I didn't see any recent reviews so I thought I'd share my recent stay at this "Quality" Inn. Terrible from beginning to end. First, the surprise $100 "security deposit" charged at check/in (then the front-desk clerk accidentally put a $200 hold on my card ‍). Run-down appearance of the lobby and hallway was just a sneak peek of the condition of my room. Room smelled of stale cigarette/weed smoke. Stained bedspread, yellowed pillowcases that were supposed to be white. Chair near the window was stained and had either crumbs or ashes on the seat (I was NOT brave enough to do a sniff test). Bathroom light flickered, unknown white substance on the ice bucket tray. The carpet felt damp on my bare feet (shoes went on and stayed on from that point on). The Mattress was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. The channels on the TV were plenty but the picture was snowy. The worst part was there was a loud party happening in the room next to mine. I went to the front desk to complain about the noise and was told by the man (after he had hung up the phone and called the customer stupid) that he couldn't change me to a quieter room because there was a limited number of rooms (not according to the number of cars in the dark scary parking lot, but okay) he said he would ask them to quiet down. Not sure he actually did that bc the noise continued well past midnight. I would say this was a case of "you get what you pay for" but the room was NOT cheap, in fact the rate was the same as what as I would have paid to stay in the city. (I chose this hotel to avoid a $45 parking fee at a nicer hotel in the city). TLDR: This hotel needs a major renovation and a staff that actually cares about their guests. read more

Rooms are outdated for the price. Shower heads are gunked up and the water barely gets warm. I took a shower and when I was done I pulled the blankets to check the bed and the mattress has blood stains. Complained and they moved me to another room. read more

The house cleaning staff are very friendly , if your looking for a quick place to sleep ( recommend) if your looking for a luxury place , not it . Even tho they allow dogs , I am happy as I have a service dog , but you will get barking dogs , you will get people hanging out smoking and not watching their dog or picking up the poop , and mind you the Inn does supply doggy bags outside and you will definitely get pot smell from some of the rooms . Majority of vending machine does not work , the inn is outdated but , it serves its purpose for me for 2 nights . read more

So my number one reason why I will never stay here again is that they do not have cotton sheets, but some microfiber garbage that had me sweaty all night long. We paid nearly $200 for a king room where there were holes in the sheets, scuffed furniture, tiny tiny bathroom, cheesy decor, scratch that, no decor. This was 100% not a $200 room. It's okay. You get what you pay for but it has all the basics. What was annoying was that while my kids were sleeping (both under 4) and I was just watching tv quietly (volume was single digits) another room complained to the front desk of the large banging coming from my room. Couldn't have been the case as we were quiet. This was before 8pm too. The phone call woke up both kids who ended up having a ton of trouble falling back asleep. Right in the middle. Not horrible and not great. It's a good place right down the middle. Not a problem with anyone. No vent/fan in the bathroom but absolutely not a tragedy. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Room was clean. I'm not in the room for the decor so only 2 pictures does not bother me in the least. The room was comfortable with the ac on. If you were expecting The Ritz, then you should pay for The Ritz. If you're looking for a place that does what it's supposed to and is clean and comfortable, then come here. Everyone was very polite. My wife became ill during our one-night stay . We cleaned up the mess from her sickness and informed the front desk. We were told that it was alright that sickness cannot always be prevented. To my surprise, the hotel charged me $100 on my credit card. I called to ask about the charge and the manager told me that they charge $100 to clean the carpet. This was never explained. I hate that most of the people who stayed here didn't have a great experience. We had a decent experience. No problems nor complaints. If you want a place to sleep and a haven for your pets then I highly recommend it. The room doesn't have any frills, but like I said, for us it was simply a place to sleep. My cats didn't mind it, and trust me, you'd hear about it if they did have an issue. They offer a daily hot breakfast with eggs and sausage along with other assorted items. I enjoyed this and appreciated that this was available opposed to going outside the hotel to get other stuff. The location isn't in a bad area. We are surrounded by a bunch of chain stores like Wal-Mart, Stop and Shop (Giant in DC), and other retail stores for shopping. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. Granted we stated on a Sunday to Monday with basically no one else here, however, we still enjoyed it and happy there weren't any noise problems. I would stay again. I don't care if the place was half way updated, I'm not looking for that, I'm looking for comfort and sleep. If you want sleek and updated, up your price point for a room. I would rate 0 stars if I could. They run scams here. I called to book a room here on the day I was expecting to stay, and they refused to tell me the price. Desperate for a room I still a greed, expecting it couldn't be too expensive. Upon arrival I asked again what the price of my room would be and they once again refused. Pressed for time due to a commitment I let it go expecting a receipt on check out. That receipt said I was charged a certain amount, yet they charged over $100 more to my card that the receipt claimed. They were of absolutely no help in this process and had no explanation. When I asked went through my bank to fix the error they sent back to my bank a completely different receipt that I had never seen and claimed I booked through a third party and that the additional fees went to them. This is something I definitely did not do. Be very careful staying here, or find somewhere else entirely. read more

