Had to switch rooms, due to air condition not working in room. Upon switching rooms, there was brown spots on let out couch mattress, blood on pillow case, headboard dirty, trash left in refrigerator, and microwave not clean.

Stains on carpet
Dawn O.

This was possibly one of my worst experiences at a Quality Inn I have ever had. When we arrived shortly after 9pm we had to wait at the front counter for at least 15 minutes. Finally, after calling the 800 number and the front desk, we started yelling "hello" and finally a gentleman came downstairs to help us. He claimed he was assisting another guest. Walking to our room the halls were dingy and the carpets very filthy. Upon arrival at our room we tried both of our keys and neither of them worked. Finally, once we were able to get proper keys, we entered the room. The tile was broken in the entry, and the carpet was coming up at the seems. There were stains on the carpet and the furniture had dust and grime all over it. The window unit was working fine, but was causing condensation on the window which had clearly never been addressed. The condensation was pooling on top of the unit, and had created a moldy mess of the walls and side of the unit. It was so bad the wall was actually crumbling away in one spot. We did a thorough inspecting for bed bugs and saw no evidence thank goodness! The mattress was comfortable enough, but it was hard to relax knowing we could be breathing in mold spores all night. Not to mention the condition of the bedding which was stained and had burn holes. When you move, the tin base popped, which was very annoying! We had to resort to local TV options since we couldn't get the wifi to work, no password was given. The bathroom had been "mopped" but whatever they used left a sticky residue. I could not bring myself to walk in this hotel room without something covering my feet. The pubic hair was not obvious at first, but the more time spent in the bathroom area the more I saw it. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and brown stains dripping down the bathroom door. The towels were very used and worn, and there was a note from the hotel advising they were short on supplies. I could not bring myself to use the washcloth, it was stained and unraveling around the edges.

No smoke alarm, room door doesn't lock, deadbolt catch is literally falling out of the door w loose screws. Bathroom door doesn't even close! For $150/night y'all need to be paying better attention to the overall quality of service. It's a place to crash but unsettling

I was told to go around the corner to the public parking garage and take the elevator down to ground level and walk back... to be honest downtown is super sketchy on a Friday night after midnight. Lots of homeless people on the streets and party mode from ... locals? When the elevator opened, we were horrified to see a mostly undressed, homeless man laying on the ground outside the elevator, and then had to exit through a super dark and deserted alley. Bottom line I do not feel like this was a safe option for a traveling mom and teenage son. I communicated to the front desk and hopefully to Management that they should offer the public parking garage rate of $45 instead of the valet rate of $90 for the safety of their guests after 11 PM. The lobby is gorgeous at this hotel, unfortunately the rooms do not even come close. As a Hilton diamond member we were given a very small room with two double beds that was clearly updated last around the year 2000. It had a great view of the alley that we had just exited through. And as others have mentioned, the room credit for food was laughable... The only two options were to order room service, which I did within the $50 limit I was allotted and yet with all the add-ons my bill came to over $74. Or I could have used it in the coffee shop that had no real breakfast options. Bottom line, with the issues that I experienced this hotel was definitely not worth the nightly rate. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

It was every staff member. I chose self parking in the garage over valet. Plenty of parking and easy to access. The restaurants are good. I frequented Loaf + Vine Market quite a bit, along with Starbucks upstairs, then High Velocity, and the lobby bar. Nice to have solid options right in the hotel. The room felt luxurious with great amenities with wood accents in the foyer, floor to ceiling windows, a safe, mini fridge, full size ironing board, great bathroom, plenty of hot water (32nd floor), a nice desk area for working, and a good size TV. I identified Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown to stay during my weekend in Indianapolis…read morebecause of its distance from my relative, and it being near Monument Circle and the World War Memorial. Other than that, I loved that it is a Hilton hotel, and the fact that it was lower in cost by a lot once I utilized my Expedia OneKeyCash rewards. I must mention parking because it was one thing that made me selective of hotel stay in the area. At Home2 Suites, valet parking is listed at $45.00, but if you want to take a chance there are parking garages in the surrounding area which cost around the same price. I parked at the garage located within Regions Tower and paid only $50.00 overnight. And there is metered parking in the area, if you are lucky to find a spot. My experience with the receptionist working behind the counter was nothing less than professional. Since my room had already been booked through Expedia, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing of what the hotel offers, and giving me my room key. For your information check-in starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 12:00 AM! And check-out ends at 11:00 AM! Home2 Suites, as expected, appeared immaculately beautiful! After locating and entering the room I stayed in, I said to myself "Lovely" once I took notice of the room and its kitchenet area. It came with a refrigerator, dishwasher, a sink with garbage disposal, plus cabinets with dishware and pots & pans inside. Now the furniture in the room gave the room somewhat of a homely like feel. The couch, and the carpet on the room looked like something you would see in your grandmother's house I swear, tehehe. The workspace in the room had a rollable table along with a rollable chair. And inside of the bathroom, there were liquid hygiene products inside of the shower attached to the wall. Seems like hotels are slowly doing away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that make great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in-between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I was satisfied with the water pressure of it, as well as being able to toggle with the spray patterns. Other things the room came with that I noticed were an iron, ironing board, an extra comforter, and a few lamps with electrical outlets. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on weekdays, and from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the weekend; it was a relief to have the complimentary breakfast because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant in the area. Using a waffle maker for the first time ever was a fun experience I must say. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of what was presented for the complimentary breakfast. I would surely book with Home2 Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of my interest in the city of Indianapolis. ~ Good vibes coming your way ~ Thomas G

