Omg if I had known about Leo the tuxedo, I would have been by here all the time lol. Now I will - he he ;). We were just walking past here this evening and saw him through the door just sitting there nonchalantly as if to lure people in - he sure lured us in! We went in and petted him and he didn't seem to mind - very nice, calm and friendly in an unobtrusive way. He had a very chill vibe like he owns the place - he probably does :) Our first time ever in this store, we walked down the aisles looking around for something to buy as we didn't want to just pet the cat and leave, that would not be nice! They definitely have a lot of stuff - groceries, snacks, drinks etc. We bought a bottle of sweet lime concentrate for $5. According to some other reviews online, seems that they have fresh sandwiches too breakfast and lunch - will have to try those someday. Surprisingly was one of the only stores in Boston that sold Dom Perignon as of Aug 2022. They were very helpful and provided a very good price on this bottle. It's small and unassuming, but definitely a great place to get whatever tier of alcohol you want! read more

What a great family business! Definitely a place to stop by for all different things you may need.

Pros: they have $1 Arizona beverages that are not up-charged. They sell the chips and stuff for the prices on the bags as well. There's a deli in the back that looked good but we didn't try it. Just like the convenience. Cons: aisle spacing level: sardine can Some stuff doesn't have prices and there's a long line so you can't really ask about it Not sure if a someone cruising around in a wheelchair could navigate the store. The most convenient place. The nicest petiole even though there is quite a bit of turnover but I feel that's due to covid. Before vivid it was a lot more consistent. Either way. A quality tale: Walking to the Green Line from Cambridgeport, I decided that perhaps I wanted some beer for home and happened upon the Quality Mart. Here, in its cramped shelves, I wandered the long trek to back refrigerators, wherein was housed the beer. It was a mysterious journey through unorganized food, piles of 24 packs, nary a price in sight. Perhaps, I thought, this is a bartering sort of thing, where I will discover the price of my beer if I can manage to get it back around to the register. Well, I brought up my Sam Adams and asked ye olde shopkeep if he took credit cards, because once you see piles without prices on them, you sometimes wonder. He informed me that he did, indeed, accept credit cards, but he didn't seem at all happy about it. He also didn't seem too happy to be crammed behind the register or, indeed, to be faced with a customer. Still, since he took cards, I inquired about the price, not wanting to be charged a fortune for a six pack of Sam. He mumbled something under his breath in a tone that suggested perhaps I would do better to pay with my own blood, but I couldn't hear him exactly, so I asked for clarification. After three or four attempts, I was able to find that the beer was about Sam Adams-priced, so I gave him the aforementioned card and asked to please have a copy of the receipt, just in case. He tore off the receipt as if it were my head, shoved into the beer casing, and the wrapped one of those delivery, see-through smilie face bags around my beer, poking a hole through the smile with one of the bottles. Not wanting to exit with an open container and be whisked away by the MBTA police, I asked if I could perhaps have another bag. "No!" he said, adding with his expression that I could, if I were worried about transporting my beer, wrap the bag around my face and pretend it was a space helmet. I love Quality Mart. I live essentially right above the place and the fact that they're so convenient definitely plays a role in how much I like it. Their wine selection isn't terrible and the prices are usually pretty good. They carry a lot of stuff and the fact that they use LevelUp makes them that much better. I've already gotten $14 dollars to spend with them! I won't say that the people who work there are the most friendly people I've ever met, but they aren't exactly mean either. They sort of just...do their job. Can't hate them for that! As long as I can go down at 11:55PM, pick up some Flamin' Hot Cheetos and Sour Skittles and be on my way I'm perfectly content with them. read more

Q-mart is great in general. Their prices are not the cheapest, but the convenience and their selection of items is more than excellent. They have almost everything you can think of in their store at a reasonable price. Their customer service is also very good. If you treat them like workers, they will treat you like a customer and nothing else. However, if you actually take the time to engage in conversation with them and treat them like people, you will find that they are very friendly. I've had plenty of great conversations with the cashiers, and there's a certain "homeyness" to shopping there that makes for a great experience. If you are still aren't convinced, here's one great point about Qmart: They will actually listen to suggestions. Four times I have needed something, gone to Qmart only to find out that they didn't have it, suggested that they get it, and then found the item in the store after a few days. This place is an absolute joke. I am 23 yr. old and went in there to buy a 6 pack. When asked to present my ID I did so. The clerk proceeded to tell me my ID was fake because it was from Arkansas without asking for a second form of ID. When my roommate from California behind me attempted to buy beer he was asked for a second form of ID before being allowed to do so. I attempted to show the clerk 3 credit cards and a school ID but was only answered with "No, it's fake." Never have I been treated with such ignorance of the rest of the country and never again will I give this store my business. read more

