Quality plus cleaners is the only place that I trust to handle my clothes in the Tampa Bay area. I tried numerous places but they were never living up to my standards. Quality plus cleaners goes the extra mile to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. They're friendly staff make sure they address any questions or concerns I may have with my items. My clothes come out terrific and I've never had an issue with their customer service or quality. I recently found out about their home delivery service and I can't believe that they provide this free service coming to my house up to two times per week to get my dry cleaning or laundry and deliver it within the next couple of days. This has been extremely helpful for my family as well as during this time of the stay-at-home orders due to the covid-19 pandemic. Their staff and delivery people go the extra mile to provide a very sanitary environment and you really couldn't ask for more. I recently sent in a comforter and it came out fantastic. It actually looks better than when I first bought it. Whatever they're using their it's certainly getting my clothes cleaner then my regular household detergent. I would recommend making sure they have your email because they send out coupons and other special offers on a regular basis. Another little secret is they actually provide a great laundry service as well. Sometimes I just don't feel like doing my regular laundry so I just take it to them and they do an excellent job of washing and folding it. Recently I got a nice shirt from one of my relatives for Christmas and I didn't have the guts to return it. I was very fortunate that quality plus cleaners has a excellent alteration Department and were able to get the shirt perfectly fitted for me. They actually have the seamstress measure you in store . Went to store at McMullen and Enterprise and had to have encountered the rudest service I have seen in a long time. First she can't make change on a $20 for a $13 order and makes it known that it's take it or leave it. I went and got my debit card. Then I questioned why the order was $13 since I gave a 30% off coupon. I was then told it wasn't good for shirts. I voiced my displeasure at that and said this was my last visit (been a customer for a few years). Not a word out of her except to sarcastically wish me a nice day. I have been using Quality Plus for 5 years since moving to Tampa. They were pretty good until recently. In the last month they have delivered my clothes to the wrong house twice. The first time they left my clothes at my neighbor's house. That mistake is understandable. However, the second time they delivered it to a house 10 miles from me. They picked up my clothes on Monday July 11 and were supposed to deliver them cleaned on Thursday July 14. Nothing showed up. Then on Monday July 18 they texted me to ask if I had a pick up. I said no, but I expected a delivery. They said they were delayed and I would receive the clothes on Thursday July 21. I then received a phone call from a woman on Tuesday July 19 stating that my clothes had been delivered to her house in Westchase. They obviosuly knew the clothes were lost and they were trying to bide time finding them versus being honest with me. What makes this worse is I had just bought $1000 worth of new clothes I had sent for cleaning before wearing the first time and had this person not been honest they would have been lost due to Quality Plus's incompetence. I would like to leave a review for the quality Plus dry cleaners off of 54 and Collier parkway in Lutz Florida. I've read so many bad reviews for quality Plus. One of them really stuck in my head who puts bedding on a processor? I don't believe betting is supposed to be pressed so I'm not even quite sure that's a true story or not! You're not even supposed to dry a down feathered comforter. It's supposed to be air-dried and I'm quite sure a dry cleaners would definitely not press it! Enough of that. My boyfriend took a couple of my things along with his things to the dry cleaners where he dealt with the lady named Peggy. He told me she was very nice and courteous! They did a great job on the blouse that I sent. I am also happy with the results on my dress! I just figured I let you guys know that all quality cleaners are not bad and actually everybody gets getting bad reviews that just shouldn't stop people from going accidents happen all the time that's why they're called accidents! In this world everybody makes mistakes that's never going to change. Just take a second to remember that when you post bad comments. My first and last experience with this dry cleaner was pretty lousy. On entering, the place smells (not like typical dry cleaner chemicals but almost moldy/stinky) and the folks take their good old timing getting to you. Okay, fine. When I came to pick up my clothes, they lost my pants. They said they "may have gone to another store," not sure, they would call and let me know in two days. Um, okay. Never got a call. When I returned from my trip, I called them, and they said yes, they found the pants, come get them. I drove back, they found them, and proceeded to charge me. I asked them if they thought I should be charged for a second trip back because they lost them; they said that was the policy. A guy there who overheard asked for a minute to talk to the manager; apparently the manager still wasn't happy about waiving the charge for the pants but agreed. This is the reason for a second star on this review (and thanks to the gent with some customer service skills). Overall, would not recommend. There are plenty of better options. read more

