Horrible hotel!!! This hotel should be condemned! My family reserved 4 rooms over the past weekend. Everyone's room smelled bad. Two requested to change rooms but the new rooms were no better. The rooms smelled bad. The water in all rooms are yellow. The guest bathroom on 1st floor was out of order all weekend. You would have to go to your reserved room to use one. The ice machine on 1st floor did not work. You would have to go to 3rd Floor for ice. The towels were dinge. There is a permit posted on the door issued in March for remodeling but it was not apparent that anything was being done. We stayed at this hotel in 2021 & did not recall it until we checked in & the yellow water was a reminder. We won't make this mistake again. read more

The room was great! Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is being remodeled so be mindful when going thru the lobby. Cons: For a king bed, there are 4 small pillows but they were sufficient. The city - not the hotel's fault - has yellow water and there is info explaining the water is safe - NOTE there is bottled water in the lobby so the water is not an issue! I had a reservation booked at this property for the night of the 7th, My wife has Stage 4 cancer and has been in the battle for her life for the last 10 months. Undergoing treatment and completely debilitating side effects. We had booked a room for one night to visit some relatives, which she may not have the possibility to see again. She had a very bad attack and could not travel. I had to cancel the trip. This despicable hotel and manager denied my cancelation and refund request. Proving this company has no care and concern for the well being of it's customers. Obviously bills are piling up with the struggle we are experiencing, but this manager decided to charge us full price, and made no consideration for a dying woman. I strongly suggest you think long and hard about the ethics and morals of this property and company. read more

Traveled from Arizona to Alabama and then back. Stayed at several hotels along the way and this was the worst. Chose a pet-friendly room - huge mistake and will never do that again. The hotel carpets were dirty upon entering, and the room carpeting was beyond disgusting. I did not walk barefoot. The sheets looked clean but the bedspread was suspect. The room smelled horribly - was not sure I would be able to sleep there it was so bad, but we were exhausted. The shower did not drain properly and the standing water was brown. Hotel cleanliness has been a problem since COVID, but this was the worst - plus it was over $100 for the one night! We are getting a travel trailer now. read more

I don not recommend this hotel. the heater did not work and me and my two teens and family friend had to sleep in our coats. they charged us one thing and the when I called to let the hotel know our experience they hung up the phone while we were talking. the water was brown and the halls smelled like skunk marajuana. read more

I expected much more for this price point. The area is nice enough, but that is where the positives end. The entire building smells like cigarette smoke. The carpet in the hallways & a portion of the rooms look like it is from the 1960's...hence the cigarette smell. It was like pulling teeth to get them to restock the breakfast spread...which was deficient to begin with...compared to others (Garden Inn, etc...). I wish I paid an extra $10/$15 a night for a good experience. read more

This hotel has been recently remodeled and had freshened up their look. New carpet through out and the bed is comfy. Full breakfast included each morning which features a waffle maker, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. Not to mention coffee, cereal, oatmeal and juice. Best of all you can walk to the hooters next door and stumble back to the hotel. Good hotel for the price. read more

This was the only hotel with rooms, sadly. The rooms were terrible. The water was yellow and had a terrible smell to it. They say it's normal for Louisiana water but no where else has that issue. They need a major upgrade the toilet looks like it was never cleaned. Shower was gross. I'm glad it was only 1 night. Plus 100 dollar deposit for that kind of hotel? The air conditioner had a smell. My family & I have stayed at this hotel over the weekend. This was not the best experience. The first room smelled of mildew, the room appeared to have flooded. The receptionist changed our room but said that it was probably the air conditioner when you can see that walls were damp looking. The second room was better. The next morning housekeeping knocked on the door & walked right in. She did wait for a response before entering or even seem bothered that she walked in on us. The second morning housekeeping woke me 4 times before check out. Starting at 9:41AM. This hotel needs a upgrade & training. I do not understand why 3 different housekeepers attempted to enter prior to the 11AM check out. If you don't want any peace or sleep than this is definitely the place to get a room. read more

(i have an 85lb weimeraner.) user friendly wi-fi. tv options inconsistent. in room movie didn't work on one occasion; the next time had tv without in house feature but had showtime. only thing is, showtime didn't work. location is close to many restaurants. staff very accommodating. the hotels and restaurants in this area are packed on saturday nights. if you are staying on a weekend, make sure to book your room in advance. weekdays are not as much of a problem. extra charge for pet ($30). perfect place when all you need is to sleep and go. read more

This hotel is alright. I did notice that they allow people to smoke and drink beer in the front entrance into the hotel. Literally, drinking and smoking in your face as you are trying to go in to the front desk. The staff is alright. They take awhile to clean rooms. We couldn't get checked in until 3:30 even though we reserved these rooms in advance and got here at 12:30. The room is fine except for one thing: THE MOLDY CEILING IN THE BATHROOM. Gross. read more

