Everyone was friendly and polite. The food was hot and plenty on your plate. There was a great selection to choose from.

But the service provided by the owner, one woman bartender, and some other woman that was helping was down right rude and disrespectful!!!!!! Only two gentlemen were nice at this location. This place has no sense of manners or respect!!!!! They guests that attended the wedding were nice but that did not stop them from yelling aggressively at the guests! This place has to learn to treat people like human beings. If you don't like customer service then don't work in it!!!! Better yet, why doesn't this place just shut down, that way they don't have to deal with people period! Never ever have I been to a wedding venue where I felt so disrespected to the point where this place needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!! There is way to treat people and if you don't know how to do that then don't work in that kind of business. So, please everyone if you are looking for place that will be kind to your guests this is not the place to go!!!!

The food was incredible (we used their catering service) and the bartenders were so much fun! The owner, Cindy, is the fairy godmother of wedding planning and helped me with great referrals for our DJ and wedding cake. The reception hall is beautiful, candles and lights everywhere. They do have a smaller room for smaller parties, but we rented the entire hall and we definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

Very nice hacienda property that I just was introduced to attending a quinceanera party as a guest…read more There property is tucked away and nicely private. The arrival area has a lovely hacienda feel with a lovely fountain outdoor. There is a lovely outdoor patio on one side of the building with outdoor seating and fireplaces. There is also a deck on the opposite side with wooden cocktail tables to mingle and socialize. In the main building there are three different areas. The first area is a smaller casual hall that opens up onto the patio with fireplaces (which was very necessary as the temps outside turn chilly). This was the place where the service before the party was held with family and friends. This space was also used for the buffet dinner and desserts. After the service, we adjourned to the other side of the building that contains the stables for the property's horses. We had a cocktail reception in the stables and were able to make use of the outdoor patio. The main event hall is very large and easily can accommodate a large party of 200+. It is very sizable and there was ample room for a dance floor and a long head table. There is a large stage in front and things were beautifully decorated for the event. Everything looked so beautiful. Gorgeous option for parties, weddings, and corporate functions.

A theme that never changed no matter what the circumstances were was the importance of achieving as a family and supporting one another. Our time spent stateside opened opportunities for my sisters to seek higher educations and my brothers to seek business opportunities. Cepio taught me resiliency and self-reliance. Respect for life on the farm is something that was engrained in me from a young child, learning that nothing worth having comes easy. Passion for working with horses was almost an unspoken rite of passage that was passed down from my grandfather to my father, who later passed it down to me. Taylor was a dream to work with- she was always so kind and patient with us and all of the questions I had during our long engagement. She was always very detailed and prompt in her responses, willing to meet with us whenever we needed, and always presented different options and ideas! We are going to miss working with her! The team that worked the night of the wedding was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very polite and on top of everything! Whether it was setting up, taking down, service, etc. there was always someone around if there was a question. If you are on the fence about the venue, I highly recommend that you go check it out in person so you can see for yourself how special the space is and the potential it has to be the wedding of your dreams!

I was here on a Sunday afternoon for a wedding, and there were not very many people at the train station, which was good, but that might not be true on a Friday or Saturday evening though. The ballroom was absolutely gorgeous, and I'm sure the photos are amazing. But it was soooooo loud inside. I couldn't hear any of the ceremony at all. None of it. And we were in the middle of the room. I think only the first few rows could hear. The food was delicious. The passed hors d'oeuvres were great. Dinner was tasty, so was the cake. I don't know if they made it all, or if it was catered by someone else. The bartenders were quick, and I never had to wait long for a drink. All of the drinks were quite tasty. The balcony was incredible. Too bad there really wasn't much to look at outside. All of this makes it very hard for me to decide how I feel about the Joliet Grand Ballroom. I would have liked to be able to hear the ceremony, and walking through the train station was a little odd, but the space is incredible.
