We have a vacation planned and we're going to stay at this hotel because it was a half way mark between our location and Las Vegas. With the Covid 19 outbreak our travel plans had to be cancelled. Quality inn has been the only place we have had problems canceling our reservation with. It's still over three weeks away and they still won't work with us. Very very disappointed! read more

I was not impressed. We arrived well after 4:00 (Check in time was 3:00) to be told our room was not ready. We did get in before 4:30 which made me wonder about the cleaning? The manager at the front desk was far from friendly and welcoming. Upon checkout he would not give me a real receipt. The rate we paid with a reservation online was $65 more than the going room rate had we just walked in the door. He dismissed that totally....and yelled about the dog charge (which I did NOT question). The hotel is shabby...upkeep that should have been done has clearly not been done. Hot breakfast was poor. This is not the first Choice hotel in which we have encountered issues. I'll not stay there again. read more

Bad experience and poor customer service. We were making a state to state move and stayed at this hotel because it was pet friendly and was about half way to our destination. After a grueling drive we finally arrived at 2am, extremely tired. We had two hotel rooms and had asked for them to be close to each other, but due to our late arrival they said they only had two rooms left and they were on separate floors. The rooms were decent as far a cleanliness and beds were comfortable. However, my husbands room's air conditioner did not work and would only blow hot air. We were too tired to complain and just wanted to get sleep. At 7:30 in the morning two men were knocking at my husband's door, even though he had a "do not disturb" sign on the knob. When he answered they said they were there to fix the air conditioner! He said "now"? We just got in at 2am and are trying to sleep you cannot come in now. They asked when they could come back and my husband stated after 9 when we planned to check out. Who does that to a guest that has a do not disturb sign on the door?? It was obvious they knew the air was not working and still put a guest in that room. My husband was livid for being woken up. When I complained to the front desk man, he did not apologize and was arguing with me that it was ok to knock and disrupt a guest because it was convenient for the hotel. He asked what I wanted him to do and I said a discount for the interruption would be nice and he said "but the rooms are already so low". I had had it, "I told him that no wonder they were so cheap!" and stated I would write a review on Yelp and complain to Corporate about the fiasco! Not a happy camper! read more

Reserved a room through booking.com. Chose it as it is a pet friendly hotel. I always put in special request section, "2 small dogs". I received a confirmation email stating that they could accommodate my request with no extra charges. I check in and the clerk says he doesn't have a pet room. I said I booked and paid for it already. He told he he would give me the room if I left my dogs in the car. I said no. He then said it was $80.00 extra for the dogs. I said no way. He asked me how much I wanted to pay. After arguing with him I said I would pay 40$ for both. I complained to Quality Inn Customer Service and they said the hotel could charge what they wanted. This hotel has no idea of customer service. We reserved two rooms for my wife and I and our dog and my daughters family and their dog. When we arrived the manager said they did not have any pet rooms available (he said they gave those rooms away), and yet we had reserved two pet rooms which he acknowledged. He said it would be an additional $40 per room for cleaning fees for the two dogs. We ended up taking both dogs in our room and the fee was $56 (doesn't make any sense that it was going to be $40 per room but now was $56 to have both in one room). So we ended up paying for a screw up of the managers. When you spend the whole day driving and you are tired and want to relax the last thing you need is the Hotel that you are expecting comfort from to add to your stress. We stayed at a few hotels along our trip and they were all accommodating to meet our needs, but this place doesn't CARE! read more

Just passing through for 1 night. We didn't get to the hotel until 3 am after a 7 hour drive so we really needed a good nights rest and we got one! We rang the front desk bell and someone came out to help us immediately. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The breakfast was decent. The guy at the front was very accommodating. Overall this was the perfect hotel for us as it was very affordable and we slept well for the night. read more

Foreign Man at desk very unprofessional and rude. Price per night was inconsistent even after calling previously for rates and they doubled on weekend but not told that either. We found out after being there for 2 days we didn't have a dog room and made us move the next day. Rudely asked while in the pool what room we were in and that because 2 of us were in the pool, we would have to pay $10 extra. Asked for more towels at the pool and was told no. Breakfast was only till 9:30 and not restocked at any time other than when it opened. Refrigerator in both rooms barely got cold. The only nice thing I could say was the jacuzzi was nice. By then, we were down the highway too far to turn around, so the hotel desk clerk advised me on how to create an online FEDEX label and email it to him. For a budget hotel this place is awesome. We pulled in in the very very early morning hours, exhausted from our evening travels. The gentleman checking us in at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and awake for 1:30am. We appreciated his kindness as he make check in quick and painless and directed us to our room. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The room was clean and came with a microwave and fridge. My boyfriend also really appreciated the quality TV and the many channel options. In the morning we went down to breakfast, not expecting much other than pastries and fruit. We were greatly surprised however. Yes, there was pastries and fruit available, but also waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal and more. Great options, clean and efficient. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. read more