Gave this place 3 chances and the f*ed all 3! First, went in to get some skirts taken in, 4 people standing there and not one could assist. When someone did finally acknowledge my existence, they just looked at my like I had 3 eyes when I told them I wanted to try the clothes on for them to pin them for tailoring. Despite having actual fitting rooms in the place. Second, dropped off some basic laundry to be washed and folded and when I picked it up, it was stuffed in three different bags, unfolded. Got home and opened a bag of some stranger's whitey tighties. Called them immediately and at least they came and picked it up? Gross. Third chance - my husband picked up a favorite - and expensive - shirt of mine from being dry cleaned and when I got home and took it out of the bag, it was SAFETY PINNED to the hanger! If I could give this review a -5 stars, I would! I took 3 pairs of pants to the Quality Plus Cleaners in Clearwater (McMullen-Booth Road & Enterprise) about 1 month ago (just before Memorial Day weekend). All 3 pairs were not pressed properly (I like to have a crease down the middle of the leg) so I returned them and asked them to be re-pressed. Two of the pairs came back, but 1 is still outstanding. I have contacted, either in person or by phone, the store and have been told that the plant has been slammed and have not been able to complete the job. I then asked for the pants to be returned to the store, even if they are not pressed, so I can pick them up. I have been contacting customer service by phone and/or by email every day this week, and still have not been contacted by anyone. I would like to either get my pants back or be reimbursed for the cost of the pants, as well as the dry cleaning charge. They were brand new...I wore them 1 time prior to taking them to the cleaners. I have been a customer of Quality Plus Dry Cleaners for several years and am highly disappointed in the service (or lack thereof) that I have been given. read more

The owner refused to pay for the claim because I did not have original receipts for the clothing. Who keeps receipts after they wear a piece of clothing? Horrible. Which is generally hard for me to say because I work at a bank and have my own small business so I give businesses a ton of chances. But this one was the worst. Some of the issues: lost orders (only found by my receipt, not my info it was put into the system with), high cost tailoring that was 2 months longer than it said it would be, no starch when I asked for heavy and the most recent issue: early drop off that was supposed to be ready after 6pm. Where did they find my order? Last name? Nope. Order number? Not this time. STUFFED IN A CABINET, not processed at all. I'm done and I will take my $50-100 a month and tailoring needs somewhere else. read more

Very unhappy with their services and especially customer service!! The Quality Plus name is the BiG Joke!! They don't know how to handle the simplest materials. They keep damaging my very expensive clothes or loosing them, even when they've promised to give my items the extra attention. Already 2 years and they haven't paid for my damaged dress. And more of my dresses got damaged and several other item is still missing and they can't find them. I keep asking for the owner to contact me directly but he never did. This review is for the branch near me at 2481 McMullen Booth Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, but I understand they don't do the sewing here, instead they send it out to their main location which I think is Race Track Rd in Tampa. I brought in an expensive jacket to shorten the sleeves. 1. Jacket came back with pen marks all along the sewing area. 2. Sleeves were not the same length. 3. Sleeves were sewn in opposite directions, one angled to front, one angled to back. 4. The button and tabs were not at same level, 1/2 inch difference. 5. And they ripped the inner lining and tried to cover up their mistake by bunching up the rip and sewing it together. Absolute amateur job. After trying to deal with them for over 6 months during which time the seamstress wouldn't speak to me directly, instead forcing me to deal through the clerk, and I am sorry but clerk was not very sharp witted, didn't know the first thing about sewing, couldn't understand what I was saying, wasn't using the correct terminology to convey the problem to the seamstress, kept repeating that the customer is upset, I gave up. Then I took the jacket to a proper tailor and they discovered their deceit - the bunched up rip of the lining, etc. To fix the jacket they would have to shorten it by 2 inches, essentially making the jacket a bracelet sleeve (3/4 length), definitely NOT what I wanted. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. But let me tell you the owner of this business is quite good at playing the complaint game. I wish I could give them fewer than 1 star because despite all their proclamations of guarantee of satisfaction, they do not honor their work. read more

We had been using their valet service for nearly 3 years. We really had had no issues until the beginning of this year when our long time driver left. There was a new driver nearly every day. They would drop off and not pick up our bag, leave us the wrong clothes or just pick up our bag and not drop off our clothes. The last straw is when they never dropped off our clothes. (A men's dress shirt and two pairs of dress pants) They billed me for cleaning them and marked them delivered even though we never received them. Of course the manager in charge of valet claims we misplaced them in our home. She never returns calls or does anything she says. When I went in to return our valet bags and close our account she actually said, "is it because we lost your clothes?" She then told me I would be reimbursed for our lost clothing if I brought in receipts. I brought them in two weeks ago and won't hold my breath for that check. I am now paying more and driving my clothes in to another dry cleaner but it is worth it if they aren't lost. **A driver just dropped off one of the 3 missing items from our order that was picked up from our home on Jan 31st that was supposed to be delivered Feb 5th. (Today is Mar 11th) Just confirming that we did not in fact "misplace" our clothing and that they did lose our order. They lost my information regarding dropping it off from the computer. they called me and said it was ready when I went to pick it up it wasn't there and then they tried to tell me that I had already picked it up when in fact that was another item. I have called continuously for 6 weeks with no results. I've been constantly put off and my concerns have not been addressed. I even sent photos of what it looked like. No proper customer service to make things right, insisting that they could not grant the lower price on the advertisement outside because I did not tell them about it when I provided the 7 shirts and dry cleaning -- yet that is why I went there, lured by the huge advertisement banner. Quality Plus Cleaners ruined my $400 silk comforter from Soft Surroundings. I'm a loyal customer who gave it to them on Sept. 2. It was supposed to be ready by Sept. 7, but it was delayed a week. When I got it, no one told me there was anything wrong with it. Luckily, I checked and the silk stuffing was all wadded up inside. I refused it and said it was ruined. Today I got the message that they will pay me nothing for ruining it. Their excuse is that it had some stains and was about 4 years old. But I used it inside a duvet so the stains didn't matter. Even though it was 4 years old, the seams were still tight and there were no rips in the silk. I wish I had read the reviews before going to them. read more