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the Wi-Fi was awful. I couldn't write an email without getting disconnected. The entrance was difficult if you are coming from 195; you have to go into the parking lot of a boarded-up restaurant then into the Quality lot. The outside door closest to our room could be unlocked with the key card and opened from the outside, but it couldn't be opened from the inside. Recently, we booked lodging at this property through booking.com which indicated the property to be pet friendly. After checking the hotel website and learning that indeed they welcomed pets I reserved the room with Booking.com for two nights requesting a first floor room near an exit. Upon arrival we realized the error in our decision based on the general neglect of the common areas and a dated dirty guest room. Being the 4th holiday time we knew we were stuck as finding another option on a holiday late in the evening would have been next to impossible. The real issue arose the next afternoon when the guest room phone rang and the staff inquired if we had a dog in the room to which I responded, yes. The girl then started that we would be charged an addition $25.00 pet fee per night. This caught me off guard as the clerk the evening before who was aware of our pet had said nothing. I checked both the booking.com website and the hotel website and saw nothing listed about a pet fee. I went to the desk and noted that there was nothing posted in the lobby regarding a pet fee. I requested the clerk show me their pet policy which after two trips back to the desk I was told; "when I find it I'll let you know ! " The pet charge policy was never provided even at checkout when the additional $50.00 charge was already added. We will never return to this property and were very dissatisfied with the desk staff and the cleanliness of the establishment. read more

This Comfort Inn is an average, 3 star hotel with nothing bad or good to complain about. If you are looking for a comfortable bed for a quick stay, this isn't really a bad spot. The pool is nice, the showers are a good pressure, there's free breakfast, washer/drier and vending machines available. The only setbacks is that it doesn't feel exceptionally clean or safe - there are some strange people that look like they live here. I know they state that they are newly remodeled, but they do need a bit more updating. Overall, if hotels of choice in the area are booked this is not a bad option but there are better ones nearby. (Also, there are cheaper better options such as the nearby Hampton Inn - not sure why the prices are a bit steep here). Recommended as an alternate to hotels of choice and for a quick stay. read more

This hotel is an absolute dump. Checked in on Friday 5/15. As soon as we entered the room you could smell the mildew, I turned the light on, on the night stand to find a dead bed bug sitting right on the sheet. We took a picture and the clerk at the front desk stated "Not at this hotel. Our hotel is clean" I demanded a refund which we received, but had to look for another hotel @ 9:30 PM on a Friday night. We stayed at the Clarion down the street. Much nicer, restaurant was good, and I'd stay there again. I've also placed 3 calls in to customer service and have gotten nowhere in regards of getting a refund for the difference we had to pay. They leave you on hold and then disconnect you. I've also called and left 2 messages for the hotel manager whom I'm told is named "Raj" and I've yet to hear back from him. My last call was to the Seekonk Board of health this morning, who will be launching an investigation. DON'T STAY HERE. THIS PLACE IS NASTY AND SHADY. read more