Do not go here!!! The guy is honestly there to rip people off. Drinks at the cooler labeled for special...think again. When you go up to pay for them he will play stupid with you and look at you with a blank ass stare. Even after you point out the advertisement on the damn cooler itself. Quality Mart isn't bad. Some of their prices are actually lower than Marlborough Market.The staff is pretty friendly. However, allot of their alcohol doesn't have a price on it. But they do have a great beer selection and sell hookah supplies. read more

Didn't buy anything but this is access point for UPS an may be the worst place in the state for that responsibility . I went there legit minutes after my package was dropped off and the guy working "Sean" said he was only person working and could not retrieve my package . Why are they access point for UPS if they cannot get a package every time there is a customer there for there stuff. But I said okay and came back 3 hours later, there was still Sean and also a new guy who was very nice. Sean presided to get my package only to come back and say they didn't have it,, I called amazon and ups and they both said that 3 hours beforee the package was dropped off with Sean. But some how Sean lost the package . The other guy who was now there working helped me looking for the package and we still couldn't find it, now that I think about it Sean did ask me what was in the package so I am thinking he just stole it but the point of this is Sean is worst employe I've ever encountered and is also prolly a thief. Im so angry UPS uses them for anything , I will never go to this store again in my life and ya Will make it clear to my delivery service never to leave anything there. Considering how horrible Sean was I can't imagine the store itself and the customer service can be any better , obv if you just need a pack of ciggs then fine but I suggest not to use a card cause I wouldn't put it pass Sean and this store to have credit card scimmers . I go to this store to pick up wine and cheese. I go here to pick up breakfast when I'm late for work. I go here to get aspirin on Monday mornings. When it's cold I get a tea or coffee and when it's hot I get ice cream. This not the wholesale club, this is the neighborhood store and they have the supplies I need. read more

The clerks are some of the most friendly that I have encountered, always smiling and trying to assist. Though the layout is a little confusing, you can find some version of whatever you need. Additionally the coffee rivals that of several franchises and is just $1. The items don't usually have price tags, but with all the good things going on I am quite ok with this. P.S. This may be the worst convenience store I've encountered in my life. 1) They will sell you scratch off tickets, but if you come in to cash in winners, half the time they claim their machine is broken... but they will sell you more! 2) Their prices are absurd. 3) Check the dates on any product you buy from there. I've bought several items before that have expired dates on them. 4) They tried to steal my debit card! Got a few items one afternoon, he swiped my card and then kept it behind the register. I started to walk out, then remembered and said something to him and he said he didn't have it. I said "well, I don't have it and you just swiped it." In every neighborhood there exists a corner store. It's where you grab a six pack after work, an evening sandwich when you're too lazy to cook, or your daily pack of cigarettes. It exists only in passing as a place to stop in the morning to grab a cup of a coffee. This is your ideology on the corner store until you walk into Quality Mart. Quality Mart is an experience. The service is absolutely outstanding. They have a wide array of products that everyone needs. Forgot limes at trader joes? No problem, Quality Mart has them. Want Breakfast? your hunger will be eased because Kenny will whip you up a bacon, egg, and cheese in a flash. Late for a party and need to bring liquid refreshments? They have a vast array of wine from around the world and enough beer to survive a nuclear holocaust. I've been a daily customer at this store for about a year and every single day the owner and employees of this establishment remind me of how appreciative they are of me as a customer and keep me coming back. They're also dog friendly and provide a plethora of treats for furry four-legged customers. My bulldog is just as thankful for them as I am. If you want the silent treatment and to be treated like a dollar sign go to any other store in this neighborhood, but if you're lucky enough to step inside Quality Mart, expect greatness. read more
