Terrible. Not worth the price at all! $89 is way to expensive for this hole. Ceiling was falling apart in the room, carpet was old and torn, hairs on toilet and shower, we checked the bed for bedbugs just incase, holes in the sheets and towels, mold, etc. Freezer was chocked full of frost, I needed to use it for breast milk storage, overall crap. Bunch of creepy trucker guys standing by the side entry smoking cigarettes while I'm taking my 6wk old inside, rude, and sketchy. Don't stay here. read more

Disgusting!!!!!!! Do Not Stay Here!!! If you have any standards on where you lay your head this is not the place for you and the price for this filth is outrageous! Checked in at around 1:45 am after driving 3 hours. Got to the room and it smelled like wet gym socks. I felt dirty walking on the carpet and noticed it was damp. The fridge does not work. The flat screens in the photos look nothing like the actual TVs they have in the room. Only one remote no clue where the other remote is. The pull out sofa bed looks like it was taken out of a trash dump. I would not let my kid sleep on that nasty thing. The shower rod in the bathroom was broken at the tile so someone could cut themselves easily. The table is sticky and just nasty. Cracks in the counters and the microwave has to be the oldest one I have ever seen in a hotel. It may be just big enough for a snack bag of popcorn. They offered to change our room but after checking out the "upgrade" which was smaller smelled of smoke and just as bad I am now writing this review while preparing to check into another hotel. read more

First of all I need to say I am even MORE upset at this hotel. I booked through Choice Hotels and payed WAY more than those hotel sights. The hotel visit started at check in. I am a diamond member of Choice hotels and I asked for a room on the top floor in a quiet location when placing my reservation. The woman who checked me into the hotel was on the phone with a friend ( I assume) throughout checking me in. She never saw the request for a room on the top floor and had me on the 2nd floor. I asked about the request and she never read it (probably because she was on the phone not paying attention). She changed my room to a top floor room. As soon as I began walking down the hall towards the elevator I smelled SMOKE that smelled like marijuana. This smell permeated the 3rd floor as well. The hall way was NOT air conditioned and HOT. As I began to see other people staying in the hotel it appeared to be a place for people who were homeless. The third floor around the elevator was strewn with trash. My room was reasonably clean but I was given the user name and password for the internet and I NEVER could login. The TV did NOT work and the refrigerator did NOT work. I tried to call the front desk but nobody answered. The woman at the front desk was sitting outside with some man smoking when I got to my room that evening. I suspect she did not answer because she was outside smoking. The hotel was LOUD at night making it difficult to sleep. I could hear the woman in the next room talking really LOUD. I could hear her conversation (after Midnight!). There were a number of loud bangs in the night as well. The air conditioner in the wall under the window had 2 large wads of dryer sheets stuck in it to make the room smell decent. I have never seen such a hotel!!! read more

Do yourself a favor and stay and the comfort Inn on the other side of the interstate. This dirty hotel has the audacity to price themselves around the same price. Arrived about 7:30 and the front door was already locked! It wasn't even completely dark outside yet. The girl on the front desk buzzed me in and said she kept the door locked because she was afraid. Really? The neighborhood looked OK -- it's a fairly commercial area. Checked in without any problems and the room was OK. AC wasn't super cool, but it was tolerable. The next morning, when we checked out, our bill showed that we were charged $30+ for the room and it was supposed to be free with Choice points. Part of that was $1.50 charge for the safe which was not used. When I asked about that charge, I was told that I had to decline the safe at checkin....was told it was on the paper I signed that said we didn't smoke and didn't have any pets. NEVER had this occur. I explained that the room was no charge because of Choice points, but the clerk (probably new and not the same gal as the night before) and the person she asked for assistance had no explanation -- just that it was charged to my credit card! I took my receipts and said I would just call Choice (which is another whole tale!) and left. I did call Choice and got no resolution, so I called the motel back to speak with the manager. Was told that she wasn't there and would be in "sometime". I left my name, phone number, and a short message that my bill was incorrect. Guess "sometime" never arrived because I'm STILL waiting for a call and it has been 4 days!! Don't stay here!! read more

