That part was not a big deal, and I fully understand that the substitution settings may have been my mistake. Since the Uber Eats driver had not yet arrived at the store, I called Blanchards simply to ask whether it might still be possible to swap the replacement for something else. The man who answered the phone was unbelievably sassy, rude, and condescending from the outset. Before I could even explain what I was asking, he interrupted me with, "Stop. What's your name first? What's your name?" I gave him my name and calmly explained that I was just wondering whether the replacement could still be changed. His response was, "Sweetheart, let me give you a little lesson in how this works." I politely told him that I understood how Uber Eats works and was only asking whether, since the driver had not arrived yet, there was any possibility of changing the replacement. He then called me "sweetheart" again and told me the item had already been rung up. Had he simply said, "I'm sorry, once the order is processed we can't change it," that would have been completely fine. I would have thanked him and moved on. The wine substitution itself was never the issue. What I found unacceptable was being spoken to like an idiot and repeatedly called "sweetheart" by a sassy male employee when I had been perfectly polite throughout the conversation. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude or the condescension. I've rarely felt compelled to write a review over a phone interaction, but this was genuinely appalling customer service. A simple "sorry, we can't change it" would have taken ten seconds and accomplished exactly the same thing without the condescending little "lesson in how this works."

The bottles are wrapped with foam to ensure they don't break or bang against one another. There is a cardboard cut out of Sam Adams near the exit so you can take a bunch of silly pics with it on your way out. If the parking lot is full street parking isn't so bad even on weekends. We parked about two blocks away near the residential area.

FH Liquors is an excellent example of a small business with very little behind it that strives to serve it's customers with good customer service and products they want. I will go here all the time.
