My room was well appointed and it had outlets galore! I never had to look far to plug in my phone or steamer or any other gadget - a rarity in hotels. It was quiet overall but there is construction nearby which could disturb day sleepers. Worried about the most germ filled item in rooms..the remote? No worries, they even provided a disinfectant wipe for it! The staff were upbeat and friendly from the front desk to the Bistro, it was very impressive. The only other issue was the carpet near window was wet so there is leaking somewhere. Other than that they are great and so so close to five stars in my eyes!

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the town square, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. For those who prefer to stay in, the Bistro downstairs offers a decent selection of food. While not gourmet, the meals are tasty, filling, and perfect for enjoying in your room or in the bar/bistro area with a bit of camaraderie. My room was quiet overall, aside from some chatter from a group enjoying the firepit area directly below my room. It wasn't loud enough to disturb my rest, and I didn't mind it. I stayed in a King room with a sofa, which was perfect for two people. The room was clean and included standard amenities like a fridge, microwave, desk, TV, ironing board, and more. The bathroom featured a spacious walk-in shower stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even better!

Please spare yourself the time, money and frustration--DO NOT STAY HERE!…read more We're from Oklahoma, and we unfortunately had car trouble while driving on the interstate. We pulled off onto the Villa Rica, GA exit and parked in a retail area. Being that we have to wait until the next morning to have a mobile mechanic to work on our vehicle we decided to stay at a "hotel" within walking distance. We had been traveling for over 8 hours, and we have four kids, ages 1, 3, 7, and 12. We were tired, frustrated, and the kids were hungry. We just wanted a room to rest. And a local told us the Econo Lodge was "decent." We booked a room via Priceline, and still got a high price. We had to walk to the hotel with all four kids and all of our luggage, being that our van was broke down. When we arrived to the hotel, we noticed when you walk into the hotel you're in this little holding room, with a window, not a lobby. So my wife and three daughters remained outside with our luggage while my son and I went into check in. I went ahead and attempted to check in, but I was met with the worst customer service. At first, they were looking at me like I was suspicious. And questioning why my family were outside. We simply did not want to crowd the tiny check-n area. We were told we didn't pay enough through Priceline, so I had to pay more. Then I was told we had to give a "deposit for incidentals." I paid this too. We were just tired and we wanted to get in the room. After I finally got a key card and went outside, my wife was sobbing, on the phone with her mother, and told me that she believed she witnessed prostitution on the property. While we new that this was a presumption, we figured we would just go to our room and lock the doors, and just get through the night. When we walked through the door to our room, the smell was absolutely rancid. It smelled of cat litter and cigarette smoke. Being that our children have sever allergies there was no way we could allow them to stay there. On our way back to our vehicle we noticed the same female meeting and entering into another room with another man who had just arrived. At this point we did not feel comfortable staying at this establishment with our three daughters. I contacted the front desk and informed them only of the room at the time, not to make any issue about the other situation. I was told that we would be "released if the obligation to the room," wherein I was under the impression that we were getting a refund, as long as the room hadn't been used. They supposedly went and checked the room. When questioning about the refund, we were told to call Priceline to process the refund. And of course, this took a while due to "high call demand." I was also told the room key no longer works for the room we paid for, and to throw it in the trash. Priceline contacted them to discuss the situation and the hotel REFUSED TO REFUND. And they stayed the reservation still "stand as is." Therefore, they refused me a refund, and I did not have access to the room I paid for. We planned to try and drive to our destination; however, at this point our van was no longer capable of driving, so we rented another hotel room for the night. After Priceline had contacted me and informed me that the hotel was refusing to refund me the money for the reservation, I had contact with the front desk. The individual stated I needed to call Priceline, and that they "no longer had any dealings with me." I told them that I had called Priceline and spoke to two reps, and one supervisor, and they're all saying that they can do nothing because of "hotel policy on cancellation." Another individual at the front desk told me "it's not our problem," They also told me to "call Priceline again," and states they would just refuse the refund again. They denied charging my bank card, saying Priceline charged me, not them. And then stayed that Priceline paid them, but they will not issue a refund. And they hung up on me multiple times. Just horrible people, and place.

