They seemed nice initially but much of my stuff was severely damaged with scratches on my antique tables, broken beyond repair ceramics and mirrors. When I called to report the damage the person who spoke to me was so rude and disrespectful to me I was taken aback. He became nasty and told me that a mirror which was in a million pieces could be fixed. Ultimately they did not assist me with any of my broken items or damaged furniture. I spoke to Bill twice and told exactly what we had to move, one China cab, two dressers, a few small tables, one boxspring and mattress, about thirty boxes and very expensive guitar amps and cabinet. the time from a-z about 1 hour by truck. four very young strong men showed up an hour late, no biggy. the first thing they said was WOW! like they had never seen a one bedroom move before. they raised the 1700 dollar quote right off the bat. OK. Then after talking to Bill twice we were told they will not take a check, personnel or from my wifes trust fund which we had next day aired so it would be here. AT NO TIME DURING OUR CONVERSATIONS DID HE TELL ME NO CHECKS! Oh we have plenty of cash on hand in the bank to use a card but that is not the point. the point is when I called him to ask why he spoke to me like a low life POS. Oh I have had to take people to court so many times bla bla bla. basically, he stated he doesn't trust anyone. so we just paid over 5,000 dollars down on our new apt. bought over 6,000 dollars of new furniture to be delivered and all he had to do was call the bank to confirm the check, any other charges we would had paid with a card. Booked a "tentative" move date due to my new construction home not having a set closing date. The man who answers the phone was well aware that this could change. I called as soon as I found out the closing date had changed and he told me "too bad it has to be 72 hours to get your deposit back." I even told him I would just book another date 7 days later, however, he wanted another $575 deposit. Most of our experience was good our furniture and belongings that actually made it to our house went smoothly except my Yeti cooler was stolen and the company refused to ever acknowledge that it was stolen and insisted it was our fault even though it was in our fenced in yard one minute and gone the next with only the movers there. read more

My parents used this company to move and they were lowballed from the start saying it would take less guys and time than the crew they actually sent. The man who provided the estimates name was John, and when we called them about the price, they were very defensive and eventually stopped responding. I would definitely not recommend this company for your next move because they will overcharge you and give you no reason why. I have moved many times in the past and this was the most horrendous and frustrating experience ever. The owner was the one who provided the estimate....but the actual charges were more than double of what the estimate was!! Both the packing materials and labor was considerably higher than what he estimated. When I called to complain, he told me it was not an exact science and he had just "eyeballed" it. He was rude and completely unprofessional acting more like a child than a business owner (for example, when I mentioned that I had never had estimates so far off before, he said my other movers must have been perfect but he was just human). I did not even get an apology. There were other issues as well including a mix up with the proof of insurance which was late and required me to do some fast talking to the condo management. The crew he sent were good guys although the foreman told me several times at the start of each day that the estimate was only that and actual charges could be higher, it was obvious he has taken the brunt of the bad estimates before. I had a broken lamp and a number of new nicks on my furniture which is about par for any mover. I would never recommend these guys. Go with a big mover....their estimators are more experienced and they are better insured. This was my first time with a local....never again. Moving is frustrating enough. Thieves and careless, indifferent bums! I hired this company to move the contents of my condo into a storage unit in Sept. '14. I almost hired them again to move me out of storage and into my new place recently, THANK GOODNESS I DID NOT!! The lead guy commented that he has the same flat screen TV as mine, and oddly the TV stand is now missing! I warned them that the marble table tops were very fragile, no matter, now one is broken. I have moved many times, and have NEVER had such a horrendous experience! Do your research, go with one of the bigger name companies. In my opinion, Quality Movers Co. is not fit to move a doghouse. We used Quality Moving on July 13,2017 to move from Forked River NJ to Bayville NJ. The Price was great the 3-man team of Pete Sean(not sure of spelling) and Quincy were on -time at 8pm. They were careful with my possessions, experienced professionals, friendly and courteous. We moved on the hottest day of the year(100 degrees!!) We were moving to an apartment with 17 steps! Everything went sooooo smooth. It was the BEST moving experience I ever had. I highly recommend Quality Moving to everyone. They were great guys. I would not hesitate to use Quality again. We used Quality Moving to move about 70 miles from NJ to PA. The owner was easy to work with. He didn't waste my time or his. He inspected the contents of the house, gave us a binding estimate, no deposit required, set up the move and had his 3 man crew there 8am, on time. They were great guys and loaded our stuff into the truck quickly and with no damage. Then they unloaded everything into a storage locker for us. Nothing was lost, nothing was damaged. They charged us exactly what they said they would, and did a great job. Moving is stressful, but I have to say we had a great day