We stayed at this hotel for a cruise and it was a nightmare from check in. The front desk lady Sara was amazing but it stopped there. The house keeping staff said vulgar remarks about or family when the room needed new sheets due to them being nasty, the hallways were nasty with paper and debris everywhere. The smoke detectors were not operational and the elevator has not been serviced since 02/2018. I posted a few photos to show the damages and lack of cleanliness in 1 of the rooms. The first 2 rooms were both overpowered with cigarette smoke smell and the AC did not work in one of them, we had 3 rooms booked. We were told there were cameras facing where our car would be parked for the week said camera is hidden by an overgrown tree. The pool also went under "renovation" the same day we checked in, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The shuttle to and from the port was relatively easy once we received the correct information after being told 3 different things by 3 different people. My entire party was beyond patient and understanding with the issues but said issues were not taken serious nor addressed properly while we were there. Take advice and stay elsewhere if you're in this area. read more

Quality my ass!!! The walls are paper thin! They are booked with family reunions.... Kids are running up and down the halls, being obnoxiously loud. Told the front desk. The girl working was nice about it, but when the GM asked what room complained.... The GM who wasn't even working tonight told the girl working the desk to tell me that she heard my dogs loudly scratching at the door..... I just checked in tonight.... How did she hear that if she's not here!? And I have been with my dogs all night.... They never scratched the door once.... Oh and the bar area in the room was dirty and so was the bathroom..... Awful! The first room we were given smelled and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in a while. The door was damaged and there was human hair still in the bathtub. The second room was a little better. The bathroom was clean? The beds were made and it looked as though it had been vacuumed at sometime within the past week or so. The AC took all night to cool to an acceptable temperature, but then it was time to leave. First and last time we'll ever stay there. read more

Having a great stay here. They kick out the rifraff. When you let them know people are smoking pot, they kick them out. They could do better with keeping up with the towels. Breakfast is great with a wonderful lady that makes sure its hot and ready. On the weekends I have to leave at 630 in the morning and she makes sure there is hot food out ready for the team and I. She goes above and beyond. The front desk staff is awesome and always helpful. If I need an extra towel or anything they are quick to get it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are big, beds are clean and very comfortable. Plumbing here could use some work, the toilets flush a little slow and have to hold down the handle. Indoor pool and hot tub I havent had a chance to use yet, but I'm sure they are great. Are there some flaws, yes there are. Everything has its flaws, but being away from home cause I travel all the time, I can tell you that this staff makes it feel like home. I recommend staying here. read more

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at. The room was dirty, there were pee stains all over the fold away mattress, the carpet stunk, the bathroom had a drippy faucet....it was just creepy. We went down in the morning to have breakfast but the entire breakfast room had dirty tables and one employee just sitting there looking at us....We did not eat! We did leave a notebook in the room by accident. When we called to ask it be mailed back we were told that they found it and would send it back. 5 calls later....STILL NO NOTEBOOK. We then called Corporate Customer Service and they basically told us to Go to Hell! On top of that this hotel charged us for 2 nights instead of 1 so we have had to ask American Express to help get that corrected...DO NOT STAY HERE!!! read more

For the price, this should be so much better. It says it's a 100% smoke-free hotel, but our room reeks of cigarettes. The carpet is gross. The hotel is understaffed and under-supplied (I requested extra pillows when i made the reservation, but there were none available when I got here. We are very disappointed. read more

Dump!!!!!!! july 2nd we had two rooms for three days neither were cleaned no towels replaced until i went to the front desk to get them and only to find out that were full of someone else hair we walked around the room with our shoes on because the carpet was dirty and full of dog hair. Very nice staff I mean wonderful the rooms were ok not that great we stood there a month most of the time we had 4 rooms there me and my family was there for business the maids after so long did not even come to clean are rooms there was never enough towels to go around most of the maids were nice some u could tell they hated us like we made there life's harder but we cleaned are own rooms tossed are own trash the hallways almost always smelled like pot the ppl next door at the other hotel would come there and smoke out side and make it a real mess that you did not even want to go to the back door to smoke and they were iffy if you know what I mean the owner will tell you to smoke in the back because they don't like ppl smokeing to the front I never said anything to her tho I just told her ok if your going to stay a while I recommend you try to get the first floor the rooms was a little more cleaner the breakfast was decent but they did not mind if u wanted to go eat in your room witch was nice when they had a driver there he will take you on the shuttle to Walmart and they would be nice enough to wait for you but the resin I give 2 stars is because of the marijuana smell I would not recommend you bringing your kids there on that note but after everything the staff made up for all the bad if we needed something from the kitchen they would go out there way to help you read more

