Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. We had contacted a local company and, while the quote and scope seemed adequate, the plan for condenser placement was not great and I had sticker shock. So I went to YELP and found JL Martin. I am so glad I did! Jared toured the home, and came up with a great plan for a new system and was able to come in around 3K less that the previous company. I appreciated the 'out of box' thinking! This included working with the city permit process as well. The biggest hold up was actually the city acknowledging and passing the plan. Once that happened the JL Martin team scheduled quickly and the install was completed in under a day. The install team was incredibly respectful, explained everything that they were doing, and took great pains to be as unobtrusive as possible. They gave me the guidance on what to expect with the state inspection and city, made sure I understood what the filter requirements would be in the future and the city signed off within 10 days of install. American Home Shield sent us (Michael Tyrone Wolf/Wolfepack Co.) people who checked my unit in 5 minutes, proclaimed it was an electrical issue and left without checking anything else. Their boss even called me up the next day to raise his voice at me because I had the audacity to leave him a 1 star Yelp review. I'm so grateful I found Trevor's company online. I begged him to send someone out on a Saturday - so rare! But Eduardo came as promised, spent an hour thoroughly examining our unit, confirming there was no electrical issue, but gave us the honest diagnosis that as our unit was so old, it would be extremely difficult to source parts. He said he could put a bandaid on it and keep revisiting the issue or we could invest in a new unit and even lower our electricity bill that way. We took the second option - and we are glad we did! AJ, Pablo and Marco came bright and early on Monday to work on everything. As I worked from home, I did not hear a peep from them. They did everything quietly and were a well-oiled machine.
