Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had with a company / never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect by professionals I've paid for a service. From the jump there were red flags; in retrospect I should have realized and not chosen them, but alas. Hopefully this review can save others the money and headache! Our HVAC system was antiquated and needed replacing, so I reached out to Quality Home. I was given a quote $3,000 over my budget. When I said as much they immediately said they could meet me at my price point which makes me wonder... Why the high quote to begin with? Where would that extra $3k have gone? The day of the install went okay. They took a few hours longer than they said they would which disrupted my workday, but fine - I can understand that. I was never sent photos of the condenser on the roof which I was promised - I had to ask a few times to get those. Our new HVAC worked well for a few weeks, then started randomly shutting off. During peak heat times. I'd come home from work to a boiling house. Our thermostat kept saying it was running too long with no change in temperature. I brought this up to my contact at the company - a director level guy - and he told me my thermostat was "trash" and it needed to be replaced. Me, knowing nothing about this stuff, went along and agreed to pay the $400+ for a new thermostat. It turns out that the actual issue was that the folx doing the installation wired the entire thing incorrectly. I was still charged full price for the thermostat/install and offered no apology. My old thermostat was better and easier to use. Fast forward a few months and I noticed our HVAC was leaking water. I called them in a panic as we were going out of town, it was the heat of summer, and I didn't want our cat to overheat. They were able to come out quickly (for a high fee) and told me the leaking was due to us not changing our filter frequently enough. I was again charged $400+ for this. It seemed weird to me that a dirty filter would cause leaking, but again... not my area of expertise. I took their advice and started changing our filter at the cadence recommended. Guess what? Still leaking. A LOT. This is definitely an HVAC issue, not a filter issue as our filters are pretty pristine. I've been trying to get in touch with my same contact (and others) for literal weeks and am being met with total silence. I want to talk to someone about this but it appears that professionalism isn't a value of Quality Home HVAC. Moral of the story? Absolutely go with a different company - I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. read more

BE WARNED. This company installed an HVAC system for me 6 months ago, which cost over $11k. It is already failing. They sent a tech to fix it the other day -- he claimed to have found & fixed the issue, but lo and behold, the next night, my home's temperature fell to 60 degrees (in the winter time). I have tried for almost 24 hours to get another emergency tech visit scheduled, to no avail. Every number leads to the same crappy automated central line, and everyone I speak to has told me "they can't get ahold of someone." I am going to be demanding a refund of the full cost of my HVAC system, as clearly it does not function. Terrible service, terrible product. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

No one showed up during the 2 windows we tried to schedule. The first day I called and I was told the technician hadn't left his house. This was 2 hours after the window he was scheduled for had ended. No one again showed during the window the next day. We called to cancel and left voice mails. No one ever responded. Then we were charged for a service that never happened a month later. I'd avoid all the Quality HVACs in the metro. It's laughable. read more

I worked for Quality Home HVAC from April to May 2025 and was promoted to Install Manager. I was supposed to be paid $1,400/week plus flat-rate for installs. I only received $1,500 via Venmo for the first week. After that, I worked four more full weeks and completed two installs -- totaling $6,000 owed -- and was never paid again. I provided my payment info multiple times and was repeatedly told pay was coming. It never did. I returned the company van and equipment in full. I've since filed a wage theft complaint with the Colorado Department of Labor. Multiple other techs have had the same experience. If you're considering working for this company -- or doing business with them -- be warned. read more

