My husband and I are completely satisfied with our new kitchen. A year ago we bought a house and…read moredecided to completely renovate the kitchen because the house is very old and was in need of a little upgrade. We went to Express Kitchen in West Springfield and Darlene took care of us. We gave her the dimensions of our kitchen and what she envisioned for our kitchen was something truly special. She advised us to knock down a small wall in order to expand our countertop space and allowed us to put in a larger refrigerator, which was one of the best ideas she suggested for us. She also added in a wine rack I'm obsessed with. We also use that counter space as our alcohol bar, convienently below the wine rack. Darlene created a layout of our kitchen on her computer and once we all agreed upon the layout, Kyle & I picked out our cabinets, granite, hardware and other items for the kitchen. Darlene spent so much time creating our dream kitchen for us and we are so thankful. Our kitchen came out better than I ever could have hoped and we are both very attached to it. I've never had so much space to cook & bake before. My husband and I actually enjoy cooking together because there is so much space we don't ever get in each other's way. We know we will continue to enjoy our kitchen for years to come. Anytime someone comes to our house they always compliment our kitchen and express how big, open and bright it is. We cannot thank Darlene enough for all of the hard hours of work she put in creating, designing and finalizing our kitchen. And we have recommended her to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen. Please see the attached photos to see how great it came out!

So we had spent 1.5 hrs on msi (granite wholesaler site) picking out our slab like July 12th we paid, 3.5 weeks we call cause we haven't heard anything from them Greg says he doesn't know anything about it and makes an apointment to refresh his memory. So a week later we go back in and sit down and ge proceeds to tell us that we really didn't pick anything out and we have to re choose a slab and Boston MSI doesn't have a polished slab we want but there's one in NJ... and he proceeds to tell us we have to drive to Elizabeth nj to pick out a slab and say "oh that's a pisser" sucks to be you. We both are upset.. he then proceeds to tell us he doesn't need our shit and said ill refund your money it doesn't matter to me.. We said fine and walked out and went to home depot and purchased the granite counter tops..

The contractor suggested Kitchen Associates (KA), which was perhaps the best vendor on our list. The Sterling location isn't very close, but the service, personnel, and goods more than compensated for the extra miles we had to drive to get there. This two-floor establishment has sample kitchens set up with every type of cabinetry, hardware, counter covering, pantry, and hardware imaginable, so you could picture what your own space could possibly look like. We brought in pictures of our then-kitchen and asked for suggestions on how to modify it. Jay, the owner, took our paperwork and rough measurements, and in 30 minutes came up with a beautiful plan that would accommodate everything we wanted...at no charge. We chose the cabinets and layout, and were then directed to a granite place where we chose the slabs. Prices for the cabinets and installation, etc., were very reasonable, and the installer was fabulous, clean, and quick. The result is a great new kitchen with a large pantry closet and a center island. Edit: We also purchased our bathroom cabinet/sink from KA, and they put in a rush to have it manufactured and delivered (took about 2 weeks from the time we ordered) when I told them that our builder was anxious to finish. The original vendor for bathroom stuff screwed up and never ordered the cabinet (the salesperson I had spoken to also had an attitude). KA came through. Five stars for excellent customer service and product.

The price and timeline were reasonable. Jim showed up on the day he said he would and was done in by lunchtime, overall we are happy with the results. Just a couple of things that I was a little disappointed in. There was a lot of old caulking from the previous walls which was hard to remove. When Jim put the new caulk in for the new walls it mixed in with the old caulking so I cant get rid of it all. Also the plumber was supposed to look at the drain to make sure everything was working properly, Jim forgot to remind him and told me he called him but I have not heard from him

We visited many showrooms, including the most advertised on TV. We were excited by the designs offered, but a little taken back by the price. Jim and his Berkshire Bathworks crew were contacted and promptly arrived to assess our needs and give us a price. The price was competitive with the national chains. It was NOT a one day installation, but Jim was very forthcoming about the actual time frame for completion. Every question and concern we had was addressed. The time frame was off by a couple of weeks due to the special order of the glass shower enclosure. [It arrived with the installation holes on the wrong end of the glass, hey, it happens. The last time I made a mistake was 1957] Jim went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The job is beautiful and a complete makeover. We are very happy with the outcome. One last thought, my wife fell and broke her hip two weeks ago. I called Jim on Tuesday, 01/01/19, about installing a grab bar in both bathrooms. He was here this morning, 01/03/19, and installed two new grab bars and would not take any compensation. He is a gentleman and a meticulous worker. I cannot recommend Berkshire Bathworks more highly. They are the best.

This is our first bathroom remodel and it's fair to say that we were more than a little overwhelmed by all of the choices available. Thankfully, April is an old pro and understands the options inside and out. We booked an appointment with her for later in the week and within a couple of hours the decisions were made and we left with great confidence in the items we chose. One of the things we really appreciated was that the Ultimate Bath has a wet wall where they can demonstrate a broad range of fixed and hand held shower heads. There is no question that really simplified the process for us. If you're doing a remodel I would strongly encourage you to stop in and see April before trying to wade through the many, many, decisions on your own :)

She is very knowledgeable, informative, and offers impressive recommendations when needed. Her customer service and support, as well as prompt responses are very much appreciated. My husband and I first came to Torrco's showroom when we began looking into remodeling our master bathroom. Laura assisted us and immediately provided detailed information and answers to our questions or concerns. Our renovation was not a good experience mainly due to contractor related problems, and the completion dragged on for one and a half years. We also had several issues with product function. Laura was always there to help us deal with those issues, and provided invaluable assistance to see our project through to conclusion. She is caring, very well respected and is the ideal example of a sales consultant who provides outstanding and quality customer service; which in kind provides customer loyalty to your company.