The couple of times I've stayed here, I've experienced the following: 1) Guests: Strange guests that smoke marijuana in their rooms. They have a no smoking policy so I'm not sure why they can't kick them out. Smells like Motel 6 at times 2) HVAC: A few months ago, I was in a room where the AC was not blowing any cold air. Settings were correct. I reached out to the front desk and they sent their maintenance person who opened the front panel and plugged something in. Well that didn't work either and finally they decided to give me another room. 3) Roaches: Yes.....do I need say more. 4) Cleanliness: Sheets are not that clean and neither are towels. You can tell when one towel is more yellow then the other. If you really look at the bathroom floors, you will find hair everywhere. The pull out bed from the couch is this old filthy mattress. The bag with the sheets and pillow were probably up there for a long time as they did not smell right. Had to get that swapped out. And don't bother looking under the sofas....you'll know how well housekeeping cleans. 5) Elevators: Stay away from them. Back in July 2024 we were in the left elevator and when it reached the lobby we heard and felt this loud thump. Then it took the door 20 seconds to open. We started to use the one on the right. Well, fast forward to last week's stay, we were on the same dang elevator and as soon as it reached the lobby the door would not open at all. It kept trying to open but it was stuck in a loop where it would close before it could crack open. We tried pressing the button, but no luck. Then I hit the 2nd floor and it still would not do anything. I ended up calling using their emergency line and they stated they'll get someone from maintenance to assist. Well 10 min go by and I was about to lose it. All of a sudden the elevator began to go up to the 2nd floor and opened. We pretty much ran out and took the stairs. Then when they saw us they canceled the fire fighters to assist. An Out of Order sign was never placed and another guest got stuck as well. Then they finally put up a sign. They were willing to give us some money back for the stay but it would not benefit me b/c my employer paid for the room so they gave me extra points....only 2,000 points...not enough for anything.

The first thing I want to address is that I leave reviews constantly for businesses and I rarely…read morepost a negative review. Secondly, my husband and I are owners with Wyndham. Our contract is paid off, and we only have to pay maintenance fees each month. The reason we joined Wyndham was because of the level of accommodations that were offered. We always appreciated the safety and cleanliness of Wyndham properties. Finally, I understand that "newly acquired" properties need time to be renovated, but it is probably wise not to have those properties available for owners to use...there were many points used to book this. The reason I chose this resort was because we were looking for a low-key, nature-focused retreat for my aging parents and us. I researched the area and found some fun things to do off-property but thought the amenities on-property would keep us busy. Little did I know, those amenities were not all available and were spread all over the "resort" making it difficult to navigate. I will start with my positives as they are few--the gentleman who was at the guardhouse to let us in, was very friendly. Susie, who we met with when we checked out after being on property less than 12 hours, was very helpful and understanding. Everything else was terrible. The photos available were definitely not accurate to the property. The "cottage" was disgusting. There is no one at the front desk after 5pm. We did not arrive until 9pm. After getting our envelope with keys and pitiful directions from the guardhouse, we drove around the property for a LONG time. There is limited signage and not much in the way of lighting. The property is primarily residential...and the residents are not fans of people driving the speed limit on roads they are unfamiliar with. My husband does not drive slow, and residents were driving like crazy on the roads as we were looking for our rental. Instead of writing another paragraph, I'm just going to list the issues we had with the "cottage": -broken front step -uneven floors -floor strips pulling up from the ground -all flooring was sticky -carpet was deeply stained and pulling away from the floor and walls -film/grime on the bathroom mirrors and counters -hairs on the towels and toilets -shower shelves leaning off the wall -hair dryer pulling off the wall -stairs to the loft shaking and pulling off the ground -extremely limited storage in bathrooms -mold on bathroom wall -overwhelming smell of mildew, mold, "musty" My husband tried calling Wyndham but they directed us to the property's front desk...where there was no one overnight. As soon as the front desk was open, my husband and I went in and spoke with Susie (who was great). We gave her our list of grievances and concerns. We called Wyndham again and after expressing our frustration over the property, the reinstated a little over half of our points. We left and drove to Marietta to stay in a hotel chain that we know and trust. We feel like the worst financial decision we have made as a married couple was to join Wyndham. We are looking for our options to get out. We have yet to have a Wyndham experience that has been positive from start to finish. Usually it's the annoying process of harassment for attending a meeting at check-in which sets our vacation off to a stressful and rocky start. This time, it was the rental property along with the lack of timely customer service. My parents, my husband and myself would definitely encourage readers to stay somewhere else. Wyndham, you have become a huge disappointment.

Be prepared for spotty cell service as you travel miles off the main road into a tranquil escape. There is free parking directly in front of the clubhouse, where you will check in to enjoy your day. Venue and Atmosphere The clubhouse is recently renovated, bright, well appointed, and clean. We visited the pool and restaurant via a day pass. The pool area features lockers and showers, and they even have pool floaties that you can borrow, free of charge. The pool is large, with plenty of room for multiple groups to be inside and not bumping into anyone. There is a hot tub and adults only pool as well, however when we visited the adult pool was closed. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Our waitress and bartender were great. They were professional and the drinks were amazing! Food and Beverages We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, hamburger, and many more margaritas than I'd like to admit (it's 5 o'clock somewhere right?). Everything was delicious, served hot, and the drinks were flavorful yet strong enough. Nothing on the lunch menu was too heavy, which was perfect because I like to digest my meal while relaxing in the pool. Verdict I'll definitely visit again. A pool day is always a nice treat, especially during the dog days of ATL summer!