TLDR: RUN as fast and as far from this bait and switch practicing company as possible. I would put zero stars if yelp allowed. Bait & Switch warning story: I put in a yelp inquiry for a water heater conversion from gas tank, to electric tankless. Quality Home HVAC responded saying they'd be happy to help. They did an initial inspection and accepted the gig and offered what seemed to be a great deal with an up-sell for an AC unit install. I accepted the upsell. They came and started with the AC which wasn't what I NEEDED at the moment as my water heater is 12 years old and on its last leg. Installing my AC their tech left my furnace unassembled until 9pm during a blizzard because "he had to run home for an hour" at 2 pm. MY TENANTS (and myself) WERE RIGHTFULLY UPSET. And I had to compensate my tenants because of it. After days of non responsiveness they decided to tell me they were backing out of the water heater job because it was "impossible" AFTER THEY DID AN INSPECTION AND TOOK THE JOB!!! They were constantly giving me other people to try and talk to, none of which were actually helpful. The owner Curtis is just a slimy salesman, the other owner Candice is just a mismanaged Damage Mitigator, and Chris whatever his role is called me screaming at me because I told him my next step was litigation after they failed to get the permits and inspection for the gig prior to me leaving town on a month long business trip. I wanted them to inspect the work that they had finished and were so shady to deal with after they had my money. They failed the electrical portion of the inspection. I have receipts and photos of everything including conversations, the mess that was left after they "finished", and of everything else of this god awful interaction. Our AC went out during the most recent heat wave overnight on a Thursday. The soonest that other companies could get out to us was either a Saturday or upcoming Monday. We were considering a hotel for the weekend. The team at Quality Home made sure that we didn't have to take drastic measures. They fixed our AC the same day! Everyone we interacted with was professional and very responsive. They went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Highly recommended! read more

Avoid this company. They installed a hot water heater in our home. We discovered a few months later the installation was not up to code. When I requested that they fixed it, they ignored my repeated requests. It will cost me a lot of money to bring it to code. Then the company had the audacity to charge my credit card for a new service plan for the coming year. Run - don't walk - away from this company. I wish I had. read more

My five year old Nest thermostat gave up at 10pm right in the middle of Denver's record breaking December freeze. It kept needing to be recharged, which is something it never did before. After contacting several HVAC companies I found on YELP, I went with Quality because they were responsive, quoted me a fair price and could get me in for service the same morning that I called. Curtis was nice to work with on the phone and Justin and Allan came within the time window I was given. They could not have been more professional, kind and patient with all of my questions. Justin even showed me that there was a permanent filter in the furnace that I had no idea existed, AND he and Allan showed me how to clean it and re-install it. They made sure the thermostat was working properly before leaving and I could not be happier about the entire experience. read more

Great service, but pricey. I had Quality Home HVAC repair my attic system today. The scheduling was easy and uncomplicated. After an inspection, the faulty mainboard was replaced. Also, they recommended replacing the pressure switch with one that's recommended for the altitude. In total, I paid $700 ($170 for the switch, the rest was labor). Fortunately, the mainboard was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. They tried to sell me their service plan for $300 per system per year. This includes maintenance twice a year. However, I saw that competitors offer the same for half the price. All in all, hire them if you want the job done right. If you need to save money, you're better off with someone else. read more

They have assisted us with preventive maintenance packages as well as servicing our existing equipment. They show up when they say, they are on time, professional and bottom line they know the HVAC business and thoroughly explain what is going on and what options we have available, and they have our back in what's best for our company's needs. We discovered a very small gas leak in our 20+ year-old furnace one week before Thanksgiving. We contacted several HVAC companies for estimates to replace the furnace. Only two bothered to even return contact, and Quality Home was far and away the most professional and competitive estimate. We accepted their estimate and they scheduled the replacement for Wednesday before Thanksgiving day. Surprise! They contacted us the Friday prior and told us they could come out early - that Monday! They got the job done, put up with our endless questions, and everything was perfect! We've already recommended them to a few friends and neighbors, and will continue to do so. We're also going to take advantage of their scheduled maintenance plan. If you want the job done quickly and correctly, call these people. Don't even mess around with anyone else. read more

My house had forced air heat but no AC and I couldn't bear another Denver summer without AC. I called several contractors to get bids to add AC, but Curtis and his team stood out above the rest. They gave me several different options, clearly laying out the pros and cons of each, and let me make the choice that was best for my priorities. When it came time for install they didn't let me down, they showed up on time, got right to work, and were extremely professional the whole time they were here. A day and a half later I had a brand new central air system. The install work was done with care, on budget, and they left things cleaner than they found them. Also, while he was hooking the condenser up to my panel, the electrician noticed a few really dangerous things the previous homeowner had done in the panel. He could have just left them, but instead he fixed them on the spot for me. Besides the quality of the work, one thing I really appreciated, is that his team were awesome with my dog while they were at the house, which isn't something I can say for every contractor I've worked with, and made my life so much easier. read more