Just a few steps to the main monument in downtown. About 20 minutes to fountain district or the canal. Staff were very friendly. Our room was decently spacious. Nothing crazy but we were able to leave our suitcases open on the floor so that's a plus. Our room was clean and cleaned the one day we were there (2 nights). Bed was comfy no issues with that. The pillows were flat to the point that they must be fucking with me. I mean the minute you put a human head or anything with any weight on it, the shit would collapse to nothing. Does anyone like this? I had to literally fold my pillow in half to get any lift for my head. Please get new pillows. The towels were plentiful but a little rough. There was no blood or bodily fluids that I was able to detect. The shower pressure was FANTASTIC. The sink pressure however was not good and who knows if the tooth paste actually fully rinsed from the brush. The temperature was also all fucked up and had no clear relation to the position of the handle. One moment the same position would be scalding and the next, ice cold. I would like to be clear that this was for the sink faucet only. I did not hear the noise the other reviewers complain about despite facing the gainbridge fieldhouse. Not perfect. Not the four seasons but would definitely stay again.

I also had to crush TWO cockroaches on different days. On the 18th floor. Those buggers aren't just coming in from the cold; they've been living in the building for a while if they are up that high in numerous numbers! Housekeeping hours were also confusing; we didn't have the Privacy Please sign up during 3 of the days, but cleaning only came one of those days, and not until close to 5pm. I get all the way down there, just to move 2 rooms down after packing everything up and going down eleven floors, instead of them bringing ME up a new card for a new room. That is poor customer service. Let me be clear. They were not busy. I woke up at nine a m with a paper under my door. I received a charge of $585!!!!! Now let me just tell you, i went in my room and went right to sleep, because I was exhausted for my day of travel. This letter told me that I had been smoking in the room and charged me this amount. I immediately called down a customer service and was told that they would take it off when the manager came in at eleven o'clock. I was somewhat relieved at this, so I went on with my morning and got ready and went down and waited. The manager assured me that they would not charge my card and that I had not been charged yet. They went ahead and charged my card for the room. I checked my card and I had only been charged for the room and a $50 charge for a deposit. I left and went on with my day with a receipt, feeling confident that the manager had done her job. A couple hours later, I looked at my bank account, and I saw that I was charged after all . $585!!!!!! More . 4 hours later! I don't know if she thought I wouldn't see it or what! I called and she swore to me that I was in charge. So I sent her a snapshot and called her a liar. So then she told me that it would be removed and it would take 5 to 10 days! Can you believe that? They charge my card for something.I did not do five hundred and eighty five dollars and then tell me, it's going to take five to ten days to remove it! To top it off yesterday, i opened my bank account to see another $530 charge! This hotel has charged me $125 for a room, $54 for deposit and $530 that now they are SWEARING they have not charged me and calling ME A LIAR!!!! Let me be VERY CLEAR.... Our suite was plenty spacious and had a fun urban/industrial vibe with exposed brick. The bed was more on the firm side, but that is my preference anyway! If you don't wanna go anywhere in the morning, they did have a complimentary breakfast, but again it is so perfectly located between tons of great restaurants. My only knock was that the customer service experience at the desk was a bit different between the night staff and the morning stuff. The young woman who is working overnight, seemed very preoccupied and slightly annoyed when I had some pretty basic questions. This was completely contrasted by the young woman who was working in the morning. I saw her going above and beyond whether it was making sure the trash left for breakfast was taken care of or checking us out. Having worked in hospitality, I understand that anybody can have a bad night, but overall our stay was great and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone coming in town from one of the major events or anyone just looking to have a fun staycation.

I was in town for a conference, and last year I booked a hotel two months before it and my hotel was about a mile away (oddly enough, a Hampton Inn co-located with a Homewood Suites), so this time I booked in January. Customer service here was superb, from start to finish. After checking in, I received a text asking how everything was going, and during my stay I was able to send follow-up texts if I had questions or needed anything. In addition, I was able to borrow/sign out an umbrella one day when it was raining - there's a $25 fee if you don't return it that day, but it's a very nice service they offer. I realized I forgot a shower cap one day, too, and the front desk was able to provide me with one. Pros: -Huge and unique rooms. The building is from the late 1800s and has been repurposed into this hotel. I think my room was bigger than my first apartment! -Nice sitting area with a couch even though I had a king studio suite. Huge kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer, plus flatware and even cooking utensils. -Large bathroom area, although no bathtub, just a shower. -Free breakfast daily, and they even had almond milk and oat milk for cereal - I have to drink non-dairy milk exclusively and hotels rarely have it available. -Free cookies at front desk -The staff was super friendly, when I returned every day from the conference I was welcomed back Cons: -Very few from me, but: no safe in the room -Towels are small but that's normal for most hotels nowadays -Wifi was a little wonky - on my computer and work iPhone it was fine, and also fast, but on my Android/personal phone, texts were delayed. I'm going to chalk this up to my phone being weird. Overall I LOVED my stay here and would 100% stay here again. If you're in town for a convention, it's only a two-block aka five-minute walk to the convention center, too, which was great.