Something very shady going on with the staff, especially the "manager". I was told I could check in early on the phone while I was driving to this place. Everything was great until I found out they charged my card for 4 days!!! The 'manager" could be bothered quite frankly, she was way too busy talking over me to hear about the issue...for 1 night I was charged $352.48 for a room that should have been $88.12. Crazy right?l It has taken days for my bank to unravel the mess this place created. BEWARE this is a shady crooked business and I think these people understand that folks are way too busy this time of year to check their bank statements....other than the shady people running this hotel it is quite nice. read more

Should be a 3.5 Room was ok, staff was nice, there was a rude customer in front of us at checkin and she handled it very well. Laundry room was ok, I think the prices to use the machines were a little high. Breakfast was ok, gravy for the biscuits was like water. read more

Ok so this one is going to be interesting.... I arrived early at 2:45pm to get checked in at the 3pm check in time. They asked if I could move rooms to accommodate someone with a pet...I said ok sure. They knew I was waiting, and didn't tell me that now I had to wait on them to get a whole other room ready. After a lot of back and forth and waiting on them to clean and get towels and get pillow cases and about 20 other reasons why it was taking so long.....I finally got my room keys closer to 4:30pm. Once we arrived in our room that had some faint weird musty smell, we started to get settled in. As I did my usually inspection for bedbugs around and under the mattress (better safe than sorry), I lifted the mattress and THERE WAS A SEX TOY under the mattress....I dropped the mattress and we had a bit of a laugh about it. I didn't tell the staff because even getting my room key was so aggravating I was done interacting with them....it's still there. I WILL NEVER BOOK A QUALITY INN ANYWHERE AFTER DEALING WITH THIS LOCATION. So Quality Inn....LETS PLAY A GAME. Now you know it's there. I'm not dropping the room number. Go find it. The hotel is nicely situated between two exits of the interstate and close to many dining options...several within walking distance. We arrived on June 10th .During check in we were giving room 126,when we opened door we noticed room was occupied.We returned to front desk and were giving another room 108, this room was also occupied.So glad both rooms were not occupied when we opened door.Once again we went to front desk and they really didn't have any idea what was going on.The two ladies working desk called manager and they were very helpful on getting us a room ,we had manager open room door to make sure it was not occupied .We finally got in our room and everything was fine.Not end of story,we went to get some ice,but noticed black sludge in ice.Once again back to front desk and the manager told us that the ice machine had been cleaned but needed to cycle to clear out the sludge,right. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk clerk like we were returning guests. We were not. The greeting made us feel comfortable right away. We were actually shocked how nice the room was. Also, the bathroom & shower were impeccably clean and with plenty of room. The bed too, was excellent ! We were on our way to Talladega for the race and stayed here for the night. West Monroe is the town where Duck Dynasty/Commander is headquartered. Yes, we visited them the following morning. This a great hotel for a night or a week ! read more

The bed was actually quite comfortable. Very good mattress. There were a few restaurants within walking distance. Internet was fast and non-glitchy. Television had an annoying amount of delay between the remote and the television. It took forever for the channels to change after ya push a button. Used Booking.com got a really good rate for 99$. Got home, checked my statement, there were charges from the hotel for 247.68 and 123.74, completely unauthorized and not related to an incidental charge. The receipt I got said $227.68. Worst yet, when I called to inquire about the charge they were rude and refused to answer the question. I never got clean towels, they never made the beds. The room smelled. Breakfast the first morning was cereal with no milk and what I think was an egg. No meat, no biscuits, etc......very disappointed all the way around. read more

I thought this hotel was awesome! I moved here after staying at another hotel in Monroe that I was extremely disappointed in. From booking the room over the phone to check in, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! The first day I walked in, the staff greeted me with a smile. Every time I walked by the front desk, they greeted or acknowledged me. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did an awesome job of keeping my room clean and stocked with supplies. The hotel was quiet most of the time (except one night when a big barking dog moved in on the same floor, but he didn't stay long.) Breakfast was provided and while I wouldn't call it the best I have ever had, it was hot, ready and free! Shawn who worked the breakfast room told everyone good morning every day! I ended up staying at this hotel for almost three weeks and I was treated well the entire time. The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants. Parking was never an issue and I felt very safe being here. If the weather cooperates, there is a nice park (Restoration Park) and walking trail behind the hotel next to this one, which is just a short walk away. My only recommendation for this hotel is to get a treadmill for the fitness room. Other than that, I was very pleased with my stay and I was sad to have to move on. read more