This Quality Inn is kind of old school. However, the rooms were nice, safe, and accessible to the highway and gas stations. The staff were accommodating and very kind to us. (Thank you Patrick and Dave!) The breakfast was very good, just enough to hold us over until lunchtime. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. There are no elevators in this Quality Inn, so if you have equipment or are handicap, I would recommend calling ahead to make sure a bottom floor room is reserved for you. All in all, it was a great place to sleep before getting back on the road. Also, their is an amazing restaurant (Timberline) about 50 feet from the hotel and a gas station, very convenient! read more

I would give minus stars if it was possible. When we checked in, the first thing we noticed in our room was an empty plastic drink glass with a straw in it on the window sill. We were surprised to see something so obvious overlooked by the cleaning team. We placed it in the trash. The next morning as I was doing exercises on the floor, I saw broken tortilla chips and popcorn on the floor alongside one of the beds. It is pretty gross to find someone else's food in your hotel room, which is supposed to be thoroughly cleaned before you arrive. And, in this time of covid, it made us very worried whether cleaning procedures to prevent the spread were being followed. Another example: the person at the desk was never wearing a mask when we interacted with him. My partner also noticed that the wrappers for the soap bars by the bathtub and sink were open: as if they had been used and then put back in the wrapper. Before leaving for the day, we reported the food on the floor to the person at the front desk (who we assume is the manager or owner since he was at the desk each time we went there). He was polite and assured us that the room would be cleaned while we were gone for the day. When we came back, we knew the cleaner had been in the room because the trash cans were emptied. But when we looked at the edge of the bed the food was still there. I went to report this to the manager. The woman who does the cleaning was sitting next to him and he asked her to go check. So she came back to the room with me, but she did not have a mask on. So I asked her to put one on before coming in. She did not have one with her and went back to the cleaning supply room to get one. When she looked at the food on the floor, she exclaimed something like: "I worked so hard to get this clean. You don't know how hard it is to clean." I said, "Yes I do. I have a house and I vacuum it." She gave me an angry look and left the room, slamming the door. I went back to the front desk and told the man there that if they were not going to clean the room we wanted our money back. He said something like: "Even if it was clean you wouldn't be happy. You are the kind of person who finds something wrong with everything." I said, "You don't know anything about me." He said, "Yes you are. I can tell by looking at you." He was very red in the face and angry. He said that we had been there the night before we checked in and blamed us for making the mess. He said that if we wanted our money back we would have to leave. I went back to the room to ask my partner. We decided not to leave because it was already dark and late. I have never checked in to a room in a hotel/motel that had a previous occupant's food on the floor. I have never been treated like that by hotel/motel staff. They are supposed to be providing a service and attempting to keep their customers happy - not insulting them. This man and woman should not be in the hospitality business. They are going to tarnish the reputation of the hotel chain. read more

The hotel is old and in need for some refurbishing, the room was smelly (not smoke, just old/dumpy) and the coffee machine had some old coffee in it (from a previous customer that was not cleaned out) with mold in it. Really gross. The breakfast is just ok. Would not want to return in this establishment. read more

We stopped in here because our van broke down moving cross country and rather than stay in the van overnight we thought it would be nicer to stay the night here and rest and take our van to be repaired practically right next door in the morning. The man the front desk was extremely rude when we came in and gave attitude with every question. You're the front desk, your JOB is to be at least SOMEWHAT courteous and welcoming. We tried to shrug it off and went about our night and in the morning left with no issues relating to the hotel until later. After limping our van around town to find we would have to wait for a tow truck to take the van elsewhere to be repaired we parked in the EMPTY parking lot, away from the entrance trying to leave all desirable spaces for the customers that would come in. The same man from the previous night came out and began yelling at us saying we are not allowed to park there and it is only for paying customers despite us having spent the night previous, the place being completely empty and us going out of our way to keep out of the way of current customers. We will not be staying another night and are taking our business elsewhere however long we wind up in Beaver for this mishap. read more

Oh my these people were so rude when I tried calling to let them know I was bringing my dog. I had booked through booking.com. I know there is a pet fee so I thought I'd call to let them know a month ahead of time when booking. First off, it was very hard to understand him because of his accent. I tried explaining that I had a hard time understanding and he raised his voice more and more so I ended up hanging up and canceling my reservation. I called booking 4 times because quality inn wouldn't process my refund and all of the representatives had a very hard time getting my full refund when they spoke with their manager. It was a messy experience and I ended up getting that refund 2 weeks later. I also ended up booking with Quality Inn in Cedar City instead and they were very kind and helpful. read more

Let me just say, my partner and I have been on a ten day journey from California through Utah and every hotel we stopped at has been lovely, except this one. We were on our way back when we stopped in Beaver because of how tired we were. We got a room with Quality Inn on Hotwire. The check in experience was okay at best. We got in, unburdened ourselves and went downstairs to get some hot water from the breakfast room since my partner wasn't feeling too well. When we got down there we noticed other people using the area, so it seemed okay. We went in, got some hot water, and noticed a little mini fridge with Oranges and apples. We took a couple oranges from the little fridge that smelt of rotten fruit when we opened it, because we figured it would help with my boyfriend's cold. We left and I quickly realized that I needed more hot water. We went back in and the front desk guy, Raj came in and berated us about taking food, saying we are only allowed coffee and that the food is for breakfast. I had to explain to him that we already touched the food and that if he were to put it back he would get other people sick. He was very nasty and yelled at us in front of other guest for taking fruit that was going bad out of a fridge with no sign on it. That made the whole 'hotel' experience nasty. In the morning I went to go check out and the same guy was there. He asked me for my room key and I told him it was in the room. He then pointed to a thing on the key that said "please return keys to the front desk" and told me he was going to charge $2 for the keys. Needless to say I was not having it. I told him I definitely would not be paying $2 for keys that are still in the hotel and that he can call a house keeper to let me back in my room to grab them. He dropped it right there after giving me a lot of attitude. He never once said anything about that when I checked in. Be careful with this place. The manager/front desk dude Raj is just awful and cheap and very sneaky and the room wasn't very clean or nice at all. read more

