Stephen, our consultant, was very clear and direct in his explanations, and went over all of the financials with us. Buying a furnace is no joke, and lightens your bank account considerably. Living off the grid was looking very tempting, but Stephen walked us through the process of applying for a government grant for our new, energy efficient heat pump. We were successful, and received the grant, which lightened our load. When it came time to do the actual technical work, our technicians, Arek and Brad, were top notch. There was another technician, whose name I didn't get, and he was great too. They showed us how everything works, how to use our new thermostat, and explained how to arrange proper servicing or our new furnace and heat pump/air conditioner. Bonus: they are OK with dogs!! We have two friendly but large dogs, and the guys weren't afraid! Our home is warm now, thanks to WAZA, They helped us every step of the way to a climate controlled house, and know how to handle people who are stressed because the furnace dies. Shout out to Stephen, Arek, Brad and the other technician who was with them on the first couple of days. We are really happy!

We bought a fireplace through a company that was sold to David Smart. We called in October because…read morethe pilot wouldn't stay lit and they couldn't schedule us for 3 weeks. So mid Nov comes, David arrives and cleans the FP, charges us several hundred dollars and 5 minutes after he leaves it goes off again. I called immediately and left a message. A woman said they needed to order a part. We've called half a dozen times since then and get no response. It's been weeks and no one has even given us a single update. We either get the answering machine or a woman tells us she'll let David know we called. I'm so very frustrated over this. We've had this gas fireplace for many years and have never had a service issue with the former owner. I really miss having it on!

This week, another technician who repaired the stove pointed out that a plate was not covering the electrical wiring behind the stove's kick plate. So, for four years, my family and I were using a GAS stove with exposed wiring just behind the kick plate. The owner came by today with a "colleague" to "investigate." His colleague admitted that a plate should cover the exposed wiring. Rather than admit this grievous oversight, the owner offered up this absurd explanation: Someone else removed the plate in the four years since the original installation. No one removed the plate. No one. Why would anyone do that? He also claims that he installed a shut off valve. I have asked the TSSA to launch an investigation. Save yourself the risk and trouble my family has unknowingly endured for four years. I urge you to choose another contractor. The owner will no doubt respond to this warning with denials and accusations. You can believe him if you want to but, if you do, you will regret it.

He is a real pro and even though…read morewe were out of his service area he agreed to take on our job to clean out a very plugged roof top dryer vent. But Peter did not stop there. He realized the vent pipe was disconnected from the dryer and lint had accumulated inside the dry creating a real fire hazard. He took it upon himself to open up the dryer and clean out the lint inside the dryer and also reconnect the vent pipe and secured it with a screw. Peter really only needed to clean the vent but being the professional that he is he went over and above. Importantly he did all this and did so being very fair with his pricing.
