Checking in and out was easy and the front desk staff were so friendly and kind! They also recommended places for us to visit during our stay. There is a really neat area with a water fountain and trees on your walk to get breakfast. The kids thought that was really cool to walk around in the mornings. The room was very clean and reasonably priced. This is a great place to stay.

We stayed in a suite, the rooms were spacious and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at this location was top notch. You won't leave the breakfast on an empty stomach. The only complaint from my angle would be exterior lights coming through the bottom of the blackout curtains. I work overnights so any light while I try to sleep bothers me, but don't let that take away from a good sleeping stop in Eureka Springs.

Older hotel with a good location near downtown eureka. The stay met their 2 star hotel rating. However, the reason for the 1 star review is for extra charges that no evidence has been provided for. We pre-paid for a 3 night stay. Because of a family emergency, we checked out early on Sunday evening and have video evidence of us arriving back home that night. On Tuesday we were charged another $125 dollar fee. I called in to see why we were charged and was told that a manager could tell me, but they could not. I called in the next day to talk to the manager and they said they charged me for a smoking fee. My wife and I don't smoke. My toddler and infant don't smoke either. I thought a milk or juice spill that we missed could be the charge, but this is not the case. There were several guests that smoked, there were also several outdoor places we saw other guests smoking. So even If we did smoke, there were far better places to do so instead of the room itself. At this point, I cannot recommend staying at a hotel that has combative staff that accuse non smokers of smoking in a room, and providing no real evidence of such a transgression. At this point I have had to stay on calls with choice hotels to file corporate complaints for something my family did not do, its frustrating. The staff could have smoked in that room, someone else could have smoked in that room, but we did not. My review will stand until we are refunded and an apology is issued for the accusation.

Nice smells great when I walk in the room. Front desk Collin greeted me by name!

Collin greeted me by name! I love that. Room smelled great. Bed slept like a dream. Realized I need new pillows I'll do that later. I'm off to explore Eureka. And God only knows where the nearest Wal Mart is.

Very clean, excellent staff, great location. You can hear loud motorcycles if your room is close to parking lot. Otherwise it was great!

The breakfast is above average, but the homemade quiche and banana bread puts it over the top.

Great place to stay in Eureka Springs. We'll stay here if/when we come back for sure…read more I really liked the ability to select a very specific room. We are happy to sacrifice space in exchange for specific amenities like a large jacuzzi and were very pleased with the Queen Suite that we ended up getting (with a nice view of the mountains/the Jesus statue). The room was comfortable and clean. If I had any complaints, the in-suite coffee was underwhelming and the TV was kind of oddly situated, but that's very much a minor issue. The rest of the hotel was interesting and fun to explore as well. If we'd had more time, we would have checked out the bar in the lobby. The hotel staff were outstanding. Andrew(?) and Co. made a point to learn our names and were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and on-point with the valet parking service. Just a really good experience and good vibes.

Last night, there was a party with a live band (particularly terrible drummer BTW) right under our room until after midnight. It was so loud in our room that we couldn't watch a movie, talk to each other, or sleep. We could only put in earplugs and wait for it to be over. I could still hear all the lyrics through the earplugs, that's how loud it was. We are leaving a day early, even though we have already paid for tonight's room, because last night was so miserable. The hotel has effectively made this first floor room unusable on nights when the club right under it is open (W-Sa), and we were certainly not informed when we booked at their full price rate that this VERY LOUD party would be happening basically IN OUR ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. Just ridiculous. I would not book the New Orleans Hotel first-floor suite again and would not recommend it to anyone else. As far as what the hotel should do to improve this problem: do not rent this suite out on nights when you are having loud parties right under it, and refund my money for this unusable hotel room.

Beware of Tyler, the tyrant psychotic sociopath owner of The Palace Bath House!…read more I visited the Palace Hotel and Bath House expecting peace and relaxation. Instead, I walked out shaking, humiliated, and in tears -- an experience I will never forget for all the wrong reasons. The mineral bath area consists of small cubicles with no ceilings, something I was never told. I didn't hear or see anyone else, so I genuinely believed I was alone. While in the bath I was trying to meditate but then someone started playing very distracting music that interrupted my meditation and I asked politely for the music to be turned off when someone changed it to something distracting. I made normal, reasonable requests -- a towel, a time extension -- nothing out of the ordinary for a spa. When I went upstairs afterward, everything changed instantly. The owner, Tyler (appeared to be in her 40s -50s had shoulder length completely gray hair) approached me out of nowhere and told me she was "astonished by my behavior" and that I was "the rudest person" she had ever had as a customer. I was stunned. I had no idea what she was talking about. She accused me of "yelling" and "ruining the experience" for others -- even though I had spoken calmly and had no idea the entire facility shared open acoustics. I immediately apologized, over and over, because I felt horrible. I was crying, shaking, and trying to explain that I truly believed I was alone. Instead of listening, she doubled down. She told me I was "blacklisted" and needed to leave. Meanwhile, other patrons -- the very people she claimed I had disturbed -- came to comfort me. They told me I had done nothing wrong. They hugged me. They reassured me. They told me her reaction was completely out of proportion. I ended up having a panic attack from the shock and humiliation. My entire day was ruined. Days later, I am still shaken. When I tried to call to request a refund, I discovered my number had been blocked. No conversation. No explanation. No willingness to resolve anything. I have never in my life been treated the way I was treated at this business. I left feeling berated, belittled, and publicly humiliated for something I didn't even know I had done wrong. The lack of sound privacy, the aggressive confrontation, the refusal to communicate afterward -- all of it paints a very clear picture. Bottom-line, BEWARE of The Palace Hotel and Bath House and the tyrant psychotic sociopath who runs this establishment, TYLER! My experience was emotionally devastating, and no guest or human in general deserves to be treated this way. Consider yourself warned.

I got the works; the steam cabinet, a mineral bath, and a massage. I was so relaxed by the end of it I could barely walk or think straight. I even fell asleep during the massage! Only downside for a more modern customer is that the spa layout is completely original. There are no sound barrier walls or anything. The walls and doors aren't floor to ceiling, so one can hear toilets flushing, tubs draining, etc. But it's great for feeling transported back to the old holistic, homeopathic ways.