Eek! Methinks NOT. I have two words for the Quality Inn, YUCK & GROSS!! I would have rated this hotel a negative 10 if I could! There is no Quality in the Quality Inn! They should have paid me to stay there! As I entered the building, there was a strong odor of ganja & cigarette smoke. When I entered my room, I was immediately hit in the face with a smell I can only describe as BO and dirty feet / dirty ass! I thought about requesting another room but I don't think it would have made a difference. As usual, I checked the bed for bedbugs. Thank goodness I didn't see any but what I did see was just as gross. Hair, food, dust along the headboard, a worn almost moldy mattress pad and to top it off, a dead spider in my sheets. I cranked the AC hoping to get rid of the smell. The odor in the hallway can be best described as a rotting dead body or dead fish. It was so bad I had to block my nose and not breathe. The entire hotel is dated, not clean and a place I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!! To add to my horrible stay, when flushing my toilet, it made a high pitch squealing sound that lasted for 42 minutes! You should be able to hear the video on this post. The only thing that was good was the breakfast. The woman who provides the food did a great job. I will NEVER stay at a Quality Inn again! The owners need to get their act together. Owning a hotel is a business and they obviously don't have any pride or respect for the public who stay there. I'm really uncertain as to why Comfort Inn has gotten such a poor rating on Yelp, but I also cant help but notice that no reviews are recent either. Why, Yelp community? Why are you not telling us what your stay at the Seekonk Comfort Inn was like? Well let me tell you what our stay was like- To start off, we arrived from Portland to Boston at 6am after a miserable red-eye that added up to roughly 12 hours of travel, and went through absolute hell with Advantage Car Rentals (don't EVER use them, they are HORRIBLE). After having to change our company and load our holiday-vacation-plate up with fresh-baked stress, we were exhausted, and although the original plan was to kill time until check-in at Comfort Inn, we braved a call to see if they would allow us an early check-in. Without hesitation, they said they'd have our room ready by 8:45. That is the earliest check-in I have ever heard of. When we arrived, and I went to the front desk, the gentleman who recieved me was beyond accomodating and friendly, even mentioning that it was still breakfast time if I was interested, which I was. We were hungry and it was a long, tiring flight. We went to our room, and it was immaculate. In fact, a typical stroll down the hall will show you that while the maids work on these rooms, they are so dilligent and thorough that they completely dismember the air conditioning units to clean out any accumulating dust. On some carts, you will even see a small can of paint for touch ups in rooms. I WISH we'd have had a room this clean and functional when we stayed at the Treasure Island in Las Vegas. The rooms were quiet, and down the hall from us was a couple who had three small screaming dogs who could not be heard from our room, despite having heard them when we walked past theirs. The entry to the hotel from the street is indeed a pain in the ass, but it certainly isn't something to discredit the hotel over. Our stay was perfect. It was our sanctuary from potential family drama over in Rhode Island. It was perfect. We checked in via priceline, so we paid 50 dollars a night, which is a steal, honestly. They have an exercise room with a flat screen tv and cable, and a stack of hand towels and pitcher of water with cups, ready for whoever needs it. It's not my gym, but I was thrilled to have it and it was all fully functional and located in a perfect spot that didn't have foot-traffic in front of the window making you feel like an overweight goldfish. Mother-in-law and sister-in-law stayed at the Comfort Inn in Pawtucket as it was closer to the aunt we came across the country to see. They, however, paid more than twice the amount that we did to stay in Seekonk, which we have come to really love for it's inexpensive simplicity. The trip as a whole had it's ups and it's downs, but one of the biggest ups was having a reliably great place to retreat to at the end of the day. read more

