I'd shopped around a few places locally and got a few ball park quotes. Only Trinity Brick Co. were willing to come out and review the project. Mike gave me a breakdown on costs and materials. My wife an I did quite a bit of research as to exactly what we wanted for style, color, pattern, etc. Mike was very patient, was there to help us make informed decisions, and helped mitigate potential issues. Even going so far as to save some of the sod, to fill in other areas of our yard. The whole project was done in just a few days. They were completely unqualified to navigate the permitting process, even when we stepped in to help by preparing the documents and meeting with the city. We finally had to terminate the contract and they agreed - in writing, several times - to refund the substantial security deposit we had paid. To date, they have failed repeatedly to make the refund payments they have committed to, in writing. This includes a signed BBB agreement. Constant excuses and unfulfilled promises to pay "this week" - I have lost track of the number of times the owner has made a commitment to make good on his word. We are still out over $1000 in funds we paid that (a) resulted in NO work completed, and (b) he has promised, repeatedly, to refund. Clearly this company cannot be trusted.