I brought a dress to another drycleaners to get a wrinkle out that was across the chest and after that company had failed after two attempts I finally brought the dress to quality plus cleaners and they got it out in 5 minutes free of charge. DON'T DO IT! I was a new customer trying something new. I'm not at all impressed. Wow, no one gave them a good review. Not surprised. Not only did they lose my pants a few weeks ago, they also double charged me for a redo alteration. When I called to complain, instead of resolving the problem, they said "they did everything by the book and its your word against the workers". They are pretty much saying its my fault that they lost my pants. I cannot wait to pick up the rest of my clothes that I got altered there and never use them again! They lose items constantly, items end up separated from one order and don't come back on time, they do not give you a reasonable amount on a check if they lose/destroy an item, which has happened to me on more than one occasion and I figured I would give them another shot, but I should've known better and not done it. On one occasion, I was at the store I go to picking up my items and the owner just happened to be there, I got to see how he treats his employees and I was not happy. I finally found out why, nearly every month their are new girls there. I had never saw an employee there for more than two months! You could tell the girl that was working was clearly upset over something, as I was being rung up, I was over hearing him tell his employee that it was her fault that the company is losing customers and that she was pathetic. Any owner of a company, that talks that way to their employees should be ashamed and maybe realize that it is their own fault a company is going down!! I couldn't believe, right in front of me, the owner of the company was talking the way he was to that poor girl! Who knows, I could be wrong and the girl could have been really pushing customers away, either way, I was a customer, he should have taken into consideration that I was standing right there and it was extremely unprofessional! I will never come back to this place and I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go to another cleaners themselves. Very unprofessional, poorly ran. Anyone you do communicate with that claims to be a "manager" is extremely rude. DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I dropped off a few items of clothing to have dry cleaned. When I picked them up and got home, I realized that they gave me someone else's pants and a bag that didn't belong to me. I returned the pants and bag. I was told by a "manager" they had one week to try to locate my lost item of clothing and that I would receive a phone call. I specifically asked her, on purpose, if I would be receiving reimbursement for what my pants cost if they were not able to find them. She was very hesitant in answering my question. I asked again demanding an answer. She stated that I would receive reimbursement. A week passes and I still did not receive a phone call, so I stopped by the store. Another "manager" told me she had no idea what I was talking about. She then was able to find the note entered by the manager I had spoken to a week earlier. However, she explained that there was nothing in the notes mentioning that I was told I'd be reimbursed. Shocker. The manager on duty told me I would be put on a "claims list" and it's "first come, first serve". I told her I didn't think so. I was told I'd be reimbursed, so I need that payment in cash or by check. She apologized and told me she would personally look for my missing item. She said the company is really trying to work on improving their customer service (ha!). The manager on duty then proceeded to tell me that the amount I'm reimbursed will depend on how many times I've brought my pants in to be cleaned. I could not believe this. She stated it is company policy. I did not sign anything agreeing to any policies nor are any of their "policies" posted anywhere in the store. She provided me with her name and phone number and said she would do everything she could to help me. I asked how long I should wait before I expect to hear from her. She said within 24 hours. Here we are over 24 hours later and I have yet to receive a phone call. For a company that's trying to improve their customer service they are doing a TERRIBLE job! I will not stop until I am reimbursed for the missing items. I will NEVER use this place again and strongly advise that no one else does either! read more

I went to Quality Plus Cleaners (55) on Cross Creek Blvd to request dry cleaning for 1 shirt. They gave me the receipt for $2.59. When I asked, they told me the price for all shirts was $2.59. Two days later I returned to the same place to request the service for 2 other shirts. At that time, they just gave me the receipt of the 2 shirts with no price on it. Because it was not any price list display for the customer to see I assumed the cost was $2.59 each as they told me the day that I took the first shirt there. Next day I went there to pick my 2 shirts up and pay for the service and at that moment they told me that the price for the shirts was $6.93 each for a total amount at that time of $13.86.
