Absolutely disgusting. What a waste of $110 bedding was filthy, towels were stained, no coffee, and worst of all there is a SEVERE BEDBUG INFESTATION!!!!! The owner, refused me a refund and offered me another room. Even after I threatened him with a health inspection. I had an apartment showing the next day which I had to unfortunately flake on because I refuse to stay in a bedbug infested establishment. Serious biohazard. Wall dilapidated, the entire building smells like old smoke and booty. Doors do not shut, emergency accident is cracked open at all times therefore there is little to no security. No vending machine. Bathroom had severe water damage and low water pressure. I would've been better off burning my money because that's essentially what I did. I was absolutely mortified. I went down to the front desk so scared to put my clothes on. I was practically half naked. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I will never trust a motel or hotel again because of this shit hole. read more

White Fluids and stains everywhere on the carpet and walls and curtains and I don't even know what was on the tissue dispenser!! DISGUSTING!! The ceiling of the laundry room was a stained, falling down mess. How this hotel is still open for business is beyond me. I normally stay at Super 8s because I believe they provide decent value at low cost. Well, this one wasn't particularly cheap and the value wasn't there. First, when I arrived, they had the wrong dates for my reservation in their computer system. I had to show the front desk guy the emails I received, showing the correct date. (His English was a bit difficult to understand, BTW.) Also, the fan/air conditioner wasn't working at all. It had sticky labels all over the main dial as well in place of lettering, suggesting that it's an antiquated unit. Not much by way of other amenities. I stayed here because it was cheap, but I will certainly look for other options next time. read more

I am ok with the rooms being outdated because of the price but I am NOT ok with the disgusting smell that smacks you in the face upon entering and is throughout the entire motel. It smells like rotten bologna. I found hairs on pillows and all over the bathroom. Every piece of bedding is badly stained. They are aware of the odor because they hung pine air fresheners all over the stairwell. You would be happier staying in your car than stepping foot into this monstrosity. If it wasn't a last minute necessity and I weren't toting my 2 children with me, I would have demanded a refund and went somewhere else. read more

At check-in, he couldn't find my reservation. I spelled it SIX times. Finally, I found and gave him the confirmation number. Ta-da! I asked for a room near the office, as I was a woman, traveling alone. Nothing available. I asked for a 1st floor, as I had a lot to bring in. Nothing available. Oh, and no escalator, either. Joy. I was told to park in the back parking lot, way behind the hotel. I did. My room? Up front, 2nd floor. In the morning, I had to run out to my car at 5am. The entire parking lot was empty, except for the lot in the way back, which was totally full. Ugh. Most curtains were open, so I could see that the rooms were not occupied. No idea why I was told to park back there. My king room was small, but clean. No noise from either side; I think those rooms were empty. The halls had old, stinky carpet. The breakfast area was clean, although I was there early. No surprises, all the usual foods. Microwave and toaster available and working. Check out was torturously slow, but the bill was correct. I think I'll select a different hotel on my way back through Buffalo. read more

Management very unprofessional. Not friendly at all smh talks to me and other people any kinda way since I got here! Extremely rude and told me that Complimentary breakfast wasn't for everyone & my room is paid for.. Housekeeping hasn't cleaned my room & I've been here for 5days now Wow! I asked the manager why my room hasn't been clean & he told me housekeeping wasn't there & weekly stays only get their room cleaned every 3 or 4 days! Unbelievable smh & rudely threw some trash bags on the counter for me to clean my trash cans myself. I was tryna walk thru the main lobby to leave out with my daughter & the manager told me to turn around and go out the other way because he had customers coming thru smh. Told the manager that my fridge haven't been working for days & no one hasn't came to the room to replace it yet! Poor customer service if you ask me smh As a manager you suppose to make people feel @ home from my experience as a on site manager for 2yrs in 2019 Las Vegas @ Desert Moon Motel on Fremont. I maintained a 4.0 review rating in 2019 Rooms sold out every night from displaying constant customer service day & night 24/7 I remained professional no matter what the situation was or who the person or persons were coming to stay! Always friendly & polite! Kindness & respect goes goes hand & hand when you're serving people! If I could give it No stars I would ! Thee worst place I have ever stayed in my life . The walls where sticky , the floor dirty . flies !! In December !! It was 80 bucks which in Chicago I can get a hell hole for 40 . They acted as if we where crazy Cuz we asked for a new room ! The doors wouldn't shut we had to buy duck tape to cover the gaps ! The staff laughed when I had told them about it and moved us to the next room, where the window was leaking, leaving the floor by the window soaked. Excellent experience at a motel over two days strategically located south of Buffalo off the New York State Thurway, I90. I was on a journey to celebrate a cousin's 50th wedding anniversary on a Sunday in Amherst, north of Buffalo. The Super 8 was 25 min away. The motel was clean, well kept, and very comfortable. The room had updated lamps with electrical outlets on the base for recharging electronics. The general manager was very helpful in getting settled. A Olive Garden type restaurant, the Water Stone, is a short walk, or drive away. Often in multiple night stays housekeeping doesn't do much to the room. However at this Super 8 the room was the same the second day as the first. The bed was made to original and soap and shampoo were restocked. The second day I visited cousins on my mother's side in East Aurora, also about 25 min away. In summary this is one of the best Super 8 I have ever stayed at. read more

