberries, the tiny, yummy ones (not the gross GMO Driscoll brand behemouth ones.) They go on sale 2 for the price of 1 if they get a bit soft. I buy them all and freeze them for winter. They have a counter with "day old" stuff and I load up on fruits and veg there! read more

I get lunch here 2-3 times a week. The soups are delicious and you can't beat the grinders.

There's something about this place thats really undefinable. The owner and staff are friendly, honest, and helpful, making the shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Their produce offerings are eclectic and in some cases unique. While that's all well and good, what truly separates this establishment from your local supermarket, and even whole foods (gasp!) is the quality of the product. The owner buys higher caliber fruit to begin the screening process. Next, they individually inspect the fruit and eliminate any possible duds. The end result is simply some of the best fruit you can purchase. So thats the produce- The grinders are another story and for my money the BEST in town, like the sign says. Bottom line, are you going to spend a few extra nickels per pound of apples? Yes. But those few extra nickels upgrade you from a Toyota to a Mercedes. Quick shout out to fellow toyota drivers out there. HOLLAA! Hit up the QF, pick the brain of the staff, figure out what seasonal offerings are popular and feel good about helping out a local business and great family. read more

Great selection of fruits and vegetables, and sandwiches are also pretty good. Everyone is friendly except for the young guy at the deli. Not the one with the goatee (mike I think) the other one. Has brown hair brown eyes, tatoos. Every time I come in at 5 o' clock to get something at the deli he makes comments about how the deli is supposed to close or something. When its actually open til 530. He says it blatently in front of me. I litterally just went in to get a pound of turkey at 5:10 today and he made a comment to the nice short women that also works there like "good thing you kept it out" or something, then she said something about her missing summer, and he said something like "why so it can be all hot and sweaty back here" And that was the least ive heard him complain. I live across the street and find myself buying food from cumberland farms instead because i dont feel like feeling guilty about a pound of ham. Little advice for rude guy: If you cant handle your little part time job making sandwiches, try working 11 hours and then going to get food for lunch and listening to some punk complain about your purchase. read more
