Hotel room itself wasn't bad but the hotel in general was terrible. Apparently this hotel is being used as a homeless encampment. Multiple individuals roaming the parking lot. One begging the front desk for toilet paper, interrupting our check in. Children running through the hallways screaming up until midnight. I assume their parents were the adults in the gazebo in the parking lot using Marijuana products. Cops had been called to address the disruption. My husband was threatened in the hallway by one of the unchecked teens. Hotel smelled like cigarette smoke and Marijuana. False advertising regarding breakfast, gym, and pool. All closed. We brought up our concerns with the front desk attendant who said all they could do was give us a 10% discount, no option for refunds. Run away! read more

Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly! It is difficult to find pet friendly hotels that aren't either extremely expensive or just sub par! You guys were very affordable and accommodating!! Would def recommend and come back. My only complaints were that the bathrooms def need some updating, when I took a shower it was like walking on a boat as there was water under the tub making it move. (And maybe some bigger coffee cups.. but that's nothing I just made myself 3 cups at a time, haha) read more

My husband and I arrived and found the room to be far less than desired. The cooling system had to be on full blast in order for the humidity to leave the room. If you set it at a comfortable temperature, lots of humidity and slight doggy odor. The bathroom air vent was thick with dirt. The stopper was permanently removed from the tub and laying on the side of the tub so that when you showered you were treated to the sight of a nasty drain. The window looked into another room approximately 8 feet away so you had to keep the room darkening shade closed or treat others to a view of you. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything from your neighbor. The doors into the room And bath was warped by the excessive humidity so they did not close properly. The room was depressing, with a mirror glued at an angle on the wall. Noise from the hallway where people gathered at the vending machines. There were large stones over the pathway which was basically a stepping stone path that made rolling your case nearly impossible. read more

Would give less stars if possible. Found BEDBUGS in the room. I even took the pillow with a few to show the front desk and well front desk didn't seem that phased. Got a refund and got the hell out. That was on top of a dirty pool and honestly not the best customer service- she almost made it seem like we were a bother. I would never go back or recommend this place ! read more

I booked to stay for a night on the way to Niagara. I didn't expected much as I know I will be staying for few hours from mid night to morning. Looks like the carpet inside the room are very old. Lock in the bathroom door was not working. Breakfast was average with some egg, sausage , waffle maker and usual items. I tried to connect to internet once and it didn't connect. I didn't worried as I have to sleep. Coffee maker was there without coffee carafe. Air conditioning and bed very good, and had nice sleep after few hours of drive. Its okay for the price I paid for a night on a week end. read more

I reserved here because it had the cheapest rate. It is an older hotel, but it has had some updates. Staff was very friendly. My bed was comfortable, the bedside table had an alarm clock with two USB ports and the tv had HBO (I think - never turned it on).WIFI was strong enough to stream video - lots of the nicer hotels in this vicinity have such a weak signal that I can't look at Facebook. Bathroom was older, patched ceiling, etc., but had a new quartz counter and was clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was the usual with waffle maker, pre made eggs and sausage, yogurt, etc. Maybe a skimpy on cereal and no fresh fruit. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - (if it's the lowest rate that weekend) it seems comparable to the other chain motels. read more

Doesn't look like the pics. Lobby was nice. Our Bathroom ceiling is about to fall. Told the front desk about our tv issues and a maintenance guy came and said he would return and he never did. The tv has no guide, poor reception. Our bathroom light switches had old filth on the on off. Gross. You need to clean better and also more friendlier at the front desk. An older hotel that needs work. Tile and sheet rock coming off in bathroom. Rolling buggy has hit the corner so much that it's coming apart. Walls are thin. But!!!! The staff at the front desk are very nice and the air conditioning works better than any hotel I've stayed in the past 2 months. I slept very well. Didn't stay for breakfast as we usually check out at midnight. read more

Quality Inn - Hotels Near Me - Hamburg, New York

This place was perfect for us! They are big dog friendly (I have three Siberian Huskies). There are plenty of adjoining areas to walk dogs (on leash, of course, as the areas are on the main roads). There is a sports bar (Hideaways) located in the hotel with great Buffalo wings and cold beer. My room was clean and spacious. The lady at the front desk was very proactive in getting us the most convenient room (first floor, next to the exit to minimize sound from my dogs and I going outside). However, we stayed there in off-peak season (early February). There were five hotel guests total for the evening. This certainly added to our experience. It was awesome having the hotel to ourselves! If you travel with dogs, this place is great. You won't be upset. read more

