What a little hidden gem. Like being in Vietnam. There are fresh fruits and some delicious cooked and ready to eat snacks. They even sell banh mi. I ordered a sugarcane juice and the price was not bad at all. I got a XL WHATABURGER sized drink for less than $10. It was really good. Fresh, and not added sugar. Service was great. Easy and fast. Too bad it's not more well known.

Came here on a Sunday at 1pm. They were medium busy. I ordered #1 and it took about 15 mins to be ready. Taste was great. Bread was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. You order at the counter and eat in the food court are. Casual dining, noisy ambience on the weekends, much quieter weekdays.

    Large sugar cane drink!

Still the best sugar cane drink in Houston. They use real kumquat and fresh sugar cane not frozen or old juice that's been sitting out or kumquat syrup. $9 for a large but it's really large like 2 drinks in one. It's worth it! There is a shop next to it that also has sugar cane drink but it's not good so make sure you go to the right one!

Very friendly service! The older lady was out of bread and walked to the grocery store to get more bread to make banh mi for us. I told her no it's okay but she insisted. They also sell homemade sate, fresh fruits and other snacks. The banh mi was pretty good as well and had lots of meat!

From CA and visited the area and wanted a drink. I got the sugarcane and strawberry and it was great! $6.75 for a small.

If you've got time and money to BURN And you're gaining weight but you never LEARN And you like to spend every penny you EARN On Boba and Ice Cream (Freshly CHURNED) (that was a stretch) (that's what she said) Then I swear on Grandpa in the URN That there's no better place to TURN Than the Sugar Cane Juice for which I YEARN From this little place called QUAN BINH MINH WHAT I used to go to Queen concerts back in the 80s and when Radio Ga Ga came on, I'd get naked and do the windmill. Unfortunately this behaviour saw Queen Ban Me from attending all future concerts. However, Queen Ban Me should not be confused with Quan Banh Mi, which is a wonderful little place to get Sugar Cane juice in Houston's extensive Chinatown. What to get: Sugar Cane Juice What not to get: Michael Caine's Juice I usually understand what most things mean, but what does Quan Binh Mean? I got sugar cane juice from here for a pretty affordable price and it was absolutely delicious so I'm going to give five stars. I'm a big fan of sugar cane juice especially in Brasil where it's called Caldo de Cana. I don't always like the Vietnamese version quite as much but in this case I absolutely do. Very well done and very delicious. While you're in here make sure you also try the waffles at Coco because they're absolutely amazing as well. As is your sister.

Fresh sugar cane juiced in front of me and fresh coconut juice chopped poured out with some coconut meat scraped into the cup for me, it can't get any better!!!! Ate lunch in the plaza and wanted a refreshing fresh juice to help digest and quench my thirst on this hot day. I allied through the Hong Kong plaza and found this! What attracted me was seeing sugar cane juicing machines along with many fruits in the fridges. The 24 oz plastic cups were $5 and 32 oz foam cups were $6 and $1 extra for no ice. The man was very nice and helpful. Certainly quenched my thirst!!!!

Dragon Fruit- Texture like a Kiwi but sweet instead of tart. Awesome!

Really different items here than anything you will get anywhere else. I supposed this is a "Mega" version of the little street stands in Asia. The counter is filled with all sorts of seasonal and exotic fruits. The back counter has all types of grinders, sealer, juicers and even a press for sugar cane. Items: Apple, bannana, strawberry, orange smoothie- freshly blended from fruits right in front of you. Excellent energy boost before a round of golf. A+ Fruits- sometimes frozen, but always unique. A This is one of my favorite stops in town, and yes, I'm a regular!

I actually think I enjoy Houston's Chinatown better than the ones in California like SF or LA. Linda's Tropical Fruits is not only a little store where you can get produce and groceries/snacks, but also in the back, they have the drinks and acai bowls! I ended up getting the Super Fruit Slushy, which came with red and white dragon fruit, soursop, Thai banana, and sugar cane juice. It was so delicious and really refreshing! If I got the chance to come back, I would definitely want to try another one of their smoothies and try their acai bowls since those looked so amazing and aesthetic! Definitely a hidden gem :)

Not to mention cutting it up and taking the pits out. Too much work. I rather pay for the ready to eat stuff! My go to drink is the seasonal longan pandan drink. Sadly it's not offered year round. However their other drinks are just as tasty. Some can agree the prices are a bit higher than your average Asian market prices for fruits and goods, but these are special imported/seasonal items. Come and grab yourself a sweet treat or a refreshing drink!

It's close to Costco and H-Mart, and near H-Mart you'll also find Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours. There's an 85°C nearby as well and with Costco right next door, you could easily spend half a day hopping between all these places. On weekends, traffic can be pretty crazy and parking isn't easy since everyone shops then. However, if you come on a weekday especially outside of lunchtime--it's much easier to find a parking spot. Inside 99 Ranch, there's a food court with options like San dong noodles, dim sum, stir-fry dishes, and Chinese barbecue. On the other side of the plaza, there are also several restaurants, including Korean spots and Vietnamese crawfish places. As for the store itself, there are always clearance items near the Kung Fu Tea area, which we usually check out before heading in to shop for fruits, produce, vegetables--pretty much everything. I found my favorite Japanese soy milk but this was banana flavored. Way too sweet for me and it was $4/carton. It's a large store and they offer a loyalty program. If it's your first time visiting 99 Ranch, you could easily spend an hour just roaming the aisles. There's so much to see--it almost feels like a little field trip every time we go.

Then he proceeded to help every other customer who walked up after me. When I finally asked what was going on, he suddenly told me I needed to get a number--something that was never mentioned when I first arrived. This was rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. There was zero communication, zero courtesy, and no accountability. Watching someone intentionally skip you after you've been standing there waiting is beyond frustrating and disrespectful. Customer service like this is unacceptable. If you don't want to help customers, you shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. Management seriously needs to address this behavior because it reflects terribly on the business. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they enjoy being ignored and treated like they don't matter. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Ended up going to H-Mart down the street. Much more professional.
