This was the cheapest hotel we found and we wish we had just paid $10 or $20 more for another one. The service was friendly and responsive, but the overall experience was sub par. When we got to our room, the cleanliness lacked which is very concerning amid covid 19. The remote control had dirty smudges on it that wiped off with my finger, and the towels had some small stains. Additionally, the smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag like someone was smoking in here prior and wrapped it to keep it from going off. There was supposed to be breakfast included but due to C-19 it was going to be individually wrapped items, however, the entire breakfast spread consisted of one whole grain pop-tart (I didn't know they made whole grain ones) at 7:45 am. Spend the extra $20 and go to another nearby location. This is cheaper but not a better value.

    Cockroach

There was cockroaches in our rooms and front desk did nothing about it. Very unprofessional. Didn't have towels had to go ask for some.

The room was prep with one set of towels. Sheets on bed ill fitting, we were constantly fighting to keep sheets on mattress. Window curtain torn. In reviewing previous photos by others, it seems to be the same torn curtain from 2 years ago. Ceiling over window appear to have some type of water damage. Remote control missing back cover. Outside of hotel appears nice, which is miss leading. Ice machine leaking water. The day of leaving the toilet plugged. Also, the day of leaving a New guest entered our room using their key card. An additional room was rented for a family member and their toilet also plugged. There wasn't a phone in room to call desk. A complaint was made and they left a toilet plunger outside of the room door without informing them that is was there. No one offer to fix the problem. This place should be renamed Less Quality Inn. The positive side No Bed Bugs seen. This was the worst place ever.

I cannot even give this drug house one star. I'm extremely upset and disappointed. I wish I had read the reviews before our stay. People said the same things I saw. Number one, this place is NOT safe. It is like a crack house. The lobby teaks of marijuana. Despite being a smoke free hotel, my pillows smell like cigarettes. We booked a two room suite. The picture showed living room with fireplace. No fireplace, the pull out couch remakes of garbage literally. The tv in the bedroom had no cable box or remote. When complained to desk they could t help me. The box in living room is just laying on top of tv hanging off edge. The furniture looks like thrift store . The light fixture and fan are hanging from ceiling out. The whole hotel smells like garbage and pot. When we went down to get bedding for pull out couch the front desk person could not be found. People that lived here were looking all over for her. They. Are the ones who gave us bedding!! They actually LIVE here. It looks like many do. People were hanging out of 3rd story windows watching people. Party going on in front of entrance. To top it off, a guy was lurking in the stair well that did not appear to be a guest! I felt very unsafe by now but we could not find another hotel at midnight. Then we woke up to someone not a guest, appeared Homeless and was sleeping in lounge and pool. Then appeared to take a syringe and shoot up with drugs! He started jerking around etc. the elevator is broken and we are on the 3rd floor. I am turning the place in and getting my money back. So sketchy here. Rooms do not look like pics on web site. We booked another room for our second night stay.

Awful place to stay. Unfortunately I have to put a star which it doesn't deserve one. I was maybe there an 1 hour or so. The place smelled, people hanging out on the side or the hotel. I was in my room the furniture was maybe from a 2nd hand shop, the office chair was very dirty, the toilet seat was cracked, the microwave was very old and had a cigarette burn on it, the bedspread had 2 holes from a cigarette that fell on it, the remote control without the back cover, it smelled like weed. I'm sitting on the bed and got bitten on my back, foot and my butt. I packed my things and went to another hotel. I don't not recommend this place to stay. Unfortunately, this place was recommended by my timeshare. Such a gross place to stay. Stay at your own I

Posting this review @ 8:45am. Already checked out and changed to another hotel. Woke up @ 6:30am on Saturday to freeway noise, leaf blower noise, heater in room rattled. Stiff neck because pillows were lumpy and tiny. Phone was dirty and sticky. The shower floor 'squeaked' when I stood in it. Shower head was set at 5'5 level- too low. There are too many other hotels around to choose this one.

In my experience this has been thee worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Kids running up and down the halls all night long, yelling playing and screaming. Including upstairs. Felt like we were surrounded. The pool and hot tub were so green it would make your stomach turn. The patio chairs out front are rotten. I do not recommend staying here if you have to work early mornings. If I didn't have to put a star I wouldn't.

Lied about breakfast time, looks delish hu?

Breakfast at 6am is what they say when checking in. It's 6:11am and now it's going to be at 6:30 because "they are running low". On the plus side, coffee was available.

Stained pillow cases, did not use pillows.