We had a stop over in beaver traveling on to another location and decided to stay at the quality inn in beaver. We found the staff very nice and very accommodating. The rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable, the only downside was the beds were a bit uncomfortable. The shower in the morning was amazing, I was a traveling consultant and the water pressure here was legendary. All together a good place to lay over. read more

The motel itself was nice. The rooms looked fairly new and were clean. The staff was all nice and they had a complimentary breakfast. We only stayed for one night to go snowboarding the next morning. I just checked my bank statement and see I was charged twice. So I go onto the Choice App that I booked through and see that it said we stayed TWO nights. We called and they said they'll refund it, but I'm still curious as to why it says I stayed two nights now instead of the one it originally said. read more

We stayed here at the last minute because we were moving and honestly, absolutely tired of driving after 10 hours. We were definitely unsure of what to expect but didn't really care, we had our dog and the advertisement board along the freeway said they were pet friendly. I was amazed, the room was completely updated with modern, clean looking decor. The room was clean and fresh smelling. Had everything you need to get a great night sleep in comfort and not worry about the cleanliness of the room or noise. Our room was located in the back on the first level, facing the back parking lot. We'd highly recommend the Quality Inn at this location for taking a break on a long road trip with your dog. read more

Wow. The quality inn in Beaver is horrible. The front desk clerk threatened to charge me $275 because I wanted to have 4 adults in my room with 2 queen beds and the reservation said 2 people. He said that the charge would be for dishonestly? He said we have to get 2 rooms, but there was no rooms available, although I heard his on the phone say they had multiple rooms available. I recorded a majority of our conversation and would be happy to share it with anyone who could use it to fix this problem. I have never been more frustrated, disrespected, or confused in any reservation experience in my life. I will always have a bitter taste in my mouth every time I hear the word quality or inn. read more

The price was great, but you get what you pay for. If cheap is what you want, this is a winner. The floor was dirty. My kids and I had to wear our shoes in the room and in the bathroom because the floor made our feet black, and I mean black. The carpet and the air in the room were both wet. It was pretty gross. But the beds seemed clean and were comfortable if you are just sleeping and going. The pool looked really green, so we didn't even think of going for a swim. The free breakfast, though cheap (my youngest said,"What is this? Is this fake sausage?") got us on the road faster. We were somewhat apprehensive after reading previous Yelp reviews but from the moment that we walked in to a lobby that was bright, clean, and tastefully decorated we couldn't understand the negative reviews. They were so accommodating of our needs and the room is spacious, clean, and has those wonderful quality Inn sheets ! Also a big plus, a two minute walk to one of the best restaurants around. Only negative at this point, some idiot left 2 barking dogs in their room and went out to eat, but Management has already told us that it will be handled as soon as they locate the people. We were part of a group of 11 people on a 10 day road trip. This was our first stop and we were not sure what to expect. The family that owns/runs the hotel all work there and were very friendly. Our rooms were not ready but they worked quickly to get them all cleaned up. The bed was heaven so soft so comfortable we had a great night sleep. There is a good place to eat right in the same lot. It was a real treat to have a nice place to stay and a very reasonable price. Breakfast was the not amazing but something to start the day at least. I would stay here again. read more

After spending the last 17 hours in Beaver, UT it is safe to say I will NEVER be back. Horrible customer service everywhere we went. At the hotel the front desk clerk was rude and on the phone when he checked us out, acted like we were a burden because we were there. He didn't even say thank you or goodbye. Isn't a hotel supposed to be hospitable? Also, our room was not the best. Broken shower, broken tv, we even found hair in our towels when we unfolded them!!! Also, the continental breakfast was free but very unsanitary. I felt like this place was ran poorly and we will never be back. Not a bad place. They have wifi and cable tv but don't expect much from either. Internet is slow and the cable is limited although they do have HBO. There's a swimming pool that I haven't checked out yet. No guest laundry facilities. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Not the greatest place in the world but not bad if you're passing through town and need a place to stay for the night. I myself am staying here for a few weeks while my company does some work in the area and I find it tolerable even for weeks at a time. read more

This has been a wonderful stay! We have been on the road since Phoenix, AZ on our way to Seattle, WA. This hotel is a very good value for what you get. The room we were in was newly remodeled and very clean! The shower pressure is AMAZING. if we ever are in this area again we stay here again. Great breakfast too. And very nice staff. read more