with them. They were friendly, helpful and professional. Was scheduled for a 1pm move. At 1:30, I called and asked where the truck was. I was told that there was a delay and that now I could expect the truck at 4:00. I complained as to the lack of notice as well as the nonchalant behavior of the manager, considering my tightly-scheduled moving day was now ruined and I took off work for no reason, thereby losing money. I asked if my price would be reduced due to their mistake and was told, "no, that's not our problem." I had to scramble to find another mover on short notice. I received a call at 3:00 stating that they would also be unable to keep the 4:00 move time, and that it would be closer to five. I cancelled the move. Completely unprofessional and rude. We moved from Aberdeen, NJ to Toms River this month and had the best experience ever with this great company and moving team. Bill had has team show up on time, Al sat us down and explained all the costs and the extras we could need to keep our belongings safe. When we agreed on a plan of action, the team began. Shawn, Mike, and Al did a FANTASTIC job. They were in and out of the house and truck - back and forth - wrapping chairs, moving boxes - each man did his own thing - they weren't tripping over each other. The way they worked together was amazing to see. Even with an additional stop to pick up from a storage shed in Old Bridge, the job was done in a little over 7 hours - three bedrooms, 2 additional rooms, garage, outdoor closed in porch - all cleaned out and moved in to our new home in Toms River with not one item damaged!! Furniture was put where indicated - Shawn even helped us to put on floor savers to avoid damage to the new floors. What a wonderful, courteous, set of gentlemen. If we ever have to move again, we will definitely call Bill. In fact, we have already recommended him to one of our neighbors in Aberdeen who are moving out of state. Owner was responsive on initial contact and when we made reservation. Never called to confirm and stated when I called him that he tried to call but no message was recieved. The moved took 3 times longer than the time we were quoted. There were 3 movers who wer nice guys but extremely slow. In the end we had to have them move all the boxes into the garage and bring them into the house ourselves to to get the job done for less than $1000. We were quited for $500. We called the owner to complain. He said he would talk to the guys and call us back. he never called back. We called him again and he did nothing to try to resolve the situation. This company is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They were late, took no care in my furniture or walls. Multiple scratches and holes in walls. Milked the clock and then did not have change when asked for payment. I then called owner with complaints and he wanted nothing to do with them said it was my fault. He said they would come back in 2 days to repair walls and never showed. When I called again he claims bill was not paid in full. A bunch of BS from top to bottom. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We hired this moving company to empty the contents of our storage unit in NJ and move to our new home near Rehoboth Beach DE. I was given a quote for my move that would include 4 workers and take 3.5 hours. One of the workers was injured on the job and no one replaced the worker who was injured. The worker who was injured did not receive medical attention. He was restricted to staying inside the truck. With only 3 men left to move the contents of my condo, the 3.5 hours I was quoted to do the job turned into over 7. This translates to over $400 additional dollars I owed above what I was quoted. When I called the owner of the business to discuss this, we could not come up with a solution as to how to fix the problem. The company did remove the money from the final bill to compensate the fact that 3 workers did the job vs. 4 but like I previously stated, the 3.5 hour quote turned into over 7 hours, thus tacking on an additional $400+ to my bill. I believe a moving company should replace any injured workers while on the job to reflect what is quoted in order to keep the quote more accurate. I do understand people get injured on the job, especially in this type of work. However, according to the owners response, it doesn't matter how long the job takes and it especially doesn't matter how much your final bill is. I am not one to complain but if this happens to you, don't say I didn't warn you! One last thing before I end my complaint, I do have to say the employees who finished the job (Sean, Boobie and Ray) worked really hard, were respectful to myself and my wife and did a great job of packing my storage unit (that might have been too small). Due to the owners response to my complaint, I cannot recommend Quality Moving as a moving company to use during your move and I will not be using them again in the future. read more

We used Quality Moving for a move from Brick, NJ to Rockville, MD (200 miles). Bill was easy to work with and booked my last minute request 3 days before the move date. The move was handled professionally, on-time and without any issues. The 2 man crew showed up before the expected time of 8 am which was great due to time restrictions on the delivery end. They loaded up in one hour, drove 4 hours and unloaded in less than 2 hours. Both guys were patient, courteous and never complained about waiting on the elevator or moving any of the contents and even loaded small items that were not on the original inventory list. There was no upfront deposit or partial payment, the entire amount was due at the completion of the move. I will definitely use this company again and will insist on having Al (driver) handle my moves in the future. I will also be referring this company to anyone I know looking for a professional moving company. GREAT JOB!!!! read more