Best Western Town & Country Lodge was the nearest location to the event, safe neighborhood, and that was rated more than a 2-Star. For a 3-Star hotel, they meet the standard amenities. They even have an outdoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was out of service at the time of my visit. PROS -Self parking on the premises with cameras. -Near my event with restaurants nearby. -Reasonable price. -Free breakfast. CONS -Noise at night from the busy road. -Walls are paper thin. -I smelled Coffee at 6 AM! Why? -No blackout curtains. -Loud AC unit made random clicking sound. Overall, my stay was fine for one night. If I was to stay more than one night, I would ask for the a room in the back of the premises because I was woken up a couple of times by sirens and loud noise. I'm also a light sleeper. My room was on the second floor near the front desk. Although the room is dated, I can tell it was recently painted and upgraded with new furnishings. Well maintained and clean. The room is spacious and had all the basic amenities, plus a microwave! Complimentary breakfast 6-9 AM daily with a good variety. Coffee, tea, juice, waffle maker, toaster with bread, bagel and muffin, cereals and hot items like scrambled eggs, sausages and biscuits and gravy. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but they seem friendly.

My one critique is I was traveling with a baby so I wasn't looking at the time. I made sure she had enough food during breakfast but at 9AM sharp the doors to the cafeteria were locked and shut so I lost track of time and therefore lost the ability to get myself a plate. A 5 minute warning would of been great but otherwise a great place to stay.

Checking in was a breeze. We were greeted by a very friendly attendant at the front desk, and there were multiple carts available for luggage. We got a very reasonable price on our room, so we were looking forward to staying in one of the king suites. However, immediately after check-in, I had to use the restroom and, as I sat down, a very large cockroach crawled out from the bathtub drain. I called the front desk and they offered to switch us to another room. We did attempt to check out the other room, but aside from the insecticide they had sprayed, I could smell a lingering cigarette odor likely from a previous guest. Unfortunately, I have a heightened sense of smell and can detect things that others might not. Ultimately, we decided to return to the first room after they treated it for the insect. On the second day of our stay, we requested an additional blanket for my child, who was sleeping on the pullout bed, to be delivered later in the evening. Breakfast was adequate, though we wished there were more fresh fruit selections. At the time, the only bananas available were very green and the apples didn't look too appealing. As we prepared to leave, we placed a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and left for the day. When we returned later that evening, I noticed that the towels had been changed and some had been placed over the bathtub while the towel on the floor had been picked up. I was surprised because we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign up, which meant no one should have entered our room. I checked the phone and saw that there was no message indicating someone had been in. I called the front desk to inquire about it, and the attendant stated they were unable to see in their system if the room had been entered, but that management would call us the next morning. I requested to be contacted as soon as possible since we would be checking out around lunchtime. The following morning, I had not received a call, so we went down for breakfast. I spoke with the front desk gentleman, who turned out to be a Sales Rep rather than an attendant. I explained what had happened and expressed my concern about the lack of communication. Initially, he seemed frustrated, and I couldn't understand why he was upset with me. After leaving to drop off food for my child, I returned for coffee and spoke to him again to clarify the situation. He was very polite and apologized for any misunderstanding, confirming that someone had been in our room due to the towel mix-up. I mentioned that I understood mistakes happen, but I felt the lack of communication was unfortunate. I also pointed out other issues with our room, including a slow-draining shower, low water pressure, and a showerhead that wouldn't fully turn off, mentioning that they might want to send maintenance to check these after we checked out. On a positive note, the sink water pressure was excellent. After breakfast, we went for a swim before showering, packing our bags, and checking out. Let's be honest, this is one of the more budget-friendly options within the Hilton brand, so it's important to set realistic expectations. Despite the hiccups, I was genuinely happy with how the situations were handled. Considering we got an excellent rate on the room, we weren't upset. If we had paid full price for the experience, we probably would have been more disappointed. The staff was very courteous and even added bonus points to my Hilton account as a gesture of goodwill. Everyone was polite and friendly, and the breakfast attendant was diligent in refilling any items that ran out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if the price was right.

My first room I noticed that the AC unit was leaking water or something on the floor, I let the front desk know and they moved me right away, actually to an upgraded larger room, which was nice. I typically always stay at Hampton's while traveling, it is a nice hotel and has good value. They offer free parking as well as free breakfast daily at a decent price. They are clean, safe and comfortable. My room was a king with a fold out couch. It also had a bar area and sink. The rooms always have a microwave, coffee maker and fridge which is great for your stay. This location has a pool and a gym as well. I did not get a pic of the pool, but I did get pics of the gym. The gym is small, but works, but the reason this location is getting 4 stars and not 5 is they were missing many of their dumbbells, I made it work, but they did not have any that were over 35 pounds. I typically try to pick a hotel that has a nice gym and I was disappointed a bit with this one, but I think they could easily improve this and get 5 stars next time. If they added a Precor weight machine, then it would be a no brainer. If you are traveling and need a nice clean, comfortable spot that does not break the bank, I would recommend this location. Enjoy!

It's an old historic building so, things happen. The knocking though quickly turned into a roar. We contacted the front desk and this is where the true professionalism of the hotel crew, and particularly Maria, shined through. Maria quickly came upstairs, assessed the situation, triaged with other teams inside the hotel, and identified a solution within 20 minutes. Given the scope of the repair was unclear at the time, she moved us to another room and even upgraded us (even though she didn't have to!) for the inconvenience.