Horrible experience. Smelled like a wet dog inside. 1st floor under construction, saws and tools scattered all over the place. My small children could have been hurt if the picked up a tool. The pool was dirty and had dead bugs floating in it. The hot tub made a horrible screeching sound when you turned on the jets. Our room was dirty. The ice machine did not work on our floor. Rooms were outdated. The carpet in our room was sticky. We will never stay at a quality inn again. Very disappointing. read more

Our family evacuated from hurricane Matthew and this was one of the last motels with vacancy so we booked through Priceline. The hotel charged my card on top of Priceline and I'm now being told that neither parties can issue me a refund. Warning this motel lacks proper management and takes advantage of customers. My husband arrived at Quality Inn on March 5, 2017. He is taking his dental board licensing exam in Mobile Alabama and was suppose to stay at the Quality Inn for 5 nights. When he arrive to the Quality Inn he had saw there was some broken glasses in the parking lot which looked like a car was broken into on their property. He made sure to park very close to the entrance of the Inn. At that point he was pretty skeptical about this stay. He had checked in around 7 p.m.. and tried to log onto their free wifi which was listed in their main amenities. He wasted 2 valuable hours to log onto their so call free wifi. It was urgent because he had to go online in order to study for his exam. He also went to the front desk to find a solution on how to get the wifi working. The front desk couldn't get it working. So then my husband contacted me since I was the one who booked the reservation through hotels.com. I call hotels.com and had him switch to another hotel that has working wifi. So by that time my husband only stayed at the Inn for about 2.5 hours. I was notify by Hotels.com that Quality Inn is the one who is responsible to give my refund back because I had paid now when I made the reservation and on my credit card statement it showed Quality Inn is who received my money. Melissa, the manager at this location will not contact me. I have called numerous times to speak to her but she seems to be never there. Her customer service is awful. She needs to go to a customer service training in hotel management. She will never go beyond where she's at now with this kind of customer service. The reservation I had is non-refundable but Quality the Inn did not hold on their end to have all of their main amenities available to the paying customers. Because of their non working free wifi it was inconvenient and the cause of breaking the reservation. When the Quality Inn list things on their site that is available to the customer at all times, it is their responsibility to make sure things are up and running as it should be. A customer shouldn't be penalized by their mistakes. read more

We were in town for a basketball tournament for Friday and Saturday night. We made reservations for two double beds. When we arrived at 8pm Friday night, there was a long wait to check in. Some of the other parents of our large group were trying to check in and they said that there weren't any rooms with double beds left. When we were able to check in, the lady working at the front desk stated that the rooms with double beds weren't clean yet. They were recently re-carpeted and housekeeping was cleaning them at the moment. She "temporarily" put my family in a king room with a pull-out sofa. She would call us when the room was ready. We waited and waited and waited. My husband went to the front desk to see if our room was ready yet and the lobby was full of guests looking for the lady from the front desk. There were complaints of rooms smelling like smoke, toilets overflowing, etc. My husband sat in the lobby for 45 minutes and she never came back to the front desk. By then our children were falling asleep, so four of us slept in a king bed, and two slept on the pull-out sofa (no bedding for the sofa were provided, we improvised). The room was gross and there was a disposable razor left in the shower. Yuck! The next morning my husband spoke with a young man working at the front desk and explained what happened. He said that he would make sure that we would have a room with two double beds by 9:30. I returned at 10:30 from the basketball tournament to make the switch and he said that the room still wasn't ready, but should be by the afternoon when we returned. Well, guess what, we returned around 4:00 and there were no rooms available...he forgot to put us on the list to be switched to a different room. At this point the owner of the hotel was there. He had nothing to offer to accommodate our family. I stated that we would stay in the room if he would provide us with extra bedding and not charge us for the second night. He said he would not charge us for the second night, but guess what, we were still billed for two nights at this crappy hotel. A few of the families switched the first night and went to the nearby Holiday Inn, which is what we should have done. I have never had such terrible service at a hotel in my life. We will not return to this hotel and neither will the ten or so families that we brought to the tournament. What a terrible experience!! read more