This is better named the Discomfort Inn. I was only here for a night as to why I didn't go elsewhere but this place is kind of dumpy. This was an easy pick for me at first, decent reviews, under $150 and said newly remodeled. They tried to complete a nice remodel but they missed the mark. They left lots of old rusty fixtures in my room amongst brand new furnishings. Not attractive. The bathroom was outdated and had been painted by someone that got extra paint all over the door. My shower walls were also cracked which is concerning. Very sloppy remodel overall. The bed wasn't comfortable and my tv wouldn't turn on. The staff was nice, there is your 2 stars. We got this place on Priceline. All in all, not bad. It was clean and comfortable, and had a nice pool. They have a great continental breakfast (belgian waffles, coffee, flavored creamers, bagels, english muffins, danish, cereal, fruit, juice, etc) which made it even more worthwhile. Downsides - it felt like we were missing a light, the directions on the shower were backwards and the door didn't shut the way a hotel door usually does, we accidentally left it cracked while we were at breakfast! read more

Stayed here for a week visiting from California. We paid for 2 rooms that were connected by a common door. The shared door wouldn't open because the carpet was so jacked up. Also, upon entering the non-smoking hotel, both rooms reeked as if someone had just smoked a pack in each room. We were very unhappy with it so we had asked to move. The front desk was very unfazed by the complaint and didn't really even apologize. They gave us 2 temporary room keys to check out 2 separate rooms to see which one we preferred. One out of the two smelt like smoke so we chose the semi-okay smelling room. Once laying down for bed my husband and I could not shake the smell of urine wafting into our faces. Then we remembered it's also a pet friendly hotel. So which is worse? The smell of urine or cigarette smoke?? We were pretty miserable. Also walking a around barefoot isn't recommended. The carpet is filthy. And the restroom had black mold forming on the ceiling. Overall, I would never stay here again unless I was desperate. Great place, reasonable price. We arrived late after a harrowing 5-hour drive and check-in took about 4 minutes. The room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of channels on the TV, even the remote looked like it had been recently cleaned. The temperature was comfortable, the shower was clean and large and we had plenty of hot water. Nice large counter so we could spread out all our cosmetics and the hotel-supplied soap smelled nice. Very comfortable beds; we slept quite well. Breakfast even included scrambled eggs and sausage, in addition to the usual fare of pastries, waffles, toast, yogurt, etc. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Courteous staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms. At this price point, what more could you want? Oh, and it's pet-friendly, with a little bowl of dog treats at the check-in desk! read more

This place as noted by others is a dump and should be condemned and the chain should shut this down! Visited here on a Saturday and was checking in and got to the room and decided to check out it was so bad. The place is old, run down and has stains all over the hall and room carpets. The outside has chipped paint and cracking walls and sidewalks. It sits in the middle of strip mall heaven and fast food hell with every type of store and food establishment within walking distance. Weird thing is there is a house of some sort attached to this dumpy hotel which looks like an old trailer. The pool area is run down and nasty with chipping edges and stuff floating in it. We were so disgusted we had to run out of this place. Do yourself and your family a favor, no matter how low budget you are staying, skip this nasty place and go to the Hampton Inn across the road. You will save yourself the headache of sleeping in a nasty pit. read more

Be careful when booking your stay at this hotel. I reserved a double room on 9/10/2016 for May 2017, NEXT YEAR!! 3weeks later I cancelled the Rez. And they charged me 388.72 on my credit card without my authorization. I am not getting the room cause I cancel with them and they have plenty of time to rebook this room and yet they charge my Credit card. I do not recommend this hotel for your stay. We stayed here for two weeks on business. Early during our stay, returning to hotel from long day I stepped out of my truck and next thing I was on my back, my hip in agony from the impact of slipping in ice. I reported incident to front desk immediately asking a manager get a hold of me. Not a word of any procedure, she just said sorry. A couple days had passed and still nothing from a manager. I went to front desk, they heard about what happened and wanted me to fill out an incident report. I thought it was unnecessary. After playing phone tag with the manager (Sonny Patel) for several days, telling front desk manager of the fall, leaving Sonny a message, I finally spoke with him after we checked out. I then learned of their supposed procedure I didn't follow properly. He didn't have anything to offer.