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Needed a room after driving all day across Pennsylvania before arriving at Niagara falls. Spoke to a woman on the phone who said come in and it will be $65 for four people. I insisted on making the reservation over the phone, but she said just to come in and she will be there. When we arrived an EXTREMELY RUDE "manager" guy came to the desk and told me it was now $85 + tax. I told him I had spoke to a woman over the phone about 30 minutes ago and he started yelling saying he doesn't care and he's the manager and ranted on and on and on. I asked to speak to the woman and he yelled no and continued yelling until we walked out. It is now past 1 am and we need a room.. Luckily there are tons of nice hotels in the area, we called a nice HOTEL not ran down crappy MOTEL and told them what had just happened and they gave us a nice room for $85 FLAT. It's better to stay at a nice clean place rather than a ran down motel with bad management. Save yourself the trouble and book on kayak somewhere better read more

***The worst hotel experience this seasoned traveler has ever had*** I have never had a worse experience at a hotel in my lifetime, and this is coming from someone who has driven hundreds of thousands of miles in road trips throughout America and Canada for well over a decade. The manager I spoke to on the phone gave me a different price than that of which I was charged in person. I had driven all the way from Chicago, and I was exhausted, so I had no choice but to stay there. He was extremely pleasant on the phone, but once I swiped my card the tone of his voice and the look on his face became very unpleasant. I very politely asked him if I could extend my checkout time an hour, as it was late at night and I greatly needed a good night's sleep for the next day's drive. He very rudely said no, and seemed to take pleasure in denying me what I had asked for even though it would cost him nothing. I've stayed at over a hundred hotels, and perhaps 1/5th of the time I'll ask for an extended checkout time, and no manager has ever said no to such a request. The hotel was perhaps 1/4th occupied, yet he claimed that he was booked for the next day. I asked why I couldn't be allowed to stay an extra hour when the check-in time is 3 or 4 p.m. and housekeeping is never done until 1 or 2 o'clock. He paused to give himself time to come up with a lie and said -without looking at any notes or referencing anything- that the room needed repair tomorrow in the afternoon, which is odd because that would mean he rented me a room that was in need of maintenance. I told him that I would complain to Super 8 headquarters and he said that he didn't care. When I asked him if he was the person whose name was listed on the wall as 'manager,' he said "how many times do you have to ask that," even though I had only asked once. The manager also refused to tell me which way my room's window faced so that I could park my car in a place where I could keep my eyes on it if need be. The following is a list of further issues the hotel had: -There was human hair all over the bathroom. -One of the security doors was broken. -There was no cable TV (I've never seen this before at a motel or hotel chain), although there was cable TV available for the manager at the front desk. -There was no "do not disturb" tag to put on the door handle, presumably to save the owner money. None of the rooms in the hotel had any tags on their door handles, which I've never seen before, so obviously there were none available for customers on the property. -The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken, meaning that when I took a shower I couldn't see myself in the mirror afterwards so that I may use product in my hair and brush it properly. Not having an exhaust fan in the bathroom is particularly problematic given that it was a smoking room. -Breakfast ended at 9 a.m., instead of the usual 10 a.m., obviously in an attempt to save money on sleep-deprived travelers who couldn't get up in time to access the complimentary breakfast that Super 8 affords it's customers. -The soda machine was broken. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. You'd be better off rolling the dice on any hotel or motel within 500 miles. read more

I don't know where these other guests were staying; I found the motel to be comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff did a good job on a daily basis. The ' pillows ' were very good and I got a good nights sleep. I found the continental breakfast to be adequate and the coffee was excellent. The a/c worked fine and kept the room at my desired temperature. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would do it again. P.S. It's not the Ritz, but I didn't pay for a Ritz Carlton.
