Dirty, overcharged and lied about price! Smoke detectors removed from rooms, elevator permit out of date, back security door broken and won't latch, horrible smell in hallways, breakfast is old waffle batter or frozen sandwich heated in microwave! Ice machine broken, Toilet wouldn't flush. Didn't clean my room for 3 days, never ran a vacuum debris on floor for the entire stay, wouldn't change bed clothes until I told them to change them after 2 weeks. Parking lot full of potholes and dirty and shed area looks like a crack house with a bunch of junk and old furniture. Will never stay at this dump again, AVIOD - DIRTY!!! read more

Very comfortable beds and pillows.. was very disappointed though it said they had hot breakfast the only thing they had that was hot was the waffles. Absolutely nothing else that was hot. They had microwaveable sausage sandwiches that looked almost a green tint to them... So we didn't bother with them... Every other quality inn I've ever stayed at at least had biscuits and gravy and or eggs... We seemingly thought a lil more for this hotel than super 8/days inn so we thought the breakfast would be better.. ended up checking out and going to a different hotel.. our family is big on bfast... Stayed at days inn at least they had biscuits and gravy... And hot coffee.. so because of this only 3 stars.. also one of the more run down quality inns I've been to... Needs an upgrade to be standard with other qi... They should lower the prices ... It's like staying at cheapest hotel.. read more

Will never go back here. Checked in and got my room key. Went to the room bed covers were messed up and room looked it was not cleaned. Went to front desk got room changed. (He was not happy about it) Then went to next room. Floors were sticky and dirty. Toilet was not flushing properly. There were black ants all over. Room was dirty. -100/10! One star because zero stars is not an option. Highly do NOT recommend. Filthy. Ants crawling all over the room. Shower falling apart. Grungy bathtub. A/C on when we walked in...in NOVEMBER; makes me wonder what smells or odors they were attempting to hide. Sheets on bed wrinkled...like they just remade the bed. Anything silver in color (lights, fixtures, etc) all tarnished. Dirty spots on the walls. Dead bugs in the toilet. Hair in the sink. Very disappointing considering the nearly $200 for two nights stay. We checked in and out within an hour. I'm not high maintenance but there is a standard and this establishment is well below that. I've stayed at a couple other hotels in this area and have had no issues. We were able to gather our belongings, make a phone call to a nearby hotel that had an opening and check in to a very comfy & clean room within 20 minutes. A notable irony is that upon going to the front desk and voicing my concerns, the night auditor didn't bat an eye at refunding our reservation...kinda makes ya wonder how many other times this has happened if he was so well versed in taking care of my cancellation. This place is what it is...a crappy hotel. I only stayed here because I had to and it met my expectations...dirty, hair everywhere, rusty, and smelled bad. Hot water is an issue at this hotel as well...doesn't work well. They get 2 stars because their staff was very nice and polite. read more

Does anyone else feel like Quality Inn jacked up their prices during the evacuation in Morris? I do...looked online and it said $80 a night. Had to get 2 rooms for 2 nights and had to bring a dog with us. Ended up being $275 and $300 for 2 nights. The rooms were pretty dirty and no one even came in to make a bed. Last time I stay there. I'd rather be stuck in my car. read more

Ok. I came here for the Fox River "ownership" property event and did the 90 minute tour. But any way, the hotel wasn't bad at all. Very friendly customer service, the room was clean. I have no complaints about it. Shoot I have cable and AC I'm ok. I'm guessing they updated the Tv's (which is a plus) I definitely would recommend staying here. I didn't get breakfast but the do have hot breakfast from 6.30 to 9.30. read more

We came here for a free weekend get-away - we only had to agree to listen to the Fox River Run sales pitch for time shares, down the street. It's a pretty standard 2 star hotel, about 30 minutes from Starved Rock. Amenities: There's a mini exercise room that has one treadmill, one elliptical, and one stationary bike - super tiny and always empty, but does the trick. There's also an indoor pool that looked pretty packed with kiddies the whole time. ALso, they have free WiFi, which is a super plus. Food: Pretty good breakfast spread - coffee, juice, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. Open 6-10. They also have a bar with bar food open in the evenings, but we didn't try it out. Staff: Everyone was friendly. The cleaning lady seemed to be new. She walked in on us, which wasn't a big deal, but I think it scared her off, so she didn't come again. Also, the sheets were stained. All in all - I didn't think it was a bad deal, just don't go in expecting any more than the standard. read more

We checked in on Friday morning 5/15/15 and were given Rm 107. We left to take care of business and didn't return until approx. 11:00 P.M. at which time we realized that the toilet didn't flush. We were then given Rm. 115. While taking a shower I was in water that was over my ankles. It took the tub 25 minutes to drain. The next morning I complained and was given Rm. 206 in which the faucet wouldn't stop dripping. Three rooms, three plumbing problems. Also, the breakfast, which is supposed to last from 6 A.M. to 10 A.M. had very little food left by 9:20 A.M. and it didn't seem as though anyone was going to prepare any more. The house keeping staff were eating the food which was still available. I will never stay at this Quality Inn again and I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Not the worst, not the best. More or less middle-of-the-pack for a facility that has been through a couple of rehabs. Our room was clean enough, but a couple of moldy areas on the bathtub surround hinted at slap-dash maintenance. Noticed a rock wedging a security door open with nobody around (...we removed it...), so staff is lax about the cameras. Cable (or satellite) TV feed had an annoying stutter. WiFi worked well. Be warned - the attached restaurant/bar is not your typical hotel bar where you expect to find friendly fellow travelers to commiserate with. It is strictly a neighborhood tavern with a coterie of local regulars who "own" the bar area and were disdainful of outsiders invading their space. We did not try the food. Service is friendly, albeit at a snail's pace. We noticed it was a conference facility with multiple meeting rooms. Frankly, the presentation, decor and condition might have been OK twenty years ago, but I would be embarrassed to have to book an event here today. read more

Hi my name is Robert I rented a room there for two months I stayed there in the past months today I rented a room there through hotels.com the lady at the front had an attitude so then she tells me or if she had a bad day I don't know she tells me all I'm not renting a room to you she wouldn't tell me why maybe the way I looked or what I'm wearing I have no idea they still know I don't have anything available I say I have a reservation through hotels.com but you have to get your money back through them so she refused to give me my money back hotels.com refused to give me my money back until I'm making a police report so I contact the police I would never go back to this place again I have been renting hotels for the past nine months because my house is under construction I would not recommend this hotel to no one there very rude and nasty people who work there thank you read more