Two floors with no elevator or bellhop. Complimentary continental breakfast was a joke and half the items ran out in the first hour. Rooms were old and dingy. Showers were lukewarm. Our hero would liken this establishment to a high end homeless shelter. Pros: - They've got an outdoor pool that's relatively clean. Cons: - The fitness room only has two weight machines, a treadmill and a recumbent bike. - Non-smoking section smells like cigarettes. - Very run down. - No elevators. read more

WARNING!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. This is a dirty nasty place to stay. I would rather sleep in my car. I'm on business with two other people so we had two rooms. My first room was non-smoking but when I walked in it smelled like an old ashtray and grime, so I looked around. There was hair on the towel the light bulb was broken the sheets had hair on the sheets and eye lashes on the pillow. That was enough for me, I went to the front desk and asked for a new room. The guy at the front was very pleasant, apologized and moved me right away. The new room had clean sheets and towels. I know the towels were new because the dirty ones were still on the back of the bathroom door. The other issue was a clogged toilet. Two rooms that failed was bad enough, but when I went to the other room the sink didn't drain. I gave up on asking for another room it's obvious how they will all be. Stayed for one night on a road trip to Rochester, NY. Non smoking room had a residual smoke smell. Old facility. Lumpy bed. Old carpeting and furnishings. Bathroom very 70s. Breakfast was poor pickings - no fruit beside apples and oranges that looked like they'd been there for months, no peanut butter, no oatmeal. No tea selection. Dining area rather dismal adding to the overall abysmal atmosphere. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. We were billed $60 more for the same room as our friends. We booked 4 rooms here and were billed a ridiculous rate. All charges were different for no reason. While our other friends booked the same room we were told that because we booked 8 weeks prior we were going to pay far more. The sign at the checkout read Lowest Price Guarantee. Where was that discount? Because we don't live in the US we had to leave to get back to the airport without any support from the lousy rude staff. Never again will I book a room at a Quality Inn!!! Super 8 is a better place. Quality Inn is not a quality inn at all. 2 rooms we looked at each had either black mold on carpet beside the a.c. units or visible mold in the a.c. unit vents.a d filthy drapes, dirty mirror and shower. So disgusting, we moved to a 3rd room that was cleaner. They renovated the lobby area, which is nice. The decor is very dated with stained furniture. We booked with howls.com. don't recomnend doing that as you get your money back if there's a problem. read more

Bed was too high for petite person with mobility issues to get into. I had to use ottoman to allow access for elderly mother to get into bed When we called front desk to get a stool several different times there was no answer. Towels were too thin. Leftovers from prior guest left in fridge. Coffee ran out at breakfast bar. Shower handrail attached at one end only. Also banister in stairwell not secure. There is an out door patio area that was not cleaned up after party the night before. Beer bottles etc still strewn about on the tables. Dated hotel but room was clean. Nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable and decent free breakfast. Lobby area and breakfast area is modern. Checkin was fast and easy. I would stay here again if I was coming through Hamburg. read more

Don't stay here if you can help it! All of the other hotels nearby were full, and for good reason. Pay 200$+ for the pleasure of itchy sheets, loud water pipes, and walls so thin you can hear your neighbor take a dump. Not to mention the shrill, white-trash harpy above me screaming at her kids until midnight, and the employees did nothing when I brought it to their attention. read more

not to bad. outdated and the bathrooms need some tlc, but it is clean and the king beds are very comfortable. a restuarant on site is always a bonus for a choice hotel as well. 6 HBOs is pretty nice also. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE - Only reason we stayed was a flight cancellation and had to be at the airport at 5am, wouldn't do it again... As others said it needed remodeling years ago and strong odors like they are covering up a smell. At least 2 workers said it was their first day, so must be high turnover. Customer service was horrible too, we forgot a shoe in the room and called when realized. Daily calls and numerous emails but no one knows how to ship an item. 2 weeks later finally got the GM to pick up and got it shipped.